My husband and I visit Key West often, but this was our first time to stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel – what an absolute treat!  I also travel extensively for business (on the road about 50% or more each year), so I am a tough customer when it comes to lodging.

The hotel is a collection of small buildings all connected by lush gardens and pathways – really gives you the tropical island feel!  We had a one bedroom suite which had a small kitchenette, dining area, living room, bedroom and bath.  The décor was light and airy – beautiful wood blinds on all the windows, high end finishes in the room (granite, hardwood floors, leather couch) and our unit had a nice private deck with immediate access to the pool, onsite bar and the breakfast area.

A continental breakfast was included each morning – the staff was quick to replenish items and kept the fresh, hot coffee coming!

Location was perfect – we were close enough to the action, but far enough away not to be bothered by the noisy crowds.  We were able to walk to everything.  In fact, the Hemingway House is directly across the street from the Hotel!  There were lots of great local restaurants nearby – like the Blue Heaven, one of our favorites!

There was even off-street parking just for Hotel guests – so we never had to worry about our car.

We will definitely be back to Key West and look forward to staying at one of their Historic Key West Inns hotels.

I just want to say, that I haven’t been to Key West in over 20 years.  It was a pleasure to see it all over again, with fresh eyes. I really appreciated the rustic and historical touches of the Lighthouse Court Hotel.   It was also great to see that Key West has only gained its charm over the years.

My wife and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for our anniversary, and we couldn’t have been happier.   The rooms were clean, well lit, modern, and very well situated.   We give it 4.5 stars our of 5.   Only the sometimes low water pressure of the shower kept it from a perfect rating.  But that was probably just a glitch with our room.

It was a pleasure to be near Duval Street, and yet still be far enough away for peace and quiet.   The fact that our hotel had dedicated parking made it that much better!
Located across the street from the Famous Hemingway house, and next door to the beautiful lighthouse – it was easy to get around walking, or using bicycles and scooters.  Each morning we had breakfast by the pool, which was nicely displayed by the courteous hotel staff.   It was beautiful, tropical, and cozy.  We really made some happy memories for the future.

We highly recommend anyone staying in Key West to try the Lighthouse Court, or any of the other Historic Key West Inns hotels.  I know that Key West and the Historic Key West Inns will definitely be included in our future Florida “staycation” plans.

We have stayed at the Lighthouse Court several times, and have enjoyed every stay. The staff is cheerful, courteous, and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the coffee on the breakfast bar is excellent! The staff was enthusiastic about giving suggestions on things to see and places to go, such as the Parasailing, tours, and restaurants. The pool is very nice, and the patio/deck/mojito bar area is clean and well-kept. We will be back soon! We have not tried all of the tour providers, but Fury has served us very well for snorkeling, parasailing, and Sunset cruise.

My husband and I came to stay at your hotel for two nights this past week. We stumbled across your hotel on an internet search and we booked it based on its overall look and the closeness to Duval Street. We were so happy we chose your hotel!

We were able to park our car and not get back in it until we unfortunately had to go back home. We were greeted by a wonderful woman at the front desk, Robbi. She was extremely nice and very helpful. She even gave us an upgrade to our room. Our suite was so charming! Adorable two room suite with a modern kitchenette, an updated bathroom with a huge shower, our own private porch, and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in at a hotel. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best it could have been so we were able to really enjoy some of the other features the hotel offered but we were able to walk every where from it. The included breakfast wasn’t anything special, local baked goods, some yogurt, coffee and juice. Our stay was so great. We have decided that every time from now on when we go to Key West we only want to stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel and we will recommend this place to everyone we know.

Our room D2 was small but functional once staff provided mobile clothing rack. Perfect location & amazingly quiet for location. Thankx for access to early coffee (crucial!) & light breakfast @poolside. We walked EVERYWHERE & able to find our way back enjoyed seeing the lighthouse lit as we often returned late & bar CLOSED!  THX bartender who REOPENED to make our LAST nite drink.  Entire staff professional & helpful. Miss your shower!!!

We had a great stay at the Lighthouse Court on our first visit to Key West. Our room was clean, the bed was super comfortable! We did get woken up at approx 3 am by crowing roosters…it was annoying, but also SUPER hilarious. We learned our lesson and used the (provided) ear plugs the next night. :)  The bathroom could use additional counter space – not the end of the world – just made getting ready in the morning a bit of a balancing act. The staff was very accomodating and helpful, the front desk lady gave great tips on the best times to go where. Breakfast in the morning was nice: nothing elaborate, but definitely adequate. Location, location, location — it was just a wonderful place to stay as you could walk to ANYWHERE you wanted to be in minutes – but just a tiny smidge set apart from the rowdy side of KW.

I have to say that this was one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in. The room was so clean and inviting. The staff was very nice and they always said good morning or asked if there was anything that we needed. The location of the hotel was perfect and within walking distance to everywhere that we went. I felt very safe. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay for our family.

I love your facility! It was centrally located and so close to everything. The staff was very helpful – gave me suggestions of places to visit, helping me get a bike, even assisting me in the event of a late check in. Robbi the evening front desk staff was so bubbly and attentive!! Great job.

My room was clean and nicely decorated. The complimentary breakfast was a quick start to the day. I love the courtyards, it was so peaceful.

I know that I will staying here again. Thanks for making my stay so delightful.

Beautiful hotel at awesome location. Duval street is just at walking distance which is the most happening place in key west. We were group of 4 but this hotel is best for couple. Just one suggestion, if you can put reserve parking for each room, then it will be easier to park rather getting parking at one spot and while coming back noticing that the place is filled with another car and then contacting the reservation desk to get another parking lot. One more thing we noticed that the plug point and light switch of the 2nd floor bedroom are connected so if we switch off the light the plug point will not work so we can’t charge our phone. If we want to charge our phone we have to keep the lights on. Rest all were fine.
