Check in and check out were very easy and fast. Staff was very knowlegeable about the area and things to see and do. Room was clean and comfortable, just a bit cozy. The breakfast was great, and seating around the pool for breakfast was fun. I would recommend this place to my friends. Seeing the southernmost point in the USA and the sunset at Mallory Square was fun.

Our stay at Albury Court was well beyond our expectations. It started when an unavoidable delay in our travel caused us to delay our arrival. The staff was very gracious in changing our date of a nonrefundable reservation for the day we could arrive & also called back to make sure the date was correct when it was not the next day. The desk staff were very welcoming & concerned. I’m sorry I don’t have their names. They answered our questions about getting around. So was the maintenance guy. The location of the inn was great! Easy walking distance to all sites. The pool was refreshing & the breakfast was excellent!

We arrived at the hotel after taking a walking tour of Duval Street. The staff was friendly and our room was ready. The room was very clean and the location was close to the ferry dock and to Mallory Square. The pool was clean and breakfast was great. We will definitely stay there during our next visit to Key West! The island is beautiful!!

Our experience started from the reservation process with Ray who is a hoot. Upon arrival from a day that started at 3AM with a trip to Ft Myers to take the ferry, we were greeted warmly with a wonderful smile and warm hospitality. Our room was ready and was clean and inviting. Asked where to have lunch and Paseo within walking distance was suggested. Great choice.  Our private front porch was great for relaxing and enjoying a cocktail or morning coffee. Breakfast choices from cereal, fruit or fresh baked goods from a local bakery was perfect each morning. Any time we stopped in the office and asked questions or directions everyone was extremely helpful and so very personable. Next visit to Key West will be at Albury Court for sure.

We booked our room for The Songwriters Festival and were very satisfied with our room and the staff. The room was very comfortable and the property offered us a chance to relax after the festivities on Duval. The pool with the waterfall was especially relaxing. The staff was very good, always saying hello to us with a smile. The location was especially great, a short walk to Duval and a short walk to the Schooner Wharf, which is one of our favorite places. We are planning to stay with the Historic Key West Inns hotels on our next visit.

We stayed at Albury for 3 nights, we were in beautiful Key West for a wedding. First and foremost, the young lady that was working the front desk upon our arrival was the most pleasant individual. She started our stay out on the right foot, and they are lucky to have her.

Positives

  • Within walking distance of Duval Street, marina, Mallory Square, etc.
  • Quiet Location (Old Town)
  • Public Parking garage just one block south on Grinnell. We actually never used our car once arriving, we rented scooters and there was ample parking for the scooters across the street on Eaton.
  • Room was small, but adequate. We did not come to Key West to sit in our room, we only came back to sleep.
  • Breakfast at the pool was plentiful. An assortment of Bagels, Yogurt, Cereal, Juice, Coffee, etc. For a free breakfast it was fine. The “local” ham and cheese croissants were fantastic!
  • Pool area was nice, but we never got a chance to utilize.
  • Each day, I placed the “please service” sign on the door and returned to fresh towels and our bed made.
  • The bed was so comfortable!!
  • Room included hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and fridge. No microwave.

Negatives

  • The room (#6) needs a fresh coat of paint, I can tell they “patched” up some areas, just time for a refresher
  • The bathroom shower grout needs to be bleached/cleaned. It is grey and for some people that may be a turn off.
  • The wet bar faucet, for some reason is so far back if you use it the water will go all over the counter.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Convenient to the Dry Tortugas terminal, Mallory Square and Duval Street. The database I made my reservation on said they provided parking but found out it was on a first come serve basis Street parking. One of the employees was kind enough to move his vehicle so we can have a parking space. What a wonderful man.  But once we parked, we did not have to move to see and do what we wanted.   The room was nicely decorated and comfortable.

We had a great stay at the Albury Court Hotel.  It was very clean and well kept. It also was a great location, very conveniently close to duval street which is where is where all mainstream activities happen in key west. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
