We just got home from a 6 day trip to Key west with four other couples. Originally we were looking for a house to rent but since our plans were, by relative terms, short on the advance we booked the Key Lime Inn since it could accommodate all 10 of us.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by two of their staff which helped with the check-in process. Both reps were very friendly and helpful and in a short time we were headed to our rooms. I use the term rooms loosely because we were grouped together in several of their “cottage” style rooms. They were very reminiscent of lake cottages near Lake Erie, but only in size and arrangement. All were very well kept, i.e. paint, cleanliness, etc. Some had minor issues with door alignment but that was the biggest issue and certainly did not impact our stay.

Inside the rooms were very clean smelling and nicely deccorated. King rooms had a love seat, chair along with a closet and obviously a king size bed. Additionally, they had small decks or porches for relaxing before or after a trip up and down Duval St. Our Quenn room didn’t have the love seat, but that was not an issue at all. Bed comfort was not bad, we sleep on a memory foam bed at home but we didn’t have any complaints. Space in the bathrooms was a little short, but consider that you’re in Key West; everything is short on space!

Our AC unit’s fan ran all the time which actually helped drown out exterior noise. Being a couple blocks off Duval helped too, but I confess that our group wasn’t always ready to end our night when we returned. I don’t think we prompted any complaints for noise but I would have understood if we had. :)

We have never stayed at the same place twice in Key West in six trips. That will change when we go back because we would absolutely stay here again. Having stayed at several of the name resorts, you just don’t get that Key west feel and one of the other B&Bs we visited in town didn’t want a group to come to their place. That was disappointing.

Bottom line: great location, great staff, very good accomodations. My favorite so far.

We enjoyed our stay at the Key Lime Inn – friendly, helpful staff; clean room; nice continental breakfast.  Good buy for the price.

I spent 4 days here for the Offshore Championship boat races and enjoyed every minute of it.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.  The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and it’s within walking distance of just about everything you’d want to do.  Free, onsite parking is always a big plus in KW as well.  It’s a really nice Keys-style alternative to the big resort hotels.

We stayed at the Key Lime Inn for three nights in November 2012.   The Key Lime Inn is very quaint with a nice/small pool area.  Having the continental breakfast area near the pool was very pleasant and inviting.  The two ladies who organized and prepared the breakfast area were always very pleasant and helpful.  We were in #3 which was a single cottage with bedroom/bath and small outdoor seating area under the trees which was very relaxing.   The room was very clean and comfortable.   The staff was VERY friendly and courteous.

We love the Key Lime Inn with it’s rustic charm and beautiful.  It is a true Key West treasure!  The staff was most helpful and professional!!  We stayed in #20 cottage and the bed was comfort and nice bathroom!   Gary was sick the first two days and it was comforting to know that he got his rest in the nice room.   The person (sorry I can’t remember her name) in the laundry room was so nice to give us fresh towels and bed sheets in order to not disturb Gary while he rested.   She actually came back with me the room to get the dirty ones.  That is great service!  The Front Desk was so nice to let us leave our luggage in the lobby for a couple of hours so we could enjoy the day before taking the ferry home.   The breakfast was so relaxing around the pool each morning. We will definitely look forward to stay at this lovely property again!!

Thank you!

Thank you for the email and we wish to say we enjoyed our stay with you!  Your staff was extremely helpful and the Inn was so quaint and enjoyable.

The Inn was so close to everything and we never required any transportation of any sort but just did a lot of walking to all the points of interest.

Thank you for making us feel so welcome and we enjoyed Key West and all the delicious food.

Overall, I am left with a good impression of the Key Lime Inn. Staff was very welcoming. Outdoor patio off our room I enjoyed. My only complaint was slightly scratchy new sheets…..although, very clean.

Our first time in Key West, and no complaints ! We absolutely adored the Inn and because I upgraded our room before we got there, we had this intimate little corner with table and chairs, right off the pool. Clean, cheerful, relaxing. Just the perfect way to experience the Keys. Walked everywhere until we rented the scooter and then the fun really began!
