We really enjoyed our stay at the Albury Court Hotel.  We were in Key West for four days of relaxing and the Albury Court was perfect.

Pros:

-Great location!  We were able to walk every where and only used the car when we took a day trip to Bahia Honda.

– Friendly and very helpful staff

– The room was clean and in good shape

– The pool was nice and the roof deck (we stayed across the road in the 2nd building) was a great place to sit and relax!

Things to consider:

– if you drive plan on finding a spot and not touching your car!  There is no parking and finding a public spot took about 1/2 an hour.  Not a big deal because you really don’t need your car when you are there.

– No internet access in room- in hindsight you are on vacation and this is a good thing

– AC was very noisy when we ran it

Overall this is a great place to stay if you are looking for a room close to the center of Key West!

The Albury Court was a convenient location for those who can walk a few blocks to everywhere.  The pool and breakfast were great additions.  The staff could not have been better.  Kaya is a gem of an assistant for everything!  We were disappointed in our room location, however.  Room 1 on the first floor, directly on Frances Street, no balcony, no chairs, no character.  I did not see the other rooms but they appeared to have nicer views and some had porches with chairs.  Like all Key West decent hotels the prices were up there!

Your courteous and professional staff were very mindful of all the details and our clean, modern room made us feel welcome and comfortable.  After a relaxing breakfast next to the pool, we enjoyed water activities, leisurely walks and the best food and drink Key West had to offer.  Our stay at Albury Court helped us fill our days and nights with the most Key West has to offer and we can’t wait to come back.  We hope to see you soon!

Our group loved staying at Albury Court Hotel in the beginning of February. The staff was super friendly and polite, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. The reason why you got “very good” instead of “excellent” was the breakfast. Although I mentioned that I have a celiac disease and cannot eat gluten, there were not much food to eat at the breakfast. All the cereals contained wheat/barley, as well as bread, muffins, croissants etc. In addition, it would have been nice to have normal yoghourt instead of fat-free one, as nonfat does not taste very good. Anyhow, we were very happy that we stayed at Albury Court, and in case we come back to Key West some day, we will definitely book rooms at this hotel. Thank you!

I chose this hotel because of the cost, proximity to the Key West Express ferry, and previous stay. It did not disappoint. I prefer a quiet location that is close within walking distance to most activities. It’s clean, the staff is super friendly, and best of all, it was nice and quiet at night…prime sleeping conditions. Would def go back again!

We stayed at the Albury Court.  Check-in is 3:00 – we were a half hour out at 1:30 and called and asked if we could check in early.  The woman at the desk was so accommodating – she said no problem; the rooms were already available.  That enabled us to start ‘out’ an hour earlier than we expected!

Their proximity to Duval Street is very do-able for walking.  That was important to us.  No need to bring your car.  We parked the car near the hotel and forgot about it until it was time to leave.

The rooms were very neat, clean and comfortable!  Breakfast in the morning was more than adequate.  Fresh bagels, croissants, cereal, fruit, yogurt – coffee, tea, hot chocolate – all served next to a very pretty pool.

Do we recommend Albury Court?  We sure do!

We took a spontaneous trip to Key West in February to get away from the cold winter weather in Ohio. We were traveling on a motorcycle and were caught in the rain. We were desperate to find some where to get out if the rain. While traveling down the Keys we met another couple on a motorcycle who recommended the Key Lime Inn for reasonable rates and a clean room. We called them and they didn’t have any rooms available, but the recommended we call The Albury Court.

The person that answered the phone was so helpful. They had a room available, but she told us to come over and we would get a “walk in” rate which is less than if we reserve a room on the phone. We arrived at the hotel, got a room for $169 per night. It was a great find! We loved the little court yard where free breakfast is served. They have all local made croissants, bagels, & muffins. The bagels were wonderful. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 5 which is a handicap room. It had an awesome shower. Room was very clean and comfortable

After arriving in Key West and finding that our vacation rental, reserved and paid for on-line, was a scam, we were thinking of where we could stay. Luckily, I visit Key West, at least, once a month, so I knew we’d be OK. I had stayed at the Chelsea House, one of the Key West Historic Inns properties, which was lovely.

We were close to the Albury Court. We were very lucky to get a room, as there were three major events taking place in town. When we checked in, we were told we were the second group THAT DAY that were victims of cybercrime. There were three of us, a girls week, and our spirits were not to be dampened! Our room was perfect for us, #22, two queen beds, one with a fireplace, two TVs, two separately operated air conditioners, very quiet, a kitchen, huge bathroom with lots of counter space, a jacuzzi, and big walk-in shower, quite spacious, and Rusk bath products. There is also a semi-private patio for this room. Two suggestions, if possible, add a full-length mirror, perhaps on back of bathroom door, or, in the back bedroom. The other is that the floor around the outside of the shower needs a good scrubbing, some mildew.
There is a lovely pool area, almost like a private backyard, where continental breakfast is offered in the mornings. Albury Court is conveniently located, close to Duval St, Front St, etc. I do believe they are pet friendly, as well. If you have a car, street parking is not always available close by, especially on weekends, but, the public parking garage is very close, across the street, $13 a day. We parked there, never moved. Worth it for us. The entire staff was so kind and sympathetic to our circumstances, making changes to accommodate our extended stay, which I do realize is not always possible.

If you want that magical, relaxed Key West vibe, then Albury Court is a must.

We totally enjoyed our 3 night stay.  Rooms tasteful & clean; loved the coffee and breakfast.  Lynn at front desk gets our “service beyond expectations” award. She deftly took care of airline boarding passes, but especially had coffee & breakfast out early on our day of departure.  25 of us all packing into our two vans for 7:45 departure north.  That really helped us a lot.
