First off….there was not one person that stood out…EVERYONE we met was so nice, helpful and had a smile on their face.  You could tell they like working there.

My friend of 43 years had never been to Key West.  My family had a time share at the Galleon for years and  we have visited key West often throughout the past years.

Looking on line we decided on the Lighthouse Court Hotel because of the location, room options , breakfast, internet, and overall appearance.  The pictures on the web site really do tell it right!  We were not disappointed at all.  The room was beyond clean and even smelled nice.  We loved sitting out front on the blue chairs watching the world go by.   Just what you are suppose to do in Key West!!!

My friend, Denise and I flew from Ft. Lauderdale to Key West and took a cab to the Lighthouse Court.   No need for a car.

The check in process and check out process was perfect.  No stress!

I plan on surprising my husband next April 2017 with a trip back to Lighthouse Court Hotel.

I am not big on recommending restaurants or activities for people to do, but I will say…..having the City View Trolley a block away was a very nice!!!

We came down to Key West for a wedding of a good friend.  Boy, were we happy we made the trip.  My husband and I are hard workers (teacher and coach) and proud parents of 5 children!  We needed this getaway.   The Chelsea House Hotel provided such a homie and relaxing atmosphere.   The staff was wonderful and loving.

Thanks for the great hospitality and Thank You Key West for the wonderful memories❤️❤️

Until next time,

Amy and Mike Fuline

My boyfriend and I stayed while attending a wedding in Key West. We were immediately impressed by the friendliness of the staff when we checked-in. Our room was ready early and we were shown the hotel grounds. Our room was very big and clean. We loved staying there and the bed was so comfortable! The staff was always available to call a taxi for us and helpful when it came to check-out as well. The location was perfect, very close to Duval street (Fat Tuesdays) and Mallory Square. My boyfriend and I recommend this hotel!

More beautiful than I could have imagined, Merlin Guest House will always hold a special place in my heart. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. The free continental breakfast better than nearly anything else I’ve seen on the islands (including the local, freshly baked ham and cheese croissants!). Truly amazing. A peaceful retreat, but so convenient to Duval. Truly the best of both worlds, and my new home away from home.

The Cypress House Hotel is a real gem. Loved our stay from the beginning. Dennis is the best. We could not find one thing we didn’t love. Breakfast and Happy hour were so unexpected but thoroughly enjoyed. The bottle of champagne for my birthday put you over the top! Thank you! We have decided that Cypress House is the only place we want to be in Key West from now on.

My wife and I had the great pleasure of spending two nights at the Cypress House Hotel, a well maintained classic Key West-style home. It was fun imagining what life in the home was like at the turn of the last century. The staff were friendly, responsive, and unobtrusive. Our room was very spacious, inviting, and clean. The king-sized bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever laid upon.

Street noise may be an issue for some, you may need to remind yourself that you are in a 19th century building in KEY WEST. The window A/C unit was more than up to the task.

Breakfast is nicely done, with the standard breads, muffins, fruit and cereals along with a hot entree (biscuits and gravy one morning, burrito the next). The ‘Liming’ hour is a nice treat in the early evening!

The property is located just two blocks from Duval St and a short walk to Mallory Square. A parking garage (discounted rate for guests, $10/day) is a few blocks in the opposite direction.

Well done! We are happy that quality alternatives to the ‘big chains’ are alive and well in Key West!

We were very happy with our stay! The staff was great, the room was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel has a great “Old Key West” feel and is an easy walk to all of the downtown attractions. Our only complaint (and this is VERY minor, all things considered) is that there is no place in the shower to put your own items (we gals need something besides a soap dish to put our shaving items etc!). We would absolutely stay there again if we have a chance to go back to Key West!
