Spent a night recently at the Key Lime Inn.  Great accommodations with even better customer service.  All of the staff was so friendly and helpful.  Would highly recommend!

For our one year anniversary, my wife and I decided to drive down to Key West. While searching hotels, we came across the Key Lime Inn. The hotel was reasonably priced and looked like a place we’d like to occupy for three days, so we booked it a few months prior to our stay.

Our stay at the Key Lime Inn was fantastic, to say the least. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful while checking in. They even recommended a place for us to rent bicycles (renting bikes is essential while vacationing in Key West)! The location was great! It took us no time to get anywhere we wanted to go on the island. Our rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. We chose not to have housekeeping clean our room, but they left fresh towels every day for us to use. The staff was also extremely helpful and swift when we left our keys in the room.

Restaurants I recommend eating while in Key West: Blue Heaven (best brunch and our favorite restaurant on the island), Better Than Sex (best dessert), Southernmost Beach Cafe, Fogarty’s, Caroline’s, Hogfish Bar & Grill, and you HAVE to get a Key Lime Pie dipped in chocolate from Kermit’s!

Best Bars: Green Parrot (our favorite), Bull & Whistle (go to the Garden of Eden if you dare), Sloppy Joe’s (classic place), Flying Monkeys (try the Grain Train), Cap’t Tony’s Saloon, and the Lazy Gecko.

Places to go: Hemingway House, Fort Zachary Beach, the Southernmost Point, snorkeling tour with Fury Water Adventures, and try to do a day tour to the Dry Tortugas.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Key West! The Key Lime Inn contributed to our amazing vacation and would stay there again (and plan on it)!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Key Lime Inn for 3 days and we couldn’t be more pleased with the room, grounds and staff. Our cottage was perfect for our needs and the property was well maintained and inviting. The staff was attentive, kind and knowledgeable. Our stay here made our first trip to Key West even more memorable.

We had a fantastic time during our four night stay. Hotel was close to everything so we walked everywhere. Our room was perfect, we stayed in queen size bed room and it was a private bungalow at far end of parking lot. Felt like our own little place in Key West. Will definitely come back again!

Our last visit was on April 1, 2015. Key Lime Inn is our favorite place to stay in Key West. It is close to attractions and the grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The people there go out of their way to make each guest feel special. I would especially like to mention Clement and David for their kind attention while we were there.

Our hope on this visit was to park the truck for 4 nights, kick back and explore on our bikes during the day and on foot at night. The KLI was perfect for this location-wise, and the entire staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Our room with the porch was immaculate and very comfortable. The morning breakfast by the pool was quite a nice way to start the day as well. We would recommend the Key Lime Inn to anyone planning a visit to Key West.

We had a wonderful experience here. Key Lime Inn is a charming hotel in a quiet area of town that’s within easy walking distance of Duval St. The staff was terrific and accomodated our (very) early check-in graciously. Nice pool, nice continental breakfast, easy free parking, convenient location, and lovely grounds with hammocks, swings, etc. Room had a comfortable bed, Keurig coffee machine, and small refrigerator. Would stay here again.

Additional information for Historic Key West Inns review:  Special thanks to Rafael who called the hotel directly to make sure we could check in early!  Check-in and check-out was very quick and easy; I wish I could remember the young lady’s name who checked us in and out because she was very nice.

This is a wonderful inn in a great location. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. There is a free breakfast in the morning that is good prior to heading out to do activities for the day. There is also a pool at the inn if you want to relax for the day.

Great location and a small little inn.  When we first arrived I was surprised at how small the inn was  (which was not bad at all) but a little disappointed in the size of our room.  I know they have larger more expensive rooms but I thought out queen room would be a little larger. We did not spend much time there so it ended up being a minor issue.  I loved the size of the pool, the breakfast was perfect and a very quiet location that was only a few blocks from Duval Street.  Carolines on Duval had the best mixed drinks out of anywhere on Duval.  When we checked in to our room we had no washcloths a few shower towels in our room.  We had two pool towels laying on our bed.  The next day we were fully stocked.  This is a place we would stay at again due to location and just how quaint it was (wood walkways and mulch was everywhere which we loved).
