We have been visiting Key West annually for the last 19 years and this is the first time we have stayed at Cypress House Hotel. It was a great experience.  We stayed here for a few days during Thanksgiving! We loved the fact that it was adult only and the location was great as it was close to Duval and to the marina/boardwalk side of the island. We were easily able to find parking on the street about 2 blocks away, so no need to pay for the garage. Although the breakfast was nice, everyday we looked forward to the “Liming Hour” (happy hour) at the hotel as it was a great mix of creative appetizers and cocktails. We will definitely be back…

There were 3 couples in our party, 2 couples shared a room which was suggested to us.  There are two separate bedrooms in that room AND it saved us money too. Thanks for the suggestion. Also we had requested that our rooms be close together and we actually were right next door! Laura assisted us at check-in and was very pleasant and courteous and helpful. I later went back to ask about restaurant and activity suggestions and she gave us so many ideas, along with discount tix to each.  The hotel is in the perfect spot, 1 block off of Duval St and centrally located to everything. Very pretty grounds. Enjoyed cornhole and sitting out under the umbrella tables. We rented a 6 passenger electric, open air car and loved exploring old Key West. Loved southern beach and Higgs beach. I would stay there again for sure. Thank you.

We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend for our 35th wedding anniversary. It was our first time staying at this hotel or at any of the Historic Key West Inns hotels. Our room was cozy and perfect! Hotel location was ideal too, as we spent most of our time exploring the island. We have been coming to Key West for over 40 years and return several times a year. Would definitely consider staying here again or at another of your hotels.

Now I was the 3rd time in one of your hotels and not the last time.

But next time I will ask for a room with a window to open or a private balcony, where the door can stay opend at night. I don’t like AC’s when it is cool outside at night.

herzliche Grüße

What a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Court Hotel. Off Duval’s chaos, but directly in the mix of it all. Small mojito bar out back for brekky and some libations with extra-friendly bar staff. Comfy beds, great bathrooms, even a cat named Gary Cooper who hangs out and loves lots of petting. If you’re considering a trip to KW and aren’t a binge-drinking tourist, this is the spot.

DIRECTLY across from Ernest Hemingway’s pad and directly next door to the lighthouse.

My husband and I stayed here when his ship came into the Navy base. He was only able to get off for 12 hours and we were able to have a mini getaway after not seeing each other for a long time. Chelsea House Hotel was the perfect place for us to get away. Everything was wonderful, the rooms were exactly as described, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. At the end of our stay we only wished we could stay longer! The breakfast by the pool was a nice finish to the stay, so beautiful like a private little oasis.

We were greeted by an amazing young lady, Lyenna.  She went above and beyond to make our stay here most comfortable.  We arrived a day early for our reservations and she made sure we had a nice romantic room. She had several other customers come in at the same time yet she did not rush us and spent the time to show us the room available and was very calm and cool with all these other customers waiting to get checked in.

The breakfast was wonderful out by the pool every morning.  We had a room with a patio on Truman Ave, nice rocking chairs out front to people watch.  The landscaping and the special touches in each room are highly evident.  These people take pride in their hotel.  Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping were so helpful and friendly.

They are a part of six hotels in the Historic District and we went to their Lighthouse Court Hotel and enjoyed the happy hour every day from 12-3p.  The key lime frozen mojitos are the best! The bartender and staff at this location were also extremely friendly.

The lighthouse museum is just about four blocks away as is the Famous Hemingway House.  We toured them both.  Great history and beautiful grounds.  A must see in KW.

Location is perfect, two blocks off Duval and about .5 mile to the beach.  You can’t get any better than this so stop looking and make your reservations here and enjoy the warm breezes along with the fabulous staff!  I know I’d never stay anywhere else in KW.

Thanks for all your hospitality!

We will be back!

Our stay was brief, but beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was relaxed yet professional — an instant source of vacation calm. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly smooth, and our room was perfect. We were a few steps from the pool and outdoor lounge areas. It was a beautiful spot to enjoy cool night breezes and early stars. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to a friend; its proximity to Old Town historic sites, the beach, and Duval Street made walking not only easy, but enjoyable. We had a great time, and hope to be back again sooner rather than later.

I have known Key West for 20 years, but have never stayed in a hotel in town before. I selected Chelsea House due to its great location and it exceeded 100% of my expectations. It is very clean, and the staff is superb.  The office staff is frankly off the charts in terms of pro-active accommodations for any need. They had coupons for practically every business in the Keys, and were smart and professional. Same for the whole staff.

The pool is clean, perfectly located and was heaven sent to me, an escapee from Manhattan in need of a break in the Conch Republic.

My room was luxurious: great bed, shower, cozy towels and pillows. Things that matter after some time in the pool and beach.

The hotel complimentary breakfast is among the best I have seen. Fresh fruit, lots of kinds of tea, and many other muffins and locally made bagels and cereals and so on.

I was able to walk everywhere in under 30 minutes from the hotel, and did, and was truly sad to leave.

I will be back!

Was a bit reluctant to book this hotel, felt small at first given other big hotel chains around in Key West, but my wife pushed me to book this hotel and She was right on the bang. The Hotel was excellent, a small paradise in Key West, clean, perfectly located one block from Duval street, 2 mins walk to major attractions .

It’s my third time visiting Key West but this stay gave me the experience which I never had with staying other places; location, ambience and hospitality. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone and would love to come back and stay with them. It’s worth the price.
