I enjoyed my stay here. The lady at the front desk took care of everything, and made me feel appreciated.

We picked the Merlin Guest House for a few night stay because it was centrally located without being right on the party street (Duval). Everything was within walking distance and we were able to enjoy the peacefulness and quiet of the beautiful property after long days of water sports and touristy things. The room was perfect for our needs and the pool offered a refreshing break from the humidity of July. The bed was comfortable and having on site parking was a plus. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with local recommendations. There is a resident cat who was fun to have around too. We would stay here again.

Everything was wonderful! My son loved Jordan as he was mostly sitting by the pool or in front of our room. The cottage was perfect for 4 people. We only stayed 2 nights and time didn’t allow us to use the pool but it seemed great. Breakfast was short and sweet. We definitely will be returning. Thank you!

When we stayed at Merlin Guest House,  we expected “more of the same.”  However, we were pleasantly surprised!  Linda and Michaell made all the difference in the world!  From their always welcoming smile to their extremely detailed knowledge of Key West, they provided excellent client service!  The Suites were spacious and tastefully decorated.  Thank you Merlin Guest House for helping to make our stay a wonderful experience!  Fully recommended!

The Merlin Guest House was just what we needed for our first stay in Key West. It is located is a quieter part of Key West yet very close to the Southernmost Point and Duval Street. The hotel staff gave us excellent recommendations for dining. The pool was a great place to cool off and relax. I also appreciated the iced tea served in the afternoon. The beds and pillows were also so cozy and the room super clean. I would definitely recommend it! The only things that were missing were an ironing board and body lotion in the rooms. Luckily I brought some lotion and wrinkle release spray, but it would been nice to be in the rooms.

We loved this property so much! Michealle at reception was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and the perfect size. The continental breakfast and iced tea offered throughout the day were great. The property itself is beautiful. Parking was super easy and reasonably priced. But the best part is the location! You can walk everywhere from this property, just park your car and forget about it. Duval St is only a block away, and all of the famous attractions are a quick walk away. It was perfect. We also met the nicest people while hanging out in the pool and cooling off after a long day in the sun! We loved Merlin Guest House so much we will definitely have it as our go to home away from home in Key West! ❤️

WE had no idea how cute and clean and very convenient this hotel was going to be when we booked it. We were greeted by such a sweet lady in the reception area and also a cute cat! After shopping and walking just a short distance away in downtown Key West we loved coming back to he pool for a cool down. Every couple we met at the pool was friendly and happy they chose to stay there as well. We all talked about how comfortable the beds were and how cool the a/c units were in each room. Can’t wait to go back!!!

My wife and I have been going to Key West for over 15 years and recently went back for our 21st anniversary. We have a few spots we typically stay but for some reason wanted to try something new, we found the Merlin Guest House. The accommodations were the cleanest we ever had on the key and the staff was very accommodating – we are hooked.

My wife and I are from Jamaica and we decided to spend our summer vacation in Florida. After looking into several options, we decided on going to Key West. Not knowing too much about the Hotel/B&B/Inn offerings there, we reviewed some online and settled on the Merlin Guest House. We chose this property because of the excellent reviews online, the beautiful pictorial depictions and it’s proximity to the historical sites, attractions, restaurant and entertainment locations. After a beautiful and breathtaking drive from Fort Lauderdale, we arrived at our destination and we were immediately struck by the peaceful, clean, quiet and salubrious environment surrounding the location. We were immediately welcomed by our host Linda who immediately checked us in and proceeded to outline the must see spots and things to do in Key West in a most courteous and professional manner. We were then shown to our room above the pool which we were immediately impressed with. It was exactly what the doctor ordered for a peaceful and tranquil stay, clean and a most comfortable bed. We enjoyed having breakfast in the gardens while listening to the birds chirping away and Kenneth kept us entertained as he regaled us in conversation. Once we parked our car, we no longer needed it as the the main sites are within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the Museums and the historical homes, the choice of eating establishments along Duval Street, sunrise at the pier and sunset at Mallory Square, a visit to the Southernmost Point and so much more. All in all, our stay at the Merlin Guest House was a pleasant, peaceful and enjoyable one and we were made to feel right at home from the outset. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend this property and experience to all our friends.
