We booked Key Lime Inn for several people for my son’s wedding in Key West. What a wonderful place this is! It’s a secluded gem. Your rooms are small cottages either by the pool or throughout the grounds. It’s centrally located and just a very short walk to Duval street. Right down the street is a CVS and rental locations for bikes, scooters, and golf carts. Our room was a King room with a L shaped sofa. It had a nice porch attached with 2 chairs and a table. The bed was very comfortable and so pristine with it’s white comforter and sheets. Our son’s room was right beside the pool and was made exactly like ours. In a very expensive area, this is a great choice. We had complementary breakfast by the pool each morning that we were there. It was easy for us to sit with everyone and go over the itinerary for the day. The breakfast area is very clean, and the breakfast consisted of ham crescents, bagels, cereals, juice, fruit, and good coffee. If you like artificial sweeteners, bring your own. They have raw sugar. There is a toaster there also.
The staff at the hotel is super. My son and his partner accidentally locked themselves out of their room at 2 AM, and with one phone call that is located on the information sheet given at check-in, they were able to reach the night manager and were in their room in 5 minutes! I have to give kudos to the housekeepers and ground keepers. Our rooms were spotless and cleaned each day that we were there. We stayed in #20. My brother stayed in #8. Beautiful rooms. The grounds are so pretty, shaded, and clean. There is parking on site for a small fee each day. The desk staff was so helpful, professional, and friendly. Matthew greeted us, checked us in, and gave us suggestions for restaurants, good places to have a drink on the water, places to dance, and sites to visit. Loved the Hemingway house. Of course we had a drink at Sloppy Joe’s. At Turtle Kraals we sat at the Tower Bar and had a beautiful view with lunch and drinks. We also had a great lunch with a view at Southernmost Beach Café. All suggested by the staff at Key Lime. The music and dancing at Capt. Tony’s was a lot of fun. Key West is a very special place.
