Stayed at Cypress House Hotel the first week of Dec 2016 and loved the location and amenities of the hotel.

Staff was extra friendly and I highly recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Key West.

We recently stayed at the Cypress House Hotel December 7-11 2016. The staff checking us in were very pleasant and informative. The lead us to a very nice room on the first floor with a private porch. The room was very nice and comfortable with a very large bathroom. The grounds and pool area were also nice and very well kept. In the afternoon they do a “liming ” hour which is nice and in the morning they have coffee and breakfast. The location on Caroline street is great. Just about a block off Duval and about another block to the Bight but just far away from the noise at night. Next time we are in Key West we will for sure be staying at Cypress House Hotel.

Thank you for your hospitality. Doug & Michelle

This was our first time at the Cypress House Hotel and we will be back. The staff was helpful, and made you feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Our room was perfect with all conveniences and a laid back motif, and a great outdoor patio with side table and chairs. The location on a quiet street a block off Duval and three blocks from the water. Everything was perfect and we are looking forward to returning.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cypress House Hotel.  The accommodations were clean and modern. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection, including a different egg dish daily.  We also enjoyed the liming hour. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful.

We stayed at the Cypress House Hotel for a quick weekend trip for a friends wedding.  The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful to assist with arrangements in getting around town, especially Melissa.  The amenities were very clean, well organized and made you feel right at home. The hotel is within walking distance of everything, we parked the car and forgot about it until it was time to go home.  It was an extremely relaxing and much needed break.

Very quaint and cute historic hotel.  VERY close to everything we wanted to do (Mallory Sq, Sunset Key, Duval, Marina).  So glad we stayed in this ’boutique style’ hotel where we were treated like we had a face and a name and not just ‘cattle’.   Melissa gave excellent service checking us in and out (she even helped carry a suitcase to our room).  We were given an upgrade from queen to king upon arrival and room was spacious, clean, and shower was Huge.  Breakfast was great (local ham and swiss filled croissants!)  Was so nice sitting out in open air by pool for breakfast.  Lovely hotel!!  Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

We really enjoyed our stay.  We have stayed at their Chelsea House Hotel and Merlin Guest House in the past and liked them as well but Cypress House Hotel has the best location for us. We usually take the Key West Express so it’s close to the terminal, close to Mallory Square, the harbor and Duval.  The rooms were very nice and spacious.  Bathrooms were updated beautifully and bed was comfortable.  We had 2 rooms on the third floor so it was a lot of stairs after a lot of walking all day but I wouldn’t consider that a minus.  The third floor rooms also have skylights in the ceiling which tend to wake you up earlier so I would probably ask for a lower floor next time.  Other than that, they were nice enough to let us check-in early and the process was simple.  Staff was very courteous and friendly.  We will definitely stay there again.

We’ve lost track of how many years we have stayed at the Cypress House Hotel, but have enjoyed each one. Due to a mistake on my part we weren’t able to get our favorite room but Melissa and Jacob worked to get one that we liked as well. It was great to see Dennis and Scott, who always make us feel welcome. We’re booked for next year and already counting the days.

We just had a five night stay at the Cypress House Hotel in Key West. We were delighted with the staff, room accommodations and amenities of this hotel. The breakfast was delicious and varied from day to day. The cocktail hour offered not only a good selection of beverages, but also tasty appetizers. The location of the hotel was ideal for the nightlife of Key West. WE WILL BE BACK.

This was our first visit to Key West. Stayed 5 nights at the Cypress House Hotel and loved every minute! Every person at the hotel went out of their way to welcome us, answer every question we had, and make sure we had an enjoyable visit.  The room reflected the period of the historic house, while the bathroom was very updated and modern.

Loved the breakfast every morning and the liming (happy hour) every afternoon.  We took advantage of the pool, which was warm enough to be comfortable, but cool enough to be refreshing.  We could have packed a lot less since Cypress House provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, umbrellas, rain ponchos, and pool towels that could also be taken to the beach. They thought of everything! Finally, our trip would not have been complete without Melissa at the front desk.  She happily answered our plethora of questions, called cabs for us, and always pointed us in the right direction when we got turned around.  I highly recommend the Cypress House Hotel.
