My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at The Key Lime Inn in the heart of Old Town Key West.  The Key Lime Inn is located just a few blocks from the action and entertainment of Duval Street. We left our car parked at the Inn and walked everywhere we went.  We were greeted at check in by the friendly staff.  Joanne checked us in and was helpful with suggestions and directions for restaurants.  Our  room was a standard queen and exceeded my expectations as far as space and comfort.  The bed was very comfortable with soft linens, the bath towels were big and fluffy and the toiletries were an especially nice quality.  Large towels for the pool were also provided. The pool was large, very clean and inviting.  The surrounding grounds were well groomed, shaded by large trees and foliage and provided a quiet, restful haven.  The continental breakfast was served on the pool deck each morning with patio tables for seating, shaded by umbrellas. The breakfast breads and pastries came fresh from local bakeries. There were fresh fruits, yogurt, cereal, hard cooked eggs, milk, orange juice and coffee with all of the required condiments for an excellent breakfast for visitors on the go.  Nelie, the hostess at breakfast, was smiling and welcoming each morning providing assistance and clearing tables. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our visit! I would highly recommend The Key Lime Inn without hesitation and I would stay there again. Thank you for making our stay an enjoyable respite.

We stayed at this little gem on june 13-14th and had a delightful time. The place was very quiet and very close to Duval street, our room had a radio that had nature sounds to listen to and fall asleep with, was so relaxing, parking was no issue and the pool was nice, the breakfast was perfect and we’d love to come back again.

This place was a more authentic key west experience than the major chains and was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Nothing fancy, but got the job done. Unexpected problems were the lack of a refrigerator/microwave (very unfortunate!) and small ice machine.  Rooms were cleaned daily and satisfactory for the cheap price in key west.  Expected problem was the lack of parking.  We were reluctant to drive the car anywhere in the lower keys to explore for fear of not finding somewhere to park upon return.  Would probably stay again as we are snobs that require super high end accommodations and we had a great time during our visit.

I loved the little cottage!  The grounds are very nice at the Key Lime Inn and the location is within walking distance to Duval street so no driving required if you are able to walk.  There are not quite enough parking spaces available for one car per room.  I would also suggest you install towel racks and maybe a small table in the shower to place shampoo etc. on instead of having to put them on the floor.  Over all, a great little place to stay.

Our stay at key Lime Inn was pleasant. The check-in and check-out process was very fast. Also, all the staff at the hotel were very courteous and responsive. While our stay, we were in the room when housekeeping came for cleaning, she was accommodating and gave us privacy and came in later again after we moved out.

I would like to mention about the staff (lady) who was at the counter who completed our check in process at night, unfortunately I forgot her name, but she was very helpful to us. Not only was she aware about the local area but she also offered help to book the different tours for us, such as jet ski, snorkel and also provided us details of all the local restaurants since we were vegetarian. I would like to acknowledge her efforts. Thank you again Key Lime inn staff.

Regards,

Mona

We stayed at the Key Lime Inn for three nights during a weekend in June, 2014.  The room was small but quaint and very clean with modern furniture, comfortable mattress and clean bedding.  The pool was also well maintained.  The staff was warm and friendly.  The location of the Inn was perfect; not too far from Duval yet separate enough to enjoy a quiet, calm stay.  Overall the Inn was an adorable place to stay and we would most defiantly return.

This was my first visit back to the Keys in 17 years and our date of stay was June 4th to June 8th 2014.  I had considered many places to stay but I sure got things right when we chose the Key Lime Inn. It really had that Old Key west feeling with modern amenities .  One of the biggest selling points was free parking and free wi fi. At first there was no spot available for our car but as soon as one was available we were called by the front desk staff and was able to move our car to a spot less than 10 minutes of arrival . The location was outstanding and located close to a great dessert place called Better than Sex.  It was unique dining experience and you will need reservations or have an hour wait.  The INN is also  a midway point between Mallory Square and the Southernmost Point so I felt were we were close to everything the keys had to offer.  We felt totally safe and the staff, as well as the other guests, were very courteous. It was not a party place , but a place to really enjoy your down time and relax .  We had a cottage by the pool and I was worried about it being too loud but it was never an issue.   The staff was great in assisting with taxi service and even  provided us with delivery menus when we needed them for one night. My only sort of disappointment  was that you could not request a room. I had requested 4 different rooms and I received an email that it likely I would get one of the rooms I requested. On arrival I was given 36 and it was not one of the ones I had asked for but I really loved the room and was very  pleased. I think  it is a perfect spot for couples to kick back and relax.  I would recommend this to any friends making plans to go to key west. Also Louie’s After Deck remains one of my favorite spots in the world and it’s in walking distance!

Everything about our trip was magical at the Key Lime Inn.  From the minute that we arrived. The first person that we met was Clement and the last person that we saw before we left was Clement. I don’t think that gentleman ever sleeps! I am a true believer of 1st impressions can make or break your opinion. Well I have to tell you from that first moment everything about Key Lime Inn was wonderful. Checking in was fast and very professional. We stayed in # 14 and it was delightful. It was clean and the linens were crisp and  the bed was just right! Just perfect for the two of us. The house keeping staff was very responsive to our needs. The first day I asked for extra towels and right away they brought them to me. They also let me know at any time if we needed more just ask. The pool was charming and inviting. The front staff was great with explaining the area to us so we would not get lost. They recommended restaurants and things for us to do. Our favorite restaurant is El Siboney, a delightful cuban restaurant on Catherine and Margaret Streets. We loved it so much we went twice!

I would also like to add about your front of the house staff how gracious they were about letting me charge my fuel band. I left my fuel band with the front desk because it was running out of power. I came back a little while later to pick it up it still was not ready and they said not a problem come back later so I did. Thanks again, I would have been lost with out it!  The breakfast by the pool was delightful! An assortment of nibbles that was just enough to get your engine going. I will say at check out I was very sad, but only because I did not want to leave our home away from home. We will be back next year with bells on! I am hoping some our friends will join us! This was our first trip to Key West and will not be our last! Key Lime Inn you will forever be our second home! Thank you once again!
