This was my first time visiting Key West. I had a very nice time and was very pleased with the accommodations and friendly staff at the Chelsea House.

The room was clean and comfortable  (believe it was room 29  with 2 queen beds)

Also enjoyed the breakfast. The check-in and check-out process ran smoothly.

I would definitely recommend you to any friends coming to Key West and expect to stay at  one of your Inns on my next time to Key West.  Keep up the great job.

We enjoyed our room in this nice hotel located in a Victorian Key West house. Our room was on the pool side and was quiet. It was very clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. The room was cleaned daily and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is served on the pool, which is very nice. We rented bicycles to ride through neighborhoods and even to dinner on Duval, what a treat! WE have never done that on any other vacation. Ask at the front desk and they will get them for you too.

We would definitely stay at Chelsea House again.

Greetings!  My friends and I had an awesome experience in Key West last weekend.  Our stay at your Chelsea House was enjoyed by all.  First off, the location of the Chelsea House is prime…being able to leave our vehicle and walk around the entire time was an added bonus.  Everyone in the hotel was kind and happy to accommodate our needs at any time.  I will definitely recommend your hotel to anyone interested in staying overnight in Key West and I look forward to visiting again myself.  Until next time, thank you and keep up the good work.  Cheers!

Beautiful accommodation in this large Victorian house which has two historic buildings. We stayed for 4 nights in January and we loved it. Central location is very convenient to the city center and also the beach. Our room was number 18 and it was really lovely. Breakfast was continental but enough for us. Pool was relaxing and front desk helped with reservations for dinner and sunset sail and gave good recommendations for other things we wanted to do. Liked the experience very much.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Chelsea House for our wedding in Key West on January 4. We had actually switched to this B&B from Avalon Bed and Breakfast because we’d expected to bring our puppy with us.

We’re so glad that we didn’t switch our reservations because the stay was absolutely perfect. Leyanna was delightful, helpful, and so wonderful for each day we were there. Bryan also upgraded us to a perfect room upon hearing that we were there for our wedding.

We currently live in California but will be returning at the end of 2014 to celebrate our one year anniversary with Chelsea House. Thanks again for everything!

This was our fourth visit to Chelsea House, each time we reserved a king room and are very happy with our stay! This year they remodeled our room and it was great! B & B’s in Key West are mostly very old homes that have been converted. They need restored (again), rooms and pluming added into a smaller older era, property lines defined and landscaping. Chelsea House has done a very good job with all these things without loosing the original charm! The room we always come back to was improved but still has a quirky shower door opening, funky knobs on the dresser and the ac was a little weak, on the other hand, the wood floors were new, power outlets everywhere for electronics, new tile, toilet and vanity station!

We just love walking out of the french doors onto a too small old porch, but hey!, you just can’t get that with the new five star places! The people there are quite friendly but will also respect your peace & quiet and seem to know what mood you’re in. One thing you do get that is hard to come by in KW is parking! Free parking! The area does require some bit of walking to better attractions but there are some real gems and better shopping nearby, also near gay or stripper bars. Not to worry, the area does seem to be safe enough location and we never had a problem there! In Key West we have stayed at the $600.00 night waterfront – to the small B&B with no parking or balcony / porch.

For us, Chelsea House fits the bill! Do your research and find the room that suits you, the staff will mail you a layout map of the rooms and you can choose the one that suits you.

This is the second time my boyfriend and I have stayed here. The first time we chose the Chelsea House not knowing too much about the island but we had rented a car and we needed a safe place to park it (check!). You can’t ask for a more convenient walk to Duval Street, and yet it’s just far enough away that it’s quiet when you’re ready for a good night’s sleep. Now that we were ready to explore a little more of the island other than Duval Street we realized this really is the perfect location for walking almost anywhere! The pool is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and breakfast is great. Our rooms both times have been a bit small, but we’re not here to spend time in our room so it’s fine. The rooms are clean and modern and perfectly comfortable. We would stay here any trip to Key West and recommend this to any one looking for a place to stay!

Just wanted to let you and your management know that my wife and I had a great stay at your Chelsea House hotel last week (Nov 13 – 17). The room and amenities were good, but even more impressive – your staff was great!
The folks we ran into around your hotel greeted us in a very warm and engaging manner.  Always courteous and helpful. But, I want to call special attention to your front desk staff and Ms. Lyenna in particular.  She greeted you when you walked into the lobby, immediately offered to help and took time to provide great information.  She was very professional in all my dealings with her. She is a PRO!!

I travel extensively (70 to 90 nights a year)  for work, both domestic and internationally, and she stands out as a star who could work in any 5 star resort.

We look forward to coming back and will also be referring our friends.

Regards,
Lee Fagot

Our family of 7 ( including our dog) had a wonderful time at the Chelsea House. Service at the front desk was excellent. All three rooms were nicely decorated. The location is great, and it is truly a pet friendly hotel. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a great experience.
