When we showed up at the front desk to check in, they had no record of our reservation. Apparently we used a service that had confirmed with us, but hadn’t sent the information on to the inn. Luckily, my husband was able to pull up the e-mail confirmation. Because of the issue, we spent the first night in a smaller room, but Michaelle quickly straightened everything out. We would check out of the smaller room the next morning and leave our luggage there and the staff would take care of everything else. Sure enough, we checked out the next morning and went on our way and returned to a lovely room containing our luggage and a very special touch of a bottle of bubbly as we were celebrating my birthday!
The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of storage and the bathroom was spacious. There were even two Adirondack chairs outside our door in a private area with a small fence, but looking out to the pool area. Having parking for our car and scooters was so convenient. The staff were wonderful, the inn was darling and well-appointed and it was a good location. This is the third property we’ve stayed in with the Historic Key West Inns hotel collection and plan to hit them all.By: Tracy Santos on March 23, 2015
