Chelsea House Pool & Gardens

The hotel was wonderful.  Our room was a little on the tiny side, but it was clean and had a great view with a huge front porch to go out onto and sit and relax.  The pool was nice, breakfast was good, and the staff were very nice.  The location was walkable to the Dry Torguas ferry and also to downtown on Duval Street.  Great restaurants nearby, as well as a CVS pharmacy for any last minute needs.  We would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I came down to celebrate my birthday. We live about an hour and half south of Orlando.  We wanted to get to the keys early and had been driving all night.  We arrived about 7:15am and when we got there we went to the front desk told the girl that we had been driving all night, and asked by some miracle if the room we reserved was available and if we could check in.  When she looked, it was and she promptly checked us in.  The room was so nice and beautiful.  We had a huge window to look out of.  We had never stayed in a B&B before, but we loved it and will definitely be staying again.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Chelsea House! The accommodations were wonderful and the staff very helpful. We will be back soon!

We had a great stay! From the friendly staff to the cozy room to the relaxing pool area. The breakfast was perfect! We only wish we had stayed longer!

The first impression was the Staff and they are so very helpful. Geoff and his Irish counterpart( sorry forgot his name), but both were most helpful to us on arrival and throughout our entire stay. We also met Linda your  Executive Housekeeper and I must say her staff were quite pleasant and the cleanliness was very well done. With 35 years of cleaning experience and as a Master Registered Executive Housekeeper I cannot help but look at the cleaning of our accommodation. They were excellent! We met Betsy and she was so helpful and delightful too. Fancey, our little dog, really enjoyed her visit as well. She received plenty of treats from really nice folks.

You should be proud of your staff and facilities.  Let them know everyday they exceed expectations!

Had a wonderful time at Chelsea House. Its central location makes it the perfect place to stay for whatever adventure you have planned in Key West. Will stay there again when I return to Key West.

We enjoyed staying at the Chelsea House.  Through a little web browsing before we left home, we picked a few places from which to choose, and picked Chelsea.  It was the right choice.  Our room was clean, attractive, and the breakfast, good.  Your location made it walkable to the main area, and your parking lot provided a safe place to leave our car.  The desk people were helpful and friendly.  What more could we ask for?!

We would stay at the Chelsea again, and would certainly recommend it to others.

I made two hotel room reservations at Chelsea House.  The occasion was our wedding.  We had a room on the second floor, which was a great room, loved the balcony facing the front of the house and the relaxing atmosphere.  Our guests for the wedding arrived early and we were able to check in for them.  The room was ready for them and they were able to take a rest from the long trip to Key West before enjoying an evening out on the town.  Everything for me was so convenient.  I made a last minute apt for nails and it was withing walking distance.  I also had a hair appt day of wedding and I was able to walk to and from the salon. The front desk clerks were so helpful in arranging taxi’s when needed.  After our wedding and after our guests left, we stayed and we were able to enjoy the complimentary tickets to Ernest Hemingway home and the Lighthouse Museum (again very close to Chelsea House).  We loved it and it was a perfect end to our great time in Key West.  The pool and all areas of the House were very clean and well kept.  I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely return soon!
