Planning our trip to Key West was my sole responsibility so I wanted to do it right. Many evenings were spent in front of the screen reading reviews and mapping out locations of available places to stay. We wanted something cozy with continental breakfast, no stairs, walking distance to Duval, easy access and parking. Key Lime Inn met all the requirements so I decided to take a chance and book our stay. Finding the Key Lime Inn was easy, check-in by the front desk staff was friendly, informative and smooth. The room was nicely furnished, clean with plenty of space and no charge for parking. The Continental breakfast (which was great) was always ready poolside at the promised time to get our day started. The close proximity to Duval St was an easy walk to shops or wherever we wanted to go. We had a wonderful time in Key West and although I’ll take credit for the planning, it wouldn’t have been as good as it was without the Key Lime Inn. Thanks for the great time!

We had time for two days in Key West, and the Key Lime Inn was a very relaxed and very nice place to stay. Good facilities, nice room. Breakfast buffet was acceptable.

My wife and I stayed at Key Lime Inn for two nights in February of 2015.  The property was very nice.  Front desk staff, bell man, lady at the continental breakfast were all very friendly and helpful.  The continental breakfast was good and they also gave us rain ponchos on the rainy day.  I liked staying in a small room with private walls versus a hotel room where you hear others.  The location was also conveniently located to most things so you don’t really need a car.  Only thing I wish they had was a hot tub but other than that, everything was great.

Close to Duval Street, can walk to most attractions.  Clean rooms,  a bit small but who stays in the room much. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice patio/pool area. Breakfast bar ok. I would go back again.

My husband and I stayed at Key Lime Inn from Monday Feb 16 until Friday Feb 20.  From the time we arrived, we were given useful information from the front desk personnel.  When Clement helped us to our room he helped with additional places to eat and things to do and see.  We cannot say enough about Clement, who helped my husband and I with my husband’s scooter and checked on us because my husband was ill the first night we were there.  Clement continued to check and make sure we had everything we needed the entire stay.  We enjoyed our trip to Key West tremendously and are thankful that Clement was there to help us through the rough times.

From the first call, Micheall was helpful and friendly. She made the whole process easy even though we had to do it as two separate reservations.  When we checked in, she had remembered our conversation and knew exactly who we were. She handled everything in a professional yet very warm and friendly way.

Clement assisted us with our bags and was so very friendly and efficient. He took care of a special ice cream request for us with a smile.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. The grounds and pool were also very nice. We could not have asked for a better place to stay, it was like staying with family. Please wish Clement a happy birthday on March 9th for us.

We had a three night stay in Feb, 2015.  We had room #11 with a king bed, private balcony.  Our room was very clean and very quiet.  I think being in the rear of the property is best for privacy and quiet.  The bathroom was clean, but really needs freshening.  I guess when I pay $450/night, I would expect a fully updated bathroom. However, this is Key West!  No big fancy resorts here!  The bathroom fan is loud too.  The room itself was very comfy…flat screen, wifi, comfy bed.  We slept soundly each night.   The staff at the front desk was warm and accommodating…eager to help.  The only reason I don’t give it five stars is the bathroom and the value…so pricey.  However, this is what to expect in high season at Key West.  So worth the trip!  Key West was wonderful..I want to move there!

We have stayed at the Merlin and the Lighthouse previously, so when we had to extend our stay due to inclement weather up north we looked no further than historickeywestinns.com.  The Key Lime Inn accommodated us.  In fact when we were waiting to get into our room we ended up having a little too much fun and weren’t going to make it back to the room until late.  Clement put our bags in our room and the manager told us how to retrieve our key when we returned.  They also were a big help getting us ride to the airport the following day when that pink taxi company got impatient and left us standing in the parking lot.
