Have stayed at the Key Lime Inn twice now and have loved it each time! Clean room and really relaxing environment. We love staying here and will return. There is nothing we can say negative about our experiences both times!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Key Lime Inn. The entire property had a very welcoming and relaxed feeling.  Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor amenities to include the tree swing and pool. Breakfast by the pool was a nice touch. We loved how the inn was within easy walking distance to all the popular sites. Evening walks down Duval Street are always entertaining. Out favorite restaurant was Better Than Sex which has amazing desserts and is located on Truman Ave within easy walking distance.

My wife and I had a fantastic time at the Key Lime Inn.  I would definitely suggest it to anyone going to Key West.  Pool was great, breakfast sufficient, and room was large.

The only suggestions that I have is the safe was too small to put anything in.  It may be time to update.  Also there are not enough hooks in the bathroom for towels but there is ton’s of space.  Very inexpensive fix and would be helpful.

We would stay again.

The location was great and we walked everywhere, from the Southernmost Point up to Mallory Square.  Although the room was small and there wasn’t much surface space in the bathroom, it was cosy and clean plus it was nice to have a little private patio with chairs.  It would have been a plus to have a fridge in our type of room but we made do with getting ice from the machine.  We only stayed one night (wish it was longer) but all the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful.  The breakfast was plentiful but had too much unhealthy sugary items in my opinion.  It was nice sitting by the pool in the morning.  We really enjoyed our stay and am glad we chose lovely Key Lime Inn instead of a chain hotel.

  • Location is great.  We were in #12 of Key Lime and although the road and neighbors were noisy on a few occasions, it was a fairly private location with a nice balcony were we sat enjoying the weather and view of the trees.
  • Room was nice.  At first it was stuffy but we threw open the 1 door and 1 window that opened to get fresh air and turned the ceiling fan on.  We left the window and door open most of the time until the humidity rose the last day of our stay.  It would be nice if the room had more natural ventilation.
  • Suggestion — turn the AC and lights off in unoccupied rooms to be more “green”, esp the AC when the temps are less than 80F.   And, provide an option for just coffee replacement — towels and sheets don’t need to be replaced each day.  (Note from the Key Lime Inn staff: lights and air conditioning are turned on in a room when we are expecting a guest to check in; guests prefer to arrive and relax in a cool, inviting room. Our green policy is that we change sheets for the guests every third day unless there is obvious need beforehand or a request by the guest to change them daily)
  • All the STAFF were GREAT —  friendly and helpful.

I highly recommend the Key Lime Inn. Everyone on the staff was extremely helpful, especially Clement, who was so welcoming and offered wonderful local recommendations.

The rooms are spacious, clean and very inviting. The pool area is very tranquil and relaxing.

I would recommend anyone in town have dinner at Louie’s Backyard for a great meal at a romantic spot.

Overall, I had a great stay at Key Lime Inn and will defiantly be back!

My wife and I have visited Key West two to three times a year for the past six years, and this is our second stay at Key Lime Inn. It is becoming our favorite and we are already discussing our next trip. Every staff member we encountered was fantastic, from the time we checked in until the day we left. Very welcoming and friendly. We stayed 5 nights and the room was quite comfortable for our length of stay. The room was clean and inviting. The bedding was also very fresh and comfortable. We love the location, too. Everything we did was within walking or biking distance. I really can’t think of anything negative to report. We will certainly look at this property first when booking our next Key West visit. Highly recommend it.

The room is spacious and clean, the decor has a tropical flare, maintaining a sense of warmth and elegance.  Location is ideal, quiet but a quick walk and you’re on Duval Street.

My daughter and I just spent two nights at the Key Lime Inn.  The room was charming and the facilities were great.  We enjoyed our daily breakfast by the pool and the onsite bike racks.

The entire staff was extremely helpful and attentive, sharing multiple recommendations.

The hotel is centrally located and a perfect spot for walking and biking through Key West.

This was a great place to stay! Some parts of the complex are historic. However, the place is updated to a high degree. It is across the street from the Catholic church and historic convent so there is no need to miss mass. The hotel is steps from the main Duval street and we walked to the beach at the state park. Other beaches were even closer. The sand is full of coral so water shoes might be helpful. The pool is great! Tons of seating! Tons of parking, but I had to walk a bit for the over flow parking. I had to take a taxi to Mallory Square (tons of fun and bars etc). It would be a longer walk for us. I was it was less money at this hotel, but… it was the best value for us!
