We stayed at Cypress House for three nights. our room by the pool was excellent. The location of the hotel was easy to see everything we wanted. The staff wowed us: Melissa and Chris were very accommodating. we left a pillow behind and before we got home we had a call advising us and assuring us how we could get it to our home in Naples. That topped it all off for a great stay.

I recently stayed at the Cypress House Hotel while in Key West for a friends wedding.  I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel.  All the staff was so nice and beyond, helpful.  I had to book a Sunset Boat Tour for the wedding guests and Brian (I hope I remembered his name correctly) went way above and beyond in helping me.  He told me about the various different boats; what they offered;  and he called several of them for me asking for prices and availability.  He even called me on my cell phone later to see if I decided on one.  He couldn’t have done anything more to help with that “undertaking” !

I loved sitting next to the pool while eating breakfast, it was so relaxing.  Everything was very clean, in the room and around the property.

I would highly recommend the Cypress House Hotel and look forward to my next visit to Key West!

We were doing a three week roadtrip through the whole South-East of the USA and Cypress House remains by far the highlight of the trip and other hotels, even such as Hiltons, pale in comparison. We were very warmly welcomed by Dennis and Danielle both of whom genuinely made us feel extremely comfortable and at home.

The Hotel is located in a quieter street but in walking distance to pretty much all main attractions and main streets of Key West, making it ideal to visit the Key and what is has to offer. Very decently priced for Key West, the rooms are modern, quiet, very comfortable, GREAT bathrooms and you will have pretty much anything you could need to enjoy your stay there, but upped a notch.

Breakfast was varied and offered a good selection of cold and warm options. There is a happy hour with a snack every day which is definitely a fun and cosy way to enjoy mid-afternoon around the pool.

The Cypress House Hotel comes very highly recommended from someone who had his fair share of hotels/motels/inns experiences and I will definitely come back when I travel back to Key West.

We came to Key West the first week in May for four days and picked the Cypress House based on info on the internet. We were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed at the registration desk and shown all the amenities of the bed and breakfast. We were then shown to our room that was lovely. It was around 4:30, “Liming Hour” so we had a few drinks and something to eat then off to our favorite bar, Schooner’s Wharf Bar. The Cypress House is conveniently located near the wharf and just a few blocks from Duval Street. If you are into quirkiness don’t miss Blue Heaven for breakfast or lunch. Our favorite place to eat dinner is A&B Lobster House. We like to eat upstairs for the view.

I highly recommend the Cypress House Hotel for the location, for the friendliness of the staff, breakfast is filling and tasty and the Liming Hour is fun and the beginning of Key West sunset festivities. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Key West.

We had a great time in room 5. Very nice accommodations and a big porch, walking distance from Duval street, yet much quieter. Will definitely stay here again.

Once again in true Key West style, Cypress House Hotel exceeded my expectations with attentive and thoughtful service.  I arrived on Sunday evening, and the gentleman at the desk greeted me with a “Welcome Back.”  It made me smile, and it felt like I was returning home.

The atmosphere of calm and tranquility was like an invisible hand on my shoulder reassuring that for a little while there were no burdens to contend with.

While checking in, which was quick and smooth, I enjoyed a glass of lemon water which is always available by the inviting pool area. My room was perfect. It was so inviting; I almost did not want to go out. But what a perfect spot, so close to so many entertaining and traditional thought provoking experiences.

There are many excellent places to dine and one of my favorites, Michael’s, is a comfortable walk with lots to see on the way. Also just three blocks away are two more of my favorites.  Two Friends and Shots & Giggles.  Two Friends serves and entertains all day, every day and you may catch a live radio breakfast show on every other Friday. For a night cap, Shots & Giggles is the place to meet locals and enjoy true Key West night lifestyle.

I only wish I could have stayed longer, but no worries.  I will return for many more visits and stay at the Cypress House Hotel as my first choice.

As a footnote, I have been visiting Key West since 1979, and the Cypress House is among the very best.  Hats off to the ownership, management and staff … and Thank You to them!

We recently spent 4 nights at the Cypress House on Caroline St. We originally chose this hotel for it’s location and history. What found exceeded our expectations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a minor mishap and cut myself and the staff was very helpful and caring. The location is close to Mallory, Duval, and the Marina so we never used our car the whole time, saving trying to find a parking spot which can be hard in Key West.

I highly recommend staying here when you come to Key West!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Cypress House. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and spacious, the bed great. We stayed in a king balcony suite right on the front corner of the hotel. We loved it. Other reviewers have complained about some noise from Caroline Street, but we enjoyed being the midst of everything and people watching from our porch at night! We would definitely stay there again in the same suite.

This hotel was a wonderful addition to our trip.  It was clean, staff was attentive and hospitable, the property was well-maintained, and the rooms were serene. Melissa was very welcoming and called to double check our arrival, as a portion of our party had already arrived.  Scott was great on checking us into our rooms and helping to explain the property.  Throughout the visit, all staff was responsive to any questions or concerns.  The location was quiet and relaxing.  This is a property that I would definitely recommend to others and I would love another opportunity to visit another of their Historic Key West Inns hotels!!
