Recently stayed 5 nights at Lighthouse Court Hotel (LCH). Appears to be longer than most stays, since we continually saw newbies at breakfast and in the pool area. Our first visit to Key West and for the most part, we made a great choice where to stay. I think the location of LCH is what won us over. You can hang out all you want in the mayhem that Duval Street offers, but to be able to walk home to the “quiet” end of town each evening was the deal breaker.

Room was good, modern amenities, have stayed in fancier, but that is not what you’re there for. Booked the king room so that we could have a mini fridge. So nice to be able to keep a stash of bottled water on hand. Pool was good, pool bar was ok, but wasn’t expecting anything fantastic…..if they didn’t have the bar, probably would have bought my own liquor and mixed my own. One thing that was odd was that upon check-in, you’re given a buy-one g get-one drink coupon, but the coupon only is valid up to $8, and not sure I saw anything but beer on the bar menu below $8, so they end up charging you the difference……OK, so I bought one drink and paid $1 for the second….not a big deal, but technically not buy-one, get-one….

The only downside we did have is oddly enough location related. I know I spoke about how nice it was to be able to escape the circus that Duval Street can be, but we spent a lot of time walking between the hotel and the west end where it seems that most activities were happening (Mallory Square, the marina). So, plan ahead and show up with good walking shoes if those destinations interest you.

My husband and I spent 5 days in Key West in March.  Our friends recommended the Lighthouse Court Hotel and we are so glad we took their recommendation.  Our king room was perfect size with close proximity to the quiet pool area.   The staff was helpful, storing our luggage, ordering bikes for us and giving us an overview of the island upon check in.   We will definitely book a return visit to this location.

Any vacation can be made or broken by the location and cleanliness of the hotel you choose to stay in.  The Lighthouse Court Hotel has an excellent location in Key West.  It is within walking distance of anything you may want to do: Hemmingway House, the Lighthouse Museum, The Little White House, Duval Street, Mallory Square, and the Southernmost Point.

Our room was very well maintained and seemed to have been remodeled in the not too distant past.  It was cleaned every day and we had no worries about that.   Everyone we met at  Lighthouse Court was friendly, but the staff at the front desk was exceptionally helpful.  They recommended restaurants and activities, making reservations for us when we decided what we wanted to do. Their directions to things were very easy to follow.  We enjoyed dining at Blue Heaven which was only about two blocks from our room!  Check in and check out were extremely easy and quick.  The front desk staff was knowledgeable about printing boarding passes for our flight home and getting a taxi for our trip to the airport.

I would not hesitate to recommend Lighthouse Court Hotel to friends and plan on staying there sometime in the future.

We stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel March 27,2017. We called last minute and a queen room was available and ready early. We were greeted at the desk by Peter. He helped with parking and got us into our room early. The room was clean cozy and beautiful. It was perfect!!! We spent the afternoon by the pool, went out for a early dinner and came back and slept like babies. With sad faces we left early the next morning to drive back to Miami to catch a flight home.

The Lighthouse Court has a special place in my heart, my first trip was to Key West May 2014 and this is where I stayed. I fell in love with Key West, fell in love with the Lighthouse Court, and I fell in love!!! It is where I meet my partner and we have been together since. We visit key west every year and we find ourselves every year at your Mojito bar reminiscing.

We are looking forward to being regulars at your hotel and making it our home away from home.

Thank You for great memories.

Very nice place. We stayed at a nearby cottage last year but, in our meanderings around town, discovered your place and decided this is where we want to be next trip. Staff was very friendly and the grounds were beautiful. We will definitely come back again.

We arrived in the early evening, tired and hungry after ten (10) hrs. of driving. The desk clerk, Hubert, could not have been more helpful; he gave us a map and drew in directions to dozens of sites including a nearby restaurant (Duffy’s Steak House) which we saw on the way in. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is close to everything, no need for a car. You can walk, grab the hop-on-hop-off bus which has a stop out front, or rent a bike from one of the many local shops. Just off Duval St. but removed from the hustle and bustle. The only slight negative was the bathroom. There was limited space to place toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash etc.; a few shelves would be helpful. Overall, a very positive experience; wish we could have stayed a few more days.

Our first visit to Key West and what an amazing stay we had!  The Lighthouse Court Hotel was perfectly located.  The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.  We walked and walked for 3 -days and loved coming back to a comfortable bed and quaint surroundings.  We will be back!

P.S. food at the Blue Macaw in the Bahama Village right down the street was amazing – ate there 3 times!

THANK YOU! We sincerely enjoyed or stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel! From the minute we stepped on the property to entering the office we felt welcome and invited to enjoy a spectacular visit! Laura greeted us immediately! She portrayed a friendly, kind and gracious presence and genuinely treated us as family, although this was our first visit! A wonderful feeling for two tired guests that just that morning disembarked a cruise ship adventure to no-where, in Miami, as our ship had broken down! Laura was patient, calming, full of information and gave us the gift of a beautiful vacation!

Our assigned room had an adorable front porch with two chairs and a table! The accommodation was spotless, comfortable King bed with plenty of pillows, rain shower and all necessities! She had champagne waiting for us in our room! OH MY GOSH!  Sweetest Ever! We made sure to return to the office to Thank her! In addition, there was another gentleman, we didn’t get his name, offered his assistance for anything we may need! The Mojito Bar near the pool served a delicious Pina Colada and the morning breakfast provided is substantial! Especially liked the ham-stuffed croissants. We enjoyed our front porch for morning coffee and especially in the evening because of the amazing music across the street at the Hemingway House. We danced on our porch!

The location of this hotel to all activities was an easy walk for us to the Southernmost Point Buoy, Butterfly Museum, Duval Street, Mallory Square, Marc Fisher Museum..etc!! We really enjoyed the restaurants that Laura assisted us in finding, especially Two Friends Restaurant! The hospitality from the entire staff is absolutely charming! The gardens surrounding the hotel are beautiful as well as the wandering chickens and Gary the cat! We are beyond grateful for the opportunity to stay here! In fact, before we left, Alicia, another amazing knowledgeable staff member, worked with us for our booking for next year! We will return and have booked the same room!

Thank You From Roxane & Kevin Van Datta,

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location right across from The Hemingway house was within walking distance of most everything in town. Our room was clean and tasteful. The staff was accommodating and helpful. We would recommend it to anyone going to Key West.
