Our stay at the Cypress House Hotel was wonderful in every way.  We were welcomed warmly, helped with getting our luggage into our room, and then quite pleased with our beautiful room.  The gorgeous chandelier, glass accented closet doors, nicely decorated bathroom, and spacious front porch all added to our enjoyment of our stay.  We especially enjoyed the afternoon “liming hours” with snacks and drinks, along with the delicious breakfast provided each morning.  The location of the Cypress House was perfect for all activities in the Key West area – within an easy walk of everything.  I would highly recommend staying at the Cypress House when you visit Key West.

The staff was friendly and attentive and the rooms were well equipped.

The location is just off Duval Street so you don’t have to walk far for something to do or eat.

I would stay here again.

I stayed at Chelsea House for a one week vacation. It was my first time to Key West and did not want the generic hotel, so a B&B it was. I chose Chelsea House because of its close location to Duval and  being centered in Old Town. Another and important decision was the free onsite parking. I researched the location and seen that the area was clean and did not appear to be in a bad or rough part of town. When we checked in the staff was more than friendly and helpful. It was such a pleasant process. A surprise to me was that there was an actual key for the door lock. The room I was in was the Palameto Room #25. It was very clean and spaciouse for a B&B. The surprise was a balcony off the bedroom looking over the pool with lounge chairs. The bed was firm and comfortable so I fell asleep quickly. I did not want the vacation to end but like all Good things they eventually do come to an end. Checkout was as easy as checking in. Next time I visit the keys the first place I look up will be Chelsea House.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights early July.  The staff was VERY friendly and helpful in every way.  When we checked in, they upgraded our room to a king room with a porch.  I really loved that they did that for us without asking just because it was available.  Excellent customer service!  The room was beautiful and very clean.  I loved the location as it was within walking distance to everything.  Really loved the liming happy hour and appetizers in the evening as well.  Staying here helped make our good trip a GREAT TRIP.  Will definitely come back!!

We will definitely stay here again! Our room was clean & comfortable, the staff was helpful & friendly, and the location was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, stores & night life but far enough away so we could sleep. Great breakfast and happy hour treats too!!

We arrived at 9:00 am on Friday July 10, 2015 and knew it would be way too early to check-in. We spoke to Micheall and she assured us that they would make our room a priority, she took time to ask what we were interested in doing while in Key West and took time to show us different ideas. I noticed that she was had a cup of cuban coffee delivered and we talked about how much my husband and I loved Cafe con Leche. She took the time to make sure we had some delivered to us the next morning ! It was very nice to have somewhere to park our car, since parking is limited in Key West. We strolled around for a little while and went back to the Inn before noon to enjoy the pool and cool off.  Our room was ready and waiting for us, very nice room and very clean and crisp ! Nice little private patio in back. We have stayed at 3 of their six Historic Key West Inns hotels and they are all very nice and clean. They all have they own special charm . The continental breakfast is very nice and relaxing.

Thank you Micheall for going above and beyond !!

Would like to thank you for a wonderful stay in our clean, comfy little suite located just above your mojito bar. Accommodations exceeded our expectation. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Took advantage of the buy one get one drink special, and appreciated visiting with bartender, Maureen. Be sure to try her fantastic piña colada. Pool area is beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Awesome stay! Thanks for everything and we highly recommend your hotel.

As soon as I walked in the office and was so graciously greeted by the ladies at the front desk, I felt this was going to be my new favorite place to stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a laid back friendly resort.

All the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable… even Gary Cooper, (an exile black cat from the Hemingway House… across the street),  who took to my husband and I like he belonged to us.  The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable especially for my nap after a morning of snorkeling with Sebago Water Sports!

It’s really within walking distance or if you prefer like we did have a nice cool taxi ride to Duval Street to visit Sloppy Joe’s and Hog’s Breath Saloon orhave a nice breakfast just right across the street at The Six Toed Cat.  And don’t forget just before sunset, take a trip to Mallory Square or to the Southern Most Point with the giant buoy to have your picture made!

Whichever, you prefer this place is centrally located.  If you feel like staying in….  the pool was nice and clean or you can play a game or two of corn hole!  Or have a cocktail and/or a snack on the grounds at the Mojito Bar and Cafe!

I missed you all (especially you Gary Cooper) as soon as I left!

Only one thing I would have wished… my stay could have been longer!

Thanks again for the hospitality,

The Ayers

We stayed at the Lighthouse Court during the week of July 5th 2015. As we had read prior to arrival, parking could be an issue, however, we were able to park directly in front of the hotel. We were greeted by a very professional and friendly staff member, Chelsie (sp) who took us through the check in process quickly. She was extremely friendly and as a “local” gave us several good suggestions for things to do and places to visit during our stay. The room was clean and neat and the staff kept it that way. The mojito bar and pool area were both enjoyable spots to sit and relax. The location allows for a 10 to 20 minute walk to most major points of interest and many places to eat, and drink of course. This was our first time staying in Key West and should we return, the Lighthouse Court would certainly be a place we would consider for our stay.
