We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival to the hotel.  Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.  The rooms were clean and gave the ‘Key West’ ambience and quaintness of an historic inn, which we enjoyed.  Loved the location – walking distance to Duval, beaches, restaurants, shopping. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends and family.  We would like to have the bar area open a little later than 6 PM – even an hour later would be good.

I have stayed at approximately ten different hotels in Key West over the last 35 years and visited a lot more but I certainly found one of the best on January 19, 2015 when me and my wife stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for three nights.  Marie, at the front desk, was a deciding factor on our staying there since I knew little about the hotel, its rooms and amenities.  She has a sweet smile and was very sincere in her welcoming and did a fine job explaining the hotel and what it has to offer.  We were pleasantly surprised with our room, E2, which was spacious, clean with a nice bathroom and very comfortable bed.  The breakfast staff was very friendly and cheery.  Annette, our housekeeper, did an excellent job.  We have been in the hospitality/Inn business for over 32 years and know how important a little gratuity is to good workers and therefore, we tipped your staff accordingly.

We go out of our way to interact with people whether they are guests or  employees and found the friendliness at the hotel to be superb.  The Lighthouse Court Hotel will be on the top of the list for our return visit and hopefully we will bring our kids with us.

We have tried several of the restaurants in Key West and we always visit our favorites.  Louie’s Backyard, Pepe’s and Blue Heaven are among those favorites.  One of our new favorites is Santiago Bodegas which we had attempted to get reservations for during our previous visit.  We again found it to be difficult to get a reservation although we had success dining earlier.  The food was delicious and they had a very nice beer and wine selection.  It was so good we went back a second time.

Sincerely,

Tucker Withers

Perfect location near Duval street. Everything was walkable and yet the hotel was private with clean easy layout. Would definitely suggest a stay here.

Thank you to a wonderful team!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse CourtHotel. The hotel was in an excellent location a short walk from Duval Street but far enough away to be intimate and quiet. Check in was seamless and the free parking was accessible. We liked the pool and convenient bar where we would go everyday for a snack or refreshing drink. The rooms were always made up promptly and were always very clean. The entire staff was very accommodating willing to satisfy any needs you might have. The breakfast was very enjoyable each morning with a nice variety of food. The rooms all have individual character depending on size and location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again!

We recently spent 4 nights at Lighthouse Court. We were happy with the location of the hotel. It was our first trip to Key West and we weren’t sure what to expect. Our experience at the hotel began well even prior to check-in when we called Nick because we didn’t know where to park to unload. He met us ON the street and directed us to parking which was practically in front of the hotel. We didn’t move our vehicle during the entire stay.

The continental breakfasts were welcome and just right to start the day. All the staff we met while there were incredibly friendly and helpful. Even Gary Cooper, the kitty.

Also, please give our regards to Pam (sorry, I didn’t get her last name) who made us feel so special. Tell her Sue is looking for her first story about Gary Cooper.

We would definitely stay at the Lighthouse Court again. It was convenient to all attractions but very quiet and lovely at night.

Sincerely,

Sue and Bob Cockrell

For someone who traveled alone to Key West, the room I stayed in seemed a little large for my needs, but it was clean and nicely furnished. I loved how it was closely located to a number of the main sights and attractions in Key West, but far enough away from the nightlife so you can have a quiet night if necessary. Matt did an excellent job in getting me checked in and settled into my room earlier than expected as well as suggesting places to see and eat for an introductory first day getting oriented with the area.

The person at check -in, Rose, was extremely professional and knowledgeable.
The rooms were extremely airy and comfortable. The breakfast was first class. The housekeeping staff were attentive to detail and kept the rooms clean and provided plenty of towels, etc. The location of the hotel, being directly across from the Hemingway House and a block from Duval is perfect ! I was so impressed that I recommended the Lighthouse Court to a friend and they have booked a room for mid June. The Key West Ambiance is extraordinary. My wife Carol and I had a great meal at Caroline’s and enjoyed the Stag Show at Aqua.

Respectfully submitted,

Martin Landin

We had a fabulous time on a long weekend at Key West, the Lighthouse Court Hotel was an excellent choice, right in the heart of the city, staff were very friendly and accommodating.  Amenities included pool and continental breakfast in the courtyard.

My return visit to Lighthouse Court Hotel this year was once again incredible. I’m not sure just how many times I have stayed at Lighthouse Court but it’s been a minimum of four years. Originally it was recommended to me by a local, who said it was a great place to stay. Boy, was he right! Back when I made my reservation for Jan 11-17, 2015, I had requested a specific room. Although it was not guaranteed to me, when I checked in, it was available, and I had my favorite King room at the Inn. Also, I had changed my original reservation for 6 nights, to seven nights. Again, there was no problem at all with the additional night. When I arrived a little earlier than normal check-in, I was greeted by the front desk staff with warmth and friendliness, and allowed to keep my bag in a secured closet until my room was available. All the staff of Lighthouse Court are, and have always made me feel right at home. I stay there each year for several reasons. I am a single traveller, and always feel safe at Lighthouse Court, which is very importnant to me. It is also located close enough to everything in Key West, yet not in the hustle of Duval Street.
I was pleasantly surprised this year when I had a lovely welcome back note and a bottle of chilled champagne waiting for me upon my arrival to the room. I had never experienced this in any other place that I have stayed. The entire staff at Lighthouse Court have always been friendly, helpful, and go out of their way to make sure everything goes well for me as well as all the other guests. I was wished a happy birthday by the front desk staff, which added a personal touch, which I appreciated.

I walk to and from the airport to Lighthouse Court each visit because it gives me the opportunity to begin and end my vacation in the most perfect way. I was offered a ride to the airport by one of your staff this year. Although I declined, I welcomed the kindness of the offer. I rent a bicycle at Island Bikes each visit, and use that for my transportation around KW. I spend time at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, not only sunbathing, but sunset visits also. I do go to Mallory Square to join the sunset celebration at least a few nights during my stay. I wouldn’t miss a walk to the top of the Lighthouse each year, as the view from there is always incredible. This year I also went snorkeling at the reef with Fury, which was great.

I am already planning next year’s visit to Key West, and Lighthouse Court will be the place I choose to stay! Thank you for the opportunity of staying there year after year. In conversation with friends and colleagues after my return, I always recommend Lighthouse Court as the only place to stay on the island.

It was my first time visiting Key West and we had a great time. We luckily had a nice parking spot right behind the Lighthouse Court hotel, the room was clean and had everything we needed for our two night stay. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel but while we were there we sat by the pool and had Mojitos (two for one price). Nice breakfast in the morning, very basic but good and the staff let us grab food last min which was nice. Although I’d like to stay on the beach next time this hotel is walking distance to a beautiful public beach at the Southernmost Point.  I hope you book at this hotel, we had a great stay!
