We had not been to Key West in over 6 years.  We had walked by several of the Historic Key West Inns hotels over the years and always wanted to look at staying there.  Our check in process was quick and easy, parking was convenient and our room was emmaculate.  The Inn is close to restaurants and Duval Street, but far enough away to be quiet.  Most of all our bed was comfortable!  Not enough can be said about that.

Thanks for making our stay great!

I stayed overnight just one night at the Key Lime Inn with my daughter. We arrived early in the day by the Salt Island Sea Plane and walked to the Inn. The staff greeted us, pre-checked us in and encouraged us to feel welcome and relax on the pool deck and leave our luggage until we could check in. They called when our room was ready a little early and it was worth the wait. Everything was nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful from start to finish, doing anything possible to make sure we were comfortable. We will certainly stay again next time we are in town.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Check in/out process was very easy. Right away someone was there to ask if we needed help with luggage. Parking was also great, one night the lot was full and a very kind gentleman showed us where to park at sister hotel and then gave us a ride on golf cart back to hotel. Also loves that parking was free. The room was beautiful and very clean. Only complaint is we had to leave and come back to “reality”! Would absolutley recommend this hotel!

My boyfriend & I just returned from a week long stay in Key West and the ONLY thing that made the trip even better was our stay at the Key Lime Inn!

Everything was wonderful!  The staff was top notch – Michaell at the front desk was incredible (she was helpful, funny and very pleasant).

We requested a private cottage and to our surprise we got one and I must say it was just the perfect place to stay (so quaint and nicely decorated, the pool was awesome, the breakfast was just enough and the grounds were impeccable).

The Key Lime Inn and its staff far exceeded all our expectations!  We will with out a doubt book our next stay at the Key Lime Inn!!!

Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

The Key Lime Inn was a very nice place. Easy walking to most of the areas we visited. We stayed in Room 20, an individual cottage. Staff was very friendly and provided for any needs. The only complaints that we had were minor. The air conditioning unit needed service. The fan ran continually and was louder that what we would consider normal. It disturbed my wife’s sleep during the night. Don’t know if this problem existed in other units or if it was just this unit. The floors were not swept daily, trash from the walk paths would be tracked in on our shoes due to the rain. The last issue we had, the cottage was large by room standards, but the sectional couch took a large part of the space. This would be great if we were using the room to entertain, but is really unnecessary for this type room. I would recommend removing the larger section of couch and replacing with more table space to use a computer, etc…. Breakfast was provided daily by the pool and was fine. Nothing elaborate but a good breakfast. Pool was heated and fresh towels were supplied daily. I really liked the concept of individual cottages (some were duplex) and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great visit to Key West.

We stayed April 18-20, 2015.  Our room was clean and nicely decorated.  The inn was close enough to everything that we walked and used the Conch Train to get around.  The front desk staff was warm and friendly.  We would stay here again.

We stayed one night here while in Key West. Upon arriving we were greeted by Victoria. She was very friendly and personable.  We were given one of the rooms out by the patio with our friends in the room right next to us.  The rooms appeared to be recently updated and were very modern and clean.

The patio held a few patio table with umbrellas to keep the hot sun off of you. The pool was clean and we did enjoy a swim.

The included breakfast consisted of a variety of muffins, local bagels, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, orange juice, and coffee. This was set up out on the patio near the pool.  We found it quite enjoyable to relax by the pool while we ate our breakfast.

The only reason I did not give this a review a 5 star rating is because the water pressure in our shower was weak.  I believe this issue was just with our room as our friends, in the next-door room, did not have this issue. I did mention this to Victoria (front Desk) upon checkout and she was very apologetic and said that she would have his looked into. Overall, we were quite pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Key Lime Inn. After obsessively researching places to stay on TripAdvisor, Hipmunk, etc. the Key Lime seemed like a great choice based on location and price. We were looking for a non-chain experience, with a pool, and centrally located in Old Town to avoid having to have a car, and the Key Lime fit the bill. The vibe is low key, comfortable, and friendly. Our room was fresh and modern with hardwood floors. Breakfast is laid out each morning by the pool and allows for a nice place to eat although we took stuff back to our room. I’ll say at this point, if you’re not a late night type, you may want to avoid rooms in the 30s as these surround the pool which became the place for 20 somethings to sit and drink with boom box (yes a boom box) pumping out the tunes for awhile. Glad we were on the other side of the property. Some other outside seating was scattered around with the odd hammock as well. If your taste runs to local, B&B type places but with more amenities and friendly staff, the Key Lime Inn is a great bet.
