We stayed here for 3 days in Oct 2013. It was a great place. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. We loved that everything was so close. We walked everywhere except for the beach. The boardwalk and Old Town were very accessible. Would absolutely stay at Cypress House again.

Just wanted to let you know that we had a great experience at the Cypress House.  Chris is a great guy and a ton of help with everything.  We come down to Key West yearly for our fix and we have never stayed in the same place twice.  That has now changed and we will be back!!  We just might have found our perfect spot in Key West.  The location is awesome so close to the best part of Duval and the marina.

Have a great winter and see you next year,

Ron and Joann Piechowski

This is our third year staying at Key West and we always stay at a Bed & Breakfast. The Cypress House by far has been the best, beautiful rooms that are up to date, nice pool, eating area and great location.

Chris that works at the front desk was friendly and always was there with help when needed, the only thing that I saw was that he was manning the front desk and had to clear the tables after breakfast while some of the girls working in the kitchen were not around.

Only other minor suggestion would be to upgrade your WI-FI, I had to use my hotspot since I always lost connection, even though I am on vacation I have to sometimes connect at work.

We stayed at your sister property the Chelsea House last year and they need to take a lesson from the Cypress House on how to run a Bed & Breakfast, the Cypress House is far superior!

I have been staying at the Cypress House for over five years now. My main offices are in Miami but we have offices in KW as well and I get down there about every 4-6 weeks.

I love what your company has done to upgrade and renovate the place. Chris, Dennis and Scott are always pleasant and helpful with my reservations and comfort while I am there. You are lucky to have them as employees in your organization. I will continue to stay at Cypress and may try some of the other properties in the future just for a change. Our contract will be renewed very soon for another 7-8 years and I look forward to continuing my stays with your properties.

Thanks very much for making me feel at home away from home every time I am in KW.

Definitely enjoyed our stay.  Location was fantastic, so close to all the action, but just far enough off the beaten path to feel like you stepped away from it.  Room was very nice, appeared newly renovated or decorated.  Fridge, microwave, flat screen tv.  Bathroom was small and lacking towel bars, even for hand towels, and with little counter space, it would be a welcome improvement.  Our only complaint was the lack of shampoo and towels during our stay.  Two people for four nights and we were never given any more toiletries after the first night.  Each day we were given one towel each.  The pool was nice and we enjoyed the ‘Liming’ with the other guests.  Would stay here or try another property without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time in your hotel.  Check in & out with Scott was an ease.  He also provided useful local information for us as well.  Happy hour ‘Liming’ was extra special everyday.  Our room was very nice with a bed that felt like home.  I understand that the bathrooms were recently updated and they were elegant and enjoyed as well.  Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we thank you for good hospitality.  We will return and stay again!

We are full time Upper Keys residents who enjoying visiting KW several times a year.  We try to select a different historical inn each time and decided on the Cypress House for our visit in August.  We enjoyed the inn so much that we came back 8 weeks later for a long weekend.  Great location, nice breakfast presentation,  beautiful rooms, well maintained property and the most important-the staff.   Everyone was so friendly, helpful and provided outstanding customer service (something that is a rarity these days).   We learned the true meaning of “liming”  We are planning another trip in November.  See you then.

Perfect location. Had the two room suite. It was perfect for two adults – loved the bedroom convenience for privacy. Good breakfast, very nice staff. Close to Duval and many other enjoyable restaurants and bars. We will stay there again!

We loved our stay at Cypress House!  The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, bathroom was huge, and everything was clean.  Breakfast was delicious and I loved that it was always a hot meal that was clearly made in the kitchen.

The only thing I didn’t absolutely love is the window unit in the room.  I had a cold on this trip and the non-stop forced cold air didn’t help matters.  However, this was a unique situation so didn’t really affect my view of the property.  I totally understand keeping the historic structure in place and adding central air is a huge undertaking.

Loved it, and we will absolutely be back.  Probably for our anniversary next year :-)

We stayed at Cypress House over Labor Day weekend in a historic king with private porch accommodation. The room was the entire front half of the first floor of a historical home and the porch ran all the way across and had wicker furniture. It was behind a white fence with beautiful shrubbery and a brick walkway that complimented the historical setting. The room was very spacious with a small wet bar (refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker) and a full size bathroom. There was also a small table for two to eat on if you wanted but we found the porch table too tempting to stay inside. The room is clean, clean, clean and the bed (king w/ 6 excellent pillows) feels and smells wonderful. They have a lap pool that is very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was a good start, not a bed and breakfast quality but certainly better that the usual continental. Afternoon free cocktails and appetizers were a great addition. Location is perfect for coming by ferry and Duval Street is only one block away allowing easy access to everything while having a quiet escape to come back to.
