Thanks to the Cypress House, we had a fabulous first trip to Key West!  From the moment we arrived, the staff was so inviting.  We actually felt like we were staying with old friends.  The rooms were spacious and clean and have so much character.  The breakfast selections were great.  Each morning we had something new to look forward too.  We never wanted to go anywhere else in the mornings.  The liming hour is an event not to be missed, although it took us a day to catch on. Cypress House is also in a premiere location.  It is within walking distance of everything Key West has to offer.  This was our first trip to Key West and hopefully not our last.

We were in town for a wedding. Stayed 2 nights. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice considering it was spring break. Even though the hotel was fully booked you didn’t have people “hanging out” and being disruptive.

Great poolside drinks and breakfast. We were on the third floor which was fine. My only suggestion would be to please put up some darker light blocking shades. All the windows with shades made it impossible to sleep past 8, which is nice to do on a vacation.

Our stay at Cypress House was lovely!  We were the first to arrive and our room was unexpectedly upgraded to a beautiful King suite – wonderfully decorated with a great view.  The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave us great recommendations on places to eat.  We loved the “Liming Hour”, it was such a nice touch and made this inn special.  The breakfast was more than we expected and the food was great.  The location of Cypress House was perfect and we appreciated being able to leave our things after check-out, so we could continue our visit to Key West before our boat left.  Overall it was a great get-away to a new place made special by our stay.  We would definitely recommend the Cypress House to others and plan to stay there again next time we visit Key West!

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great experience at the Cypress House. The location is terrific. It’s a great balance between convenience (close to just about everything) yet still quiet enough to enjoy. We live only a few hour’s drive from Key West so we tend to visit a few times per year. This was our first stay at the Cypress House and I think we have found our new home away from home! Very friendly staff, clean/comfortable rooms and wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend! We sprang for the upgrade and had a very nice porch right on Caroline Street, which I highly recommend. It was great to sit outside and relax.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. A perfect location as it’s close enough to minimize walking to Duval or Mallory Square, but not so close that  you hear all the bar crowds. The happy hour offering was delicious and a wonderful way to start our evening each night! The breakfast was also nice with a good variety of options! Our only concern was the street noise, as our room was on the outside and the traffic noise did wake  us up a few times, but that is out of their control. That being said we would stay again in a heartbeat…we’d just remember ear plugs next time.

In 2014 we stayed at your Cypress House location,… we also chose to stay this february 2015 as well. Cypress House and its staff are everything a Key West vacation should be! The historic home has been beautifully updated with all modern amenities. The pool, the private balconies and porches, and lounge area all are great. The mornings began with a generous breakfast, and by the afternoon, the happy hour drinks and snacks were very much enjoyed…. all gratis too !! I will be coming back here for a long time, and sending many friends and relatives your way as well.

Thank you, Brent and Diana Delaney

Stayed at the Cypress House over Valentine’s weekend. We had a blast. The location is outrageous!! It is so convenient and close to all the action. The staff was over the top friendly and nice and it was the best Key West experience I have ever had, and I have had many!! I hope to return in the near future as I am a florida resident and it is very doable!!

My wife and I had a great experience at the Cypress House in Key West.  The venue was clean, professional and well taken care of.  The staff were all professional and friendly.  ‘Chris’ who took care of us during check-in and throughout our stay, answered any questions we had, helped us arrange for bicycle rentals and made a cab reservation for us on our final day.  We really loved the balcony room we had, a nice front porch that was comfortable, private enough for “I’m going to sit on the porch in my underwear tonight”, but close enough to the action where we could people watch and enjoy the tropical feel and foliage.  We enjoyed our sunset cruise, dinner at La Te Da and just strolling the streets.  We would certainly recommend your establishment to friends.  We are already planning next winters vacation, maybe we will see you again!

We stayed at the Cypress House from Saturday Feb 28 to Mar 5.  It was a great vacation week.  We are from Naples and while I’ve traveled to Key West for many years on “man-cations” this was the first time for my girlfriend and I.  I try to stay in different hotels and B&Bs in Key West each time I go because each is so different and unique.

I must say, without a doubt, the Cypress House is BY FAR, one of the nicest B&Bs I’ve ever stayed at in Key West.  INCREDIBLY simple things that meant a TON to a seasoned KW vacationer and a newbie.  AWESOME breakfast and “liming hour”.  This is the 1st B&B that has a “real” breakfast.  Not plastic wrapped pastries, stale bagels, and watery coffee.  “Liming” hour is a concept we brought back to Naples and now incorporate into our day after work. The staff (especially when we checked in – Scott and Chris) were always VERY attentive and constantly asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. Room and housekeeping were attentive as needed.  We were in the main house (room #1).  The only 2 minor constructive feedback points I would have is that I was hoping the kitchen would be open (at least to the inside house guests 24×7) but it was locked on both sides at night. I get it – but it would have been nice to borrow the main fridge for large leftovers that didn’t fit in the room fridge.  Also, nice to have access to wine/champagne glasses.  Second – would have liked the main doors to the house to be locked at night – not just closed.  We felt very safe but it was also spring break week and there were more than a few “unruly youths” passing by the Inn that concerned my girlfriend a couple times.  Overall, outstanding.  I would like to visit 1 of their other historic key west inns hotels as well but could def see ourselves returning to the Cypress House.  Thanks for the great memories.
