We stayed at the Albury Court.  Check-in is 3:00 – we were a half hour out at 1:30 and called and asked if we could check in early.  The woman at the desk was so accommodating – she said no problem; the rooms were already available.  That enabled us to start ‘out’ an hour earlier than we expected!

Their proximity to Duval Street is very do-able for walking.  That was important to us.  No need to bring your car.  We parked the car near the hotel and forgot about it until it was time to leave.

The rooms were very neat, clean and comfortable!  Breakfast in the morning was more than adequate.  Fresh bagels, croissants, cereal, fruit, yogurt – coffee, tea, hot chocolate – all served next to a very pretty pool.

Do we recommend Albury Court?  We sure do!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Lighthouse Court.  The price was very reasonable, the rooms were small but clean and tastefully decorated, the courtyard was private and comfortable, the staff was warm and inviting, and the location was just perfect!  I don’t have any negatives.  I will go back!

We took a spontaneous trip to Key West in February to get away from the cold winter weather in Ohio. We were traveling on a motorcycle and were caught in the rain. We were desperate to find some where to get out if the rain. While traveling down the Keys we met another couple on a motorcycle who recommended the Key Lime Inn for reasonable rates and a clean room. We called them and they didn’t have any rooms available, but the recommended we call The Albury Court.

The person that answered the phone was so helpful. They had a room available, but she told us to come over and we would get a “walk in” rate which is less than if we reserve a room on the phone. We arrived at the hotel, got a room for $169 per night. It was a great find! We loved the little court yard where free breakfast is served. They have all local made croissants, bagels, & muffins. The bagels were wonderful. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. We stayed in room 5 which is a handicap room. It had an awesome shower. Room was very clean and comfortable

We spent a very pleasant 2 days in Key West. We loved the food, the shops and the sunset on Malory Square.  Our stay at The Cypress House  was very enjoyable. We have already recommended it to friends and we will definitely stay there on our next visit.

My husband & I  just left the Merlin Guesthouse yesterday after a 3 night stay with 4 other couples. Each room is unique & clean & gorgeous; loved the fridge; loved the pool, all of the places to enjoy the outdoors; the breakfast outdoors, the location (walked everywhere) & everyone at the Merlin Guesthouse was so friendly & so so accommodating. I would recommend the place to anyone heading to Key West. If we return to Key West we will absolutely stay at the Merlin. Thanks so much!!

We were at the Key Lime Inn for one night, and wish it could have been for several more. We were warmly received at the registration desk, and our room was very nice. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the pool and pool area attractive.

After arriving in Key West and finding that our vacation rental, reserved and paid for on-line, was a scam, we were thinking of where we could stay. Luckily, I visit Key West, at least, once a month, so I knew we’d be OK. I had stayed at the Chelsea House, one of the Key West Historic Inns properties, which was lovely.

We were close to the Albury Court. We were very lucky to get a room, as there were three major events taking place in town. When we checked in, we were told we were the second group THAT DAY that were victims of cybercrime. There were three of us, a girls week, and our spirits were not to be dampened! Our room was perfect for us, #22, two queen beds, one with a fireplace, two TVs, two separately operated air conditioners, very quiet, a kitchen, huge bathroom with lots of counter space, a jacuzzi, and big walk-in shower, quite spacious, and Rusk bath products. There is also a semi-private patio for this room. Two suggestions, if possible, add a full-length mirror, perhaps on back of bathroom door, or, in the back bedroom. The other is that the floor around the outside of the shower needs a good scrubbing, some mildew.
There is a lovely pool area, almost like a private backyard, where continental breakfast is offered in the mornings. Albury Court is conveniently located, close to Duval St, Front St, etc. I do believe they are pet friendly, as well. If you have a car, street parking is not always available close by, especially on weekends, but, the public parking garage is very close, across the street, $13 a day. We parked there, never moved. Worth it for us. The entire staff was so kind and sympathetic to our circumstances, making changes to accommodate our extended stay, which I do realize is not always possible.

If you want that magical, relaxed Key West vibe, then Albury Court is a must.
