We had a great two night stay at the Cypress House Hotel. Melissa at the front desk went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.  The entire staff was friendly, courteous and went the extra mile.  The location and amenities were ideal, within walking distance to all of the great restaurants and attractions.  The rooms were clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for such an historic structure.  We will certainly recommend Cypress House to others and will stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cypress House. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. One morning I arrived at breakfast about 5 minutes too late but they were more than willing to allow me to eat and repeatedly asked before putting food away if I wanted any.  I really appreciated this as I was starving that morning and upset when I thought I missed the complementary breakfast. The breakfast selection also exceeded expectations with both hot and cold items.  Our room was spacious and clean and the entire B&B had a quaint historic feel to it.

Two suggestions: hang full length mirrors in each guest room so girls can check their outfits (because girls like to look at themselves)  Also, include a shower caddy or somewhere to hang wash clothes in the shower.

Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Cypress House is a beautiful hotel and the location couldn’t be better! Within walking to distance to EVERYTHING! Had a blast at Irish Kevin’s, the Green Parrot, and every other bar on Duval. Mallory Square is a must at Sunset. The Fury Double Dip Snorkle trip was AMAZING! We saw so many kinds of fish, turtles, even a small reef shark. If you make the trip to Key West you must take a snorkle trip! Alonzo’s, on the boardwalk, has a wonderful Happy Hour with 1/2 price appetizers, Oysters, and drinks, it runs from 4-6. The Cypress House staff was VERY friendly! Check In was quick, Check Out was even quicker, rooms were very clean and nice! We would love to come back and will definitely recommend to friends and family!

We stayed at Cypress House Hotel for three nights in June 2015. From the time we checked in till the time we checked out, Cypress House Hotel exceeded our expectations ! The rooms were clean, comfortable and loved the breakfasts and happy hour! Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the convenience to all the action on Duval Street!  Would love to stay here when we return!

I usually stay on the south side but I needed some time alone so I opted for something different.  From the moment I arrived, the staff was friendly, professional and fun.  What I didn’t expect and almost took my breathe away was the history and condition of the house and property. From the moment I stepped on the front porch I was blown away by how beautifully maintained the house was. It was like stepping back in time. The place was immaculate.  It was clean and seemed to sustain its historical roots.  I was in room 6. I felt like I was returning to my childhood home. I felt so safe and happy there. What else can I say, the food was awesome. I will definitely be returning.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cypress House.  Beginning with the call to make the reservations, everyone was very nice.  The rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. I would like to acknowledge Chris. He checked us in and was more than accommodating. I was allergic to the coconut in the happy hour cocktail and he made my husband and I a separate drink. He brought my dad bug spray when he saw him swatting his legs. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit.

The staff at Cypress House made our first trip to Key West very relaxing. They were very informative on what to do and where to go as well as the history of the area. Upon check out we were informed a room had become available for another night…it was quite difficult for me to say no to staying one more night but had to pass on it.  I look forward to our next trip!

Thank you!

I could not have asked for better when staying at the Cypress House Hotel and better means everything; the service, friendly staff, cleanliness of not just the room but the grounds as well & the breakfast & happy hour were more than expected.  We had not stayed here previously and will definitely make this our go to place to stay.  It’s location is excellent for walking to most any where.  We had a great time & will definitely be back to the Cypress House Hotel!

Unfortunately for us, we only stayed one night at the Cypress House.  Our group of 6 (3 couples) all agreed that the hotel and staff was so nice, we wished we had allocated more time to stay.  The location is perfect, I believe being only one or two blocks from Duval St.

Our room was downstairs with a nice porch and comfortable chairs to lounge on.  Inside, the room was huge, very clean, and nicely decorated, making one feel right at home.  Lots of old style charm.  If you like late 18th century architecture, this place has it!  The bathroom appeared to have been updated fairly recently and was also very nice/clean.

Breakfast was plenty adequate with a nice selection and variety.  All of the staff was super nice, but I was especially impressed with Chris.  He was so attentive that he saw me swatting mosquitoes while I was having breakfast by the pool and immediately brought me some repellant.  I didn’t even expect that!  No worries about mosquitoes for most folks.  I’m one of those unfortunates that seem to attract them.  No one else in my group had a problem.

We hope to someday make it back to Key West and will definitely stay at the Cypress House.
