My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent one week stay.  We traveled with friends who had booked their room at a nearby luxury hotel.  We thought of staying there, but after seeing Cypress House Hotel on the website, we took a chance.  Boy, did we make the right move!

The other hotel was much more expensive and lacked the personal touches of the staff, the delicious breakfast (which was more than continental), the tasty food and drinks at happy hour and the wonderful covered patio by the pool of which we took frequent advantage.  Little details were not missed.  We had 2 days of rain and Cypress House had complimentary ponchos for their guests.

Melissa checked us in and was a superb guide to all the island had to offer.  Her suggestions never let us down and her friendly demeanor made us feel so comfortable and right at home.

Our room was spacious and clean and the mini fridge was a good addition.  We will definitely recommend the Cypress House Hotel to any friends and family visiting Key West.

What a great place to stay!  Staff were fantastic – so friendly and helpful.  The maintenance guys even lead me to the parking lot and then drove me back in their golf cart.  Location was perfect – only a block walk to Duval but far enough away to not be too noisy at night.  The room was very clean and updated and still retained the charm of old Key West.  The included breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of items on offer.  Would definitely recommend and will certainly stay again on our return to Key West in the future.

Just steps from the tourist shops, bars, and restaurants dotting Duval Street, and a short stroll to Mallory Square, the Cypress House Hotel manages to be a quiet respite to an exciting Key West vacation destination. Checking in to this Key West Hotel was a breeze and the concierge provided us a brief tour of the grounds, offered up ideas for things to do, and suggested places for us to go. And because the hotel isn’t very big, we were always greeted by a familiar face when coming or going, or during breakfast or ‘Liming Hour’–the latter, a souvenir we returned home with. Liming Hour offered a different complimentary cocktail and snack each afternoon (our favorite was the Cypress punch) and made for the perfect time to come home from a busy day out, relax by the pool for a bit, and then clean up and head out for the evening.

The rooms were also fantastic. They were updated to be more contemporary but retained some of their original charm (the building itself was from the 19th century). Everything was open, bright, and breezy, making the need for AC pretty limited against the Florida sun.

We can’t wait to go back to the Cypress House Hotel. The combination of location, service, and the hotel itself put our four-day vacation over the top. Highly recommend the Cypress House Hotel for your next visit.

We just got back from staying at Cypress House Hotel for 2 nights and had a great time! The location was great -close enough to Duval but away from the noise! It was an easy walk to Mallory Square and surrounded by great restaurants. My parents had a room with a balcony and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning and night! Although we did not take advantage of the pool, we enjoyed the outdoor courtyard area. The breakfast was good and the “liming” happy hour was a great bonus! We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Key West!

We’ve been to Key West numerous times and this was our first stay at a boutique hotel.  We were very pleased with our accommodations.  We were able to check in a little early and the staff was very professional and helpful.  We really enjoyed our room location right next to the pool.  The room was very clean and comfortable.  The housekeeping staff was wonderful.  We found out about a restaurant (Latitudes) on Sunset Key and took a boat ride there for lunch one day and thought it was spectacular!!!  We would definitely recommend the Cypress House Hotel to a friend and look forward to coming back and staying here in the future!!

We spent 4 days and 3 nights in the main house at the Cypress House Hotel and loved it. The hotel is located just a short walk from all of the great bars and restaurants that Key West has to offer. The staff was always friendly and accommodating and the entire complex was great. Our room had a porch overlooking Caroline where we drank coffee every morning. We enjoyed time at the pool every day and the happy hour each night was a great hit with a different appetizer and specialty drink offered each evening. We’ve stayed in a number of places in Key West and Cypress House Hotel has been our favorite.

We reserved three rooms for a long weekend to celebrate a 45th wedding anniversary, my daughter’s wedding and my son’s 35th birthday.  The staff was great and very helpful.  Although we have been to Key West many times, this was our first stay at the Cypress House Hotel.  The location was great for us and was a nice home base for all of our events.  The staff recommended who to use for jet skiing, rent a 6 person vehicle and even helped when our taxi left when we needed to get to the wedding!  Our rooms were nice – here are my recommendations on a couple of things.  Bottled water in the room would have been nice, and add another waste basket in the main room.

Thank you for contributing to an amazing weekend with our kids – it was awesome!

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our Honeymoon and we are really kicking ourselves for not staying the whole time.  We loved everything about your hotel (besides parking, but that’s Key West for you!)  The pool, happy hour and room was great.  We really loved how close we were to everything.  Thanks for making our honeymoon great!

My husband and I spent 5 nights  at the Cypress House Hotel and it was lovely.  Waking up to a hot coffee and yummy treats (always including something warm… eggs, oatmeal etc…) and sitting by the pool was such a nice way to start the day.  And each evening we enjoyed the mini happy hour by the pool with a yummy treat and a fun drink before the easy walk into town for dinner and evening fun.

Perfect location to everything!  We walked or biked for 5 days… no need for a car here!  Everyone was friendly and helpful… oh and our beautiful room with 12 foot ceilings, fans,  a/c and plenty of space was a great retreat for an afternoon doze and a good night’s sleep!
