It was a short stay, but we’ll be back! The location was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was beautiful.

Our two night stay by far exceeded our expectations.  Dennis was working during most of our stay and he was the friendliest and most helpful host we have EVER experienced, while traveling. We also had  brief interactions with Julie and Christine- and they were also fantastic!  What an amazingly wonderful staff you have!  Please pass along our gratitude to each of them-as they contributed greatly to our “perfect vacation”.  Very well maintained pool/breakfast area and our room was very clean and comfortable- oh and HUGE- we so much appreciated the upgrade!!  Loved breakfast and the way it was presented each morning!  We also really enjoyed the “liming hour”.  It was a wonderful way to start each evening.  Thank you!  We loved everything about the hotel and our only suggestion would to be “keep doing what you’re doing!  You’ve got it right!!”

The Cypress House far and away exceeded our expectations. We had originally booked a room at the Lighthouse Court Hotel but due to work obligations had to reschedule our trip. The Lighthouse was booked the week we wanted to reschedule but they were kind enough to hook us up with the Cypress House and it worked out even better. We had the most fantastic room, large, stylish, and a HUGE shower. Could not ask for anything more. We loved the happy hour ‘Liming’ at the pool as well, really added a cool touch. If you are looking for low key, laid back, close to EVERYTHING, and super classic Key West, look no further than the Cypress House. We can’t wait to come back.

We  just returned from our first Key West adventure. Our room was great, always clean, and cool. The staff was so helpful. They helped with excursions and dining. Dennis was so great. He was a joy. We never had breakfast because we enjoyed going to Pepe’s. However, the evening drinks and snacks at the Liming were great. Great time to meet other guests. We enjoyed ourselves and would come back again. We would gladly recommend this hotel collection to anyone. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

The Cypress House and staff exceeded my expectations.  This historic house is centrally located in Old Town, we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do.

The Cypress staff was always friendly and helpful.  Our room was always cleaned in a timely manner.   This is the only place we will stay when visiting Key West.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was courteous, but Danielle made our stay very special.  Please tell her thank you for the suggestion for our fortieth anniversary dinner.  The  arrangements she made for our evening were outstanding and the champagne when we returned made the night unforgettable. It was no lie to say you are in the middle of everything. If we ever get to return, we will definitely stay here. Our thanks again, especially to Danielle.

Thank you for a great stay, staff was excellent and very helpful. They handled my request of a “flat” pillow without a blink! Would recommend without reservation!

We stayed two nights at the Cypress House on a trip down from Ft. Myers Beach. (we took the Key West Express)
The location of the Cypress House is absolutely ideal, and we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a Queen room (#13) which was very small but cutely decorated and remodeled, and it was very private, which was great. Room #13 has it’s own gated deck adjacent to the pool area, but the fence is 6 feet high and solid, so we felt nicely isolated in our own little corner of the property. Breakfast was tasty, the service was friendly, although we were a bit underwhelmed by the “happy hour”………no big deal, we went in with no expectations for that.
One minor hiccup that we had was our smoke detector was chirping at us the first night in the room. We had to call maintenance at 11pm when we returned from Duval Street and they arrived very efficiently to change out the battery. Unfortunately, it continued to chirp intermittently for the rest of the night which was a little frustrating. I told Dennis about it in the morning, and he had a new one installed for us by that evening. It was nobody’s fault, and was just a quirky problem that the staff took care of.

We rented bikes for the duration of our stay in Key West, which was ABSOLUTELY the best way to get around. They are more efficient than walking, so you can cover all the ground you need to cover to see everything, but there are no parking challenges that you would encounter with a car. We also rented an electric car for a half-day, which was kind of fun, but logistically it was a pain in the butt due to parking.

Back to the Cypress House, they did a nice job and were priced similarly to other options we explored, and like I said originally their location is SO perfect. If we return to Key West, we would not hesitate to stay at the Cypress House again.

Let me say that I was very happy with my selection to stay at The Cypress House, in Key West.  It was the first time my husband and I stayed at a bed and breakfast.  We were more than happy with the place.  The location is great for someone who doesn’t want to be right next to Duval Street but yet close enough to walk to everything.   The location is a plus.  Breakfast and the Liming Happy Hour was great everyday too.  The only suggestion I would make is if there could be someway to put chase lounges by the pool.  Even one or two just to give folks that want to lay in the sun an option.  Other than that I wouldn’t change a thing.

I, personally, am a people person so your staff from the front desk to the person helping out in the kitchen was exceptionally helpful and genuinely nice.   I plan to revisit Key West someday and I hope my future experience is as good as this one.

Loved the ‘Liming’ happy hour by the pool. When we return to The Keys we will surely come back. Great location.
