I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, location and cleanliness of the Key Lime Inn. Staff was very helpful and gave suggestions on Seven Fish for dinner, which was AWESOME! Key West is definitely different than 20 years ago when I was there last, but the Key Lime Inn helped make me feel right at home. If ever in Key West again, we will be looking up the Key Lime Inn.

We had a great time staying at the Merlin Guesthouse.  Our room was clean, very well appointed and tastefully decorated in the Key West style.  The grounds were well maintained and had plenty of areas to relax in after a long day out.  The staff was professional, nice and extremely helpful.  The Inn is very well located just close enough to the action yet far enough to be quiet.

A few things I would comment on are that the A/C unit in the room was loud and the TV remote was not functioning correctly.  The coffee at the continental breakfast could also be improved on.  We also noticed that although we had the “do not disturb” sign on the door our room was made up while we were away.

Next time I plan a trip to Key West I will definitely stay at one of the Historic Key West Inns if not the Merlin Guesthouse once again.  I will also make sure to recommend them to friends and family.

We recently stayed at the lovely Merlin Guesthouse for a destination wedding in Key West, and loved the secluded property. The front desk person was very kind, taking time to talk with us even though we checked in very close to closing time.  We loved the pool and breakfast each morning.  My one suggestion would be to up the mattress quality in our room. In addition, this is just a small thing, but as the room cooled we had no blankets to put on the bed. Ask the front desk.

Thank you!  We really enjoyed our stay at Cypress House.  We may be back in 2013 as my girlfriend, who had never been to Key West before, fell in love with the place and really loved our stay at Cypress House.  We were very grateful for the assistance and recommendations we received from your front desk guys – Christopher in particular who had fantastic information and went out of his way to help us.

We stayed in room #8 (the haunted room we were told) and even had a spooky  experience.  We had placed a 2.5 gallon water container on top of the room’s refrigerator when we got in and several hours later as we were relaxing on the bed together….the water bottle (which must have weighed 3 lbs) fell on the floor with a large thunk!  My girlfriend Brenda tried to play it off that she put it on the fridge and was hanging off and the vibration of the refrigerator slowing moved it off until it fell….but that theory is somewhat shaky, ha ha.

We look forward to our next stay at one of your properties!

We have stayed at the Key Lime Inn during January for the past 5 years:  3 days, 10 days, 1 week, 3 days and 5 days!  We look forward to our stay each year, because we know we will have comfy accommodations, a nice pool to relax in, pleasant breakfasts by the pool, and last, but not least…people who are welcoming and who strive to make our stay as nice as it can be.  We park our car in the lot and don’t move it for our entire stay.  This year we put 27 miles on our shoes!  The inn is close to everything and yet is our refuge from the crowds.  Looking forward to our next visit to wonderful Key West and the Key Lime Inn!

Loved the hotel! We had a King suite for one night and it was large, clean and we just loved the balcony! The hotel has a natural wood look on the outside and is very nice inside. It’s a perfect Key West hotel with perfect location near Duval street, but not so close that any sound was disturbing!

Great and clean hotel, good free breakfast, the toilet paper is not enough, parking space is limited but we got one so it’s nice, located in a very convenient place so can walk everywhere, the Thai restaurant that staff recommended is super bad, staff are nice, the front desk area smells very good!

Our two day stay at the Merlin Guesthouse was a pleasant one.  Guesthouse personnel were friendly and helpful.  The room was adequate for our needs and the outside decor was impressive.  Location is the best for someone wanting to experience the excitement of Duval Street.

When we arrived in front of Merlin Guesthouse, while in search of a parking spot, Kenneth called over to ask us if we were staying at Merlin. As we said yes, Kenneth directed us around the block to park adjacent to Merlin.  FABULOUS!  Throughout our stay Kenneth and our breakfast coordinator were excellent hosts.  We enjoyed our loft overlooking the pool.  The pool & breakfast garden areas were quite relaxing, especially for a few hours after our Sunset Cruise that Kenneth attained reservations for us.  Merlin was so central to all of Key West’s major attractions.  We would certainly return to Merlin Guesthouse again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cypress House!  We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was our very first visit to the Florida Keys.  The accommodations were everything we hoped they would be.  I was a bit nervous about booking our reservation on-line without ever having been to Key West before, but those nerves were put to rest as soon as we entered the office.  The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable.  We stayed in Room 4 and especially enjoyed our seating area on the front porch where we could just sit, relax, and enjoy each others company.  The breakfast was delicious and we appreciated having choices other than just cereal, fruit, and pastries.  We will certainly recommend your establishment to our friends and family.  Thanks again!
