The staff is amazing, knowledgeable and so friendly.  Checking in and out was a breeze.  Melissa told us about the best places to go and gladly made reservations for us.  For drinks (Camille’s for their bacon-infused Bloody Mary’s), meals (Better than Sex for dessert) and sunset cruise (Sebago has the best bang for the buck). She really made our trip a special getaway. The individual cabin was beautiful and very clean.  We loved the modern furniture and comfortable layout of the room.   Due to the very warm weather, we were not able to enjoy the cute private patio.  The grounds of the hotel are immaculate and what a bonus to have a parking lot at a centrally located hotel. Very few hotels have this. The pool area was perfect for a dip and it was thoughtful to have noodles for the guest to use. The included continental breakfast was just what we wanted – eggs, yogurt, cereal, bagels, juice, coffee, muffins and other baked goods. My only complaint is that the a/c unit in our room was a bit loud.  We will definitely recommend the hotel to others and look forward to coming back!

Our stay at the Key Lime Inn was wonderful. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room service was very good and very accommodating. The free continental breakfast provided was very good. Free parking was a great amenity. The Inn was in a good location two blocks from Duval Street nearer to the Southernmost area of Duval. Unfortunately my two favorite restaurants were located on the Northern side. I would recommend making reservations at “Latitudes” for lunch and take advantage of Happy Hour at the “Boat House”. My wife and I really enjoyed the food at both places. Key Lime Pie at Kermit’s was also good. A nice and different dessert place was “Better Than Sex” that is located very near the Inn. The Inn is lovely. Wish we had more time to relax. So much to do on the Island and surrounding water. I would recommend the Inn to friends.

My twin 10 year old daughters and I wanted to have a mother daughter trip away from their twin 17 year old brothers and dad. We live in Miami and wanted to go somewhere where we could drive but different from the Disney or beach scene. As soon as we arrived it the Key Lime Inn we knew we had made the right choice.

I wanted a nice, clean, safe place close to everything that was not a boring hotel and that was affordable. Parking and breakfast and wifi was free. From the start, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy, and when one off the male staff saw me struggling with my luggage he rushed to help me, loading it on to the cart and bringing it to our room. We had a spacious two double bed room, with super comfortable bedding, clean and neat.  we were a little bit disappointed that we did not have a little seating area outside, bit we were so close to the pool we didn’t really need it.  The bathroom was fine, nothing fancy, but perfect for the kids. I would have liked a bit more  space to hang wet towels bathing suits etc. but when I asked about what to do with the wet towels, they immediately exchanged them for nice warm clean towels!

Breakfast is adequate, coffee, cereal, juice, bagels, enough to get you going in the morning.  The inn was just a few minutes to the trolley stops, and within walking distance to both ends of Duvall. Cabs were everywhere and very affordable  for the few times we were too hot to walk. We spent two days seeing the sights and one day we went on a sunset snorkeling trip that was fantastic. When we came home in the afternoons for a rest, our rooms were clean and inviting. We would have liked another day or two to just hang out by the pool!

All in all we stayed 4 nights and we would most definitely come back again. My girls and I made some wonderful memories in Key West, and the Key Lime  Inn was a big part of it, I would certainly recommend the Inn to family and friends!

For our 19th anniversary we selected the Key Lime Inn. An amazing stay !!! Everything we wanted… cheerful, accommodating staff (ALL OF THEM), plentiful continental breakfast by the pool, great room with easy, efficient check in and out and an unexpected surprise.  Upon our arrival, a chilled bottle of champagne and glasses awaited us in the room! That was a first from any hotel!  We will definitely return:)

We picked the right place with our stay at the Key Lime Inn. Accommodating staff, clean and bright rooms, and within walking distance of just about everything on the island. Pool was very nice though rather warm down here in August. You can tell when walking around the grounds they are well maintained. Super nice Jayden who works in housekeeping made a special effort to keep us happy campers. Next time we visit we insist on getting one of those bungalows. Thanks to everyone at the Key Lime Inn.

Super friendly and helpful staff, great location, super clean, great breakfast, great off-street parking (very important, we have a Corvette). Room was small (larger ones are available) but very comfortable and cozy. A village within a village. Only complaint: the pool was hot, but I guess you can’t change the FL weather in August.

Thank you for a great stay.

Just loved the hotel and our stay there – I stayed in 7 different hotels on my crazy Florida trip and this is one of my favourites!

Front desk staff were particularly nice, friendly, informative.

Location – wonderful.  Although it might be nice to mark on the map good spots for sunrise/sunset as so many of the viewpoints are private property, which is a bit of a pain especially for sunrise.   I kept walking down to the shore, but as you can’t walk around the shoreline it got a bit frustrating.

The only real negative I have is that the little shelf in the shower made it annoying as everything kept dropping off – so it would be nice to maybe have a bigger stick on shower shelf for shower gel and shampoo.  Another annoying thing is that (please remember this was the end of the trip!) I didn’t realise the conditioner was conditioner as it is in a slightly different bottle – I thought it was another body lotion, so it was only as I was leaving I saw that.  Perhaps you could put the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower area on a shelf so things are easier.

Also, I HATE powdered creamer in my coffee so went to CVS to get fresh milk for the morning, and then you had the Hershey’s milk at breakfast.  Maybe you could put one of these in each fridge so you can do away with the plastic packets of creamer.  I also like real mugs – maybe you could have proper cups with your logo on and say if we want to take them just add it to your room charge.  Some hotels do leave products you can take and they just charge – maybe you could even leave some of that Key West Aloe in there – perfect for sun burn!

Thank you for a wonderful stay!

All the best, Pearl

We were so delighted to stay at the Key Lime Inn, as we love boutique hotels and we love Key West.  We have stayed at the Marquesa previously, but found that the price of the Key Lime Inn was about $100 cheaper – so we decided to try it.  We were given room 26 which was in the corner and offered a private patio area that was screen with lush tropical foliage.  We had absolutely NO road noise.  The staff was accommodating, and we couldn’t find anything to complain about except that the room safe was too small to accommodate all of our electronic gear, including our tablet computer.  That was it!  My husband loved the coffee.  We did not partake of the continental breakfast, as we have so many favorite breakfast places in Key West.  We will definitely come here again.
