Music

Jazz, classical, country, opera, soca, pop, etc. is all heard around the island.  Live music is playing nearly every day at several bars along Duval and the harbor-front including Margaritaville, Sloppy Joe's, Hogsbreath Saloon, La Te Da, Schooner Wharf Bar, Pier House, and more.  The Key West Symphony, Pops, and Island Opera have performance dates primarily between Christmas and April.  Special performances will be listed on the events calendar.

 

Theatre

Art

There are many galleries along Duval Street and White Street that feature the works of local artists and others.  In April there is an outdoor art fair along Whitehead Street , and rotating exhibits at the Customs House Museum.

Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum
907 Whitehead Street.

This is where Hemingway lived in the 1930's and where he wrote several novels.   Lighthouse Court is right across the street at 902 Whitehead Street .  The home is open daily for tours.

As cool as lighthouses get, you can climb to the top (or not) for spectacular views of Key West . .
