Ken welcomed us graciously and immediately recognized that our bicycles (we’d ridden down from Fort Myers) were too valuable to store anyplace except in our room. The back porch provided a quiet, private retreat while the pool area provided a quiet place where conversations with other guests could be carried on. The quiet street location was nonetheless a convenient walking distance to all that Key West has to offer.
