We stayed for 3 nights and plan on going back. Our room was very well kept and the location of the hotel is, IMO, the best spot in KW. It was 1.5 blocks from Duval St, yet at night you couldn’t hear any noise. At the hotel, you’re offered breakfast and at 4:30 “liming hour” starts. “Liming hour” was a variety of drinks and 1 appetizer to go with it. Either way a great additional perk to staying there. We we will stay there again once we go back!

While the location and condition of the Cypress House Hotel is great, the staff at the house make the stay there a great experience. We stayed for 3 nights in the Library room and could not ask for a better relaxing stay. Just a couple roads from Duval St., made it extremely convenient and quiet.  Their recommendation on places to visit and things to do were spot on and made our time there even more fun. We definitely would stay there again!

We visited the Cypress House hotel in mid July.  Arrived at the hotel a bit early for check in but Melissa at the front desk was happy to put us in a room. The entire staff was friendly and had a very good knowledge of the local attractions and eating establishments. Melissa recommended we visit the Butterfly Conservancy and we were glad we did. Our room was spacious and comfortable. During our visit the room was maintained very well . We were happy we picked Cypress House Hotel and would highly recommend it to others.

My experience with my stay at the Cypress House Hotel started with a young man doing a fantastic job checking us in. He made sure all was right with the room and luggage. Breakfast and “liming hour” featured some delicious choices. It was served near the pool with coffee being available in the kitchen throughout the day. The young lady who did the house cleaning was quick and thorough. I wish the parking was a little closer.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Cypress House Hotel this past weekend. Melissa greeted us at the door. We arrived early and she recommended a great lunch spot and then called us as soon as the room was ready (early check in, too!) We stayed in the King room with access to the porch which overlooked the street, but was sheltered by palms and flowering trees. Perfect location for many restaurants and shops, as well as nightlife on Duval Street. When we got to our room we found a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne – nice touch! We went down to the pool area for “liming hour” which was very nice. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Since our ferry didn’t leave until 5 pm the next day, we were able to check out late, leave our bags in the front office for the afternoon and even borrowed space in the fridge for our dinner leftovers (which we enjoyed on the ferry going home). The staff was very attentive, hotel was historic, but updated and clean, and it was a perfect location. I would recommend this spot to our friends, and we plan to stay again when we return to Florida. Thanks!!

This was our third time visiting Key West and staying at the Cypress House Hotel. We thoroughly enjoy it there from service with Craig at check in to complimentary breakfast and conversation with Melissa as well as cocktails in the evening. Only thing I wish would’ve been different is that we could have had a room in the main house. I made reservations in Jan for a July stay and informed them we were on motorcycles and would like a room in the main house as it’s difficult to unload and load the luggage from a motorcycle while having to walk any distance. Unfortunately, this request was not accommodated. At least, they did have a gravel lot where we could park.

This was my first trip down to the Keys, and I could not have been happier with our stay at Cypress House Hotel. The location was perfect! It was in walking distance to all the major shops, bars, and restaurants, yet tucked away enough to enjoy the serenity of the island.  The room was exceptionally clean and spacious; it included all the amenities we needed for a five day stay, effortlessly accommodated our, admittedly, overzealous packing, and we never felt overcrowded or confined. We were fortunate enough to have the room with the private balcony facing the street, which was a perfect place to enjoy early morning coffee and evening cocktails. The process for checking-in and out was simple and fast, and the entire staff was welcoming and accommodating. The free breakfast included a wide array of items, and the evening appetizers and cocktails added an additional special touch to the overall experience. I look forward to staying at Cypress House Hotel in the future and absolutely recommend this property to others!

The staff were very courteous and responsive and made it a very pleasant experience.  The outdoor area was very well kept, and the pool was great.  The room was large and very comfortable and quiet!  I would definitely recommend this place to our friends and would totally stay there again.

Our stay at the Cypress House Hotel was perfect. When we arrived the staff member who checked us in was friendly and knowledgeable. The check in process was easy. Our room was exactly as it appeared online. It was clean and the air conditioning kept up with the tropical summer weather. Our private balcony was fun to sit out on every night and absorb the sights and sounds of Key West. Other guests were quiet and respectful. The first morning we were there I went to ask the staff about a special package we had booked when we made out reservations.  It was not documented on the reservation, but she simply added it.  With our package we got free tickets to 2 area attractions.  We used our passed to go to the Ernest Hemingway House and the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum.  Both places were really interesting and added value to our 5-night stay. One evening I locked us out of our room, with the deadbolt locked from the inside. It was about 20 minutes before the hotel staff was to go home.  I went down and let him know.  He was very understanding and called the maintenance guy from another property.  He came over, by now it was after he should have been gone for the day, and unlocked our door.  He was very cordial and seemed happy to help. The pool at the property was so relaxing!  There was rarely another person or couple in the pool.  It was a great place to spend the afternoon before heading out to Duval Street for the night.  The hotel is within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go.  We appreciated its close proximity to the harbor. Everyone we interacted with from the Cypress House Hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating.  We will be back for sure!
