We stayed at Lighthouse Court for 7 nights during our Key West visit June 6-12 2015.  We were greeted by Rose at check in and she was friendly and  welcoming.  She gave us information about the hotel and the Key West area, pointing out popular restaurants and attractions, as well as the Sunset Celebration.

The hotel grounds were lovely and well maintained.  You truly got the feel of being in an island atmosphere.  The staff was friendly and welcoming.  The room was very clean when we checked in and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job servicing the room each day.  The bed was extremely comfortable.   A variety of delicious bagels and muffins were served at the Continental breakfast, along with the usual items you would expect.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay on Key West.  The one caveat is that the “standard” rooms do not come equipped with an in room coffee maker or mini refrigerator.  Coffee was available in the lobby after 7 am, which may be just fine for most. However, we are incredibly early risers, even on vacation.  It was a long time to wait for that first cup of coffee.  That said, it didn’t hinder our enjoyment of the accommodations and we would still give this hotel a 5 Pineapple rating!

We stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel this past weekend.  Great hotel and the staff are excellent!!! You won’t be disappointed.

We booked the standard room, which although a little small, we didn’t mind as it was well appointed and had everything we needed.  The grounds are gorgeous and the location can’t be beat. The Inn is one block from Duval street and four blocks to Mallory Square. We parked our car directly in front of the Hotel.  Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance.  The front desk staff are so helpful and extremely knowledgeable regarding the Keys.  We locked ourselves out of our room the first day and the manager was very pleasant in helping us get back in.  The second day I had unknowingly left my key in the door and one of the staff found it.  After trying to locate us, they brought it to the front desk for us.  Big relief!  We loved the staff!  We will be staying at Lighthouse Court on our next trip to Key West.

Loved this hotel.  Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and very accommodating.  Great location, could walk to many of the great “things to do” locations in the city.

My husband and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel the week of June 8 and we loved our stay there.  The room was clean, inviting and the a/c worked great. The front desk people were very accommodating and friendly, check in and check out was quick and easy. When we come back to Key West, we would definitely stay here again.  The only thing that I didn’t care for too much was the fact that our room was right by the pool and when you opened your door it felt like everyone could look in.  However, this wouldn’t deter us from staying in this room again.  (Just a minor inconvenience).  We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.  There are many things to do in Key West, I would recommend the sunset cruise and renting either scooters or bikes.  We were lucky to get parking right on the hotel grounds so our car stayed there until we left.  A wonderful, wonderful time!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for 3 nights and all I got to say is what an amazing time we had. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Marie in the front desk was so nice and always with a smile on her face she made our check in process smooth. Our suite was beautiful, clean and very modern, totally worth paying for an upgrade. The breakfast by the pool is a plus and very convenient. We really enjoyed the corn hole game they have in the back, it was our entertainment when we didn’t want to leave the hotel. I look forward to my next stay here.

My wife and I thought this hotel to be our favorite on our entire trip. The place was wonderful, staff friendly and informative. The bed was phenomenally comfortable and the room was clean and well decorated. We even received a complementary bottle of champagne for our anniversary (this was the only hotel that did anything special for us on our trip) The location was great as well, very close to all the action and the assortment of restaurants and shops. The only suggestion I have would be for the hotel to offer discounts at the on site mojito bar for those that are staying at the hotel. Other than that, A+. We will definitely book here for any future Key West travels. Thanks again!!!

We enjoyed our second stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel across from Hemingway house very much. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and spacious. All the highlights of downtown Key West are within walking distance or you can stay in their well-maintained swimming pool area. We’ll be back!

Having been a resident of Florida since 1959, it was time to visit Key West. My wife and I were looking forward to the trip as it was over my birthday. Our desire was to find a hotel centrally located in the old part of town, close to historical buildings that were within walking distance to where we stayed. The hotel needed to have a good reputation regarding cost, cleanliness, staff support and morale.

To our great pleasure, this hotel exceeded all expectations:

1.) Kudos to Alexander, who greeted us upon check-in as if we were the only guests. He was knowledgeable about all things hotel, as well as the town with respect to where places were and how best to get around (Bicycles or walking being the best way to go.). As it was my birthday and the hotel was not full yet, he gladly and quickly showed us a potential upgrade to the room that was booked. Note that either room was perfectly acceptable.

2.) The remainder of the staff, (Rose, Liz, and Marie to name a few) were also helpful and always ready to be helpful.

3.) The room was beautiful. Queen-size bed, new and comfortable. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are like-new Beautiful. Shower had instant on hot water, no waiting. The staff did an excellent job of maintaining it during the entire length of our stay (4 days).

4.) Breakfast was as advertised-fresh fruit, fresh pastries(bagels, croissants), cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, fresh orange juice. A great start to each day.

5.)We didn’t use the pool, but it was sparkling and large enough to accommodate those who wished to use it. We looked forward to the beach, which we found nearby at the Truman Annex.

6.)Everything we wished to see and do were within 20 minutes walking distance, starting with the Hemingway house directly across the street, and the Lighthouse Museum next door.

The hotel, its staff, and location could not have been more perfect.

Thank-you,

John and Judy

This was our family’s first visit to the Keys.  The Lighthouse Court is a Gorgeous Inn inside and out.  Well maintained and very picturesque. Staying here just added to the Keys experience. We were wowed by our bungalow. It was perfect, just beautiful. The breakfast by the pool was just as nice. The staff/ housekeeping was welcoming. We would definitely choose this Inn or any of the other Hotels  in your group on another trip to the Keys.  Thanks for the hospitality.
