The Key Lime Inn was quaint and accommodating! The location is great. You can walk almost anywhere in 10-20  minutes! We stayed in one of the stand alone cottages. It was private and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was great! We enjoyed the pool and hammock too! I wish there was a bar on the property but if that’s my only complaint I think we’re good to go!

We stayed 4 nights in Unit number 12. It was on the second floor and we shared a balcony with another room. We sat there and enjoyed our wonderful coffee each morning and listened to the church bells and watched the birds and the iguanas. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and pleasant. We liked having a small safe in the room so we could leave cash and wander the streets. It’s convenient to everything. The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. We’d stay there again. It was a great getaway.

Stayed for one night. Great room, clean and modern. Private cottage feel although we shared a wall with another room. Loved the community feel in the cottages with common pool, breakfast and sitting areas. Would definitely stay again.

We drove into Key West on a whim, and came upon a The Key Lime Inn. My wife and I were fortunate to be able to book the last available cottage (#2). It was absolutely beautiful and located in a great location. We were able to walk to everything, but also far enough away for peace and quiet. The staff their were awesome, and also made it possible for us to extend our stay without having to relocate. We definitely found our place for our next Key West Visit!!

We simply love the Key Lime Inn! Perfectly located in historic downtown Key West, a simple walk everywhere. The grounds are well kept and have plenty of nooks to just relax and decompress (we love the hammock for afternoon naps)! The staff is always attentive and friendly, Key Lime is our home away from home in Key West!

We loved every minute of our stay at The Key Lime Inn. From the moment we checked in we felt part of the family and not just a visitor. Everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and passionate. Thank you for being a part of pur adventure.

My daughter and I spent one night at the Key Lime Inn, and we were very satisfied.  The location is perfect–close to Duval but away from the noise.  The inn is quiet, the room very nice–no noise from outside, and the place clean and comfortable.  Breakfast was satisfactory, pleasantly served near the pool.  We enjoyed our time there and would recommend the inn.

The hotel was a beautiful surprise.  We didn’t know what to expect when we made the reservation, but the pictures on the web don’t do it justice. The bungalow and the pool area were perfect.  The continental breakfast in the morning was superb.  My dad and sister walked to Mallory Square and both said the walk was beautiful.  Thank you for a great weekend!

We enjoyed our trip to Key West and the Key Lime Inn.  Having never been to Key West we really didn’t know what to expect, and weren’t disappointed.  When we checked into the Key Lime Inn, we were greeted, got some of our questions answered on where to start our visit, and directed to our room.  The air conditioning unit servicing the room was rather loud (although we didn’t complain as there really wasn’t anything that could be done to mask the sound).  The room was spacious and well appointed.  We had a room with a shared deck and met a nice couple from Chicago later in our stay.

There were two things that disappointed us about the Key Lime Inn (in addition to the noisy AC unit), one was the quality of the continental breakfast.  For the price that we paid for our stay, we thought that something better could be done.  Bagels, toast, cold cereal, and hard boiled eggs don’t cut it in our book.  We’ve traveled a lot and had much better (we ended up going out to breakfast several days of our visit).  The second thing was having to pay for parking (we did know going in we’d have to pay).  Again, for the price paid for the room, parking could be thrown in.

As for favorite restaurants, Firefly Key West was great, as was Santiago’s Bistro.  Both were excellent, with great service and great food.

Would we come back the Key Lime Inn (or one of the sister properties) or recommend it/them to a friend?  Probably, yes.  There are just a few things we think could be improved upon, to make the guests stay just a bit more pleasant (not that it was all that bad to start).  Thanks for a great extended weekend!

The room was very clean. The breakfast by the pool was also very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also gave us some local recommendations. Overall I was impressed.
