Our stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel was such a treat. We were the bride and groom and had a large number of family members staying here. Our personal experience was very good. Staff were attentive and friendly. Marie especially was awesome. The Hemingway Suite was gorgeous and the room we stayed in one night before that was great as well.

We did have a couple of minor issues with our room. One was that the curtain rod over the sliding door fell down and maintenance did come by to fix it, but they put ties around it so that we couldn’t then open the curtain, which made getting in and out a little awkward.

The other issue was that the curtains on one of the windows in the bedroom didn’t close properly, so at night there would be this one light shining through right where we were lying down on the bed. We didn’t alert anyone mostly because by the time we would realize or remember it was happening, it would be late and we just wanted to sleep. We devised a makeshift way to cover it but I wanted to mention it because I’m sure other guests will experience the same issue and I’m sure there is some kind of solution.

Other than those two minor things we had a fabulous time and would love to stay here again on our next trip!

I stayed at Lighthouse Court for two nights while working in Key West. The hotel had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere and everything I needed. The internet was fast and I was able to get everywhere easily by foot. When I arrived after a very long day of travel Laura at the front desk was incredibly warm and welcoming. She provided me with much needed information and suggested activities I could fit in around my work schedule. When I returned the next night after working all day she again welcomed me cheerfully and chatted with me about my day. You will feel welcome and at ease at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. I would recommend it to any friend!

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to provide this review.  I was working in Key West last week and needed to find a place to stay on short notice and found the Chelsea House.  The staff was great and super friendly and really accommodating for my needs.  The grounds were awesome and the room was super nice and clean.  I had a great one night stay that exceeded my expectations and when I woke up the pool looked so inviting.  I had to go but would easily stay there again for a vacation.  Thanks again for running such a nice place!

Yes, we were very happy with our stay at the Merlin Guesthouse. We were checked in by a very agreeable fellow, Kenneth. He gave us an upgrade to a King room. It turned out to be right next to the office by the pool, so we couldn’t have been happier. the pool is small, but nice and comfortable and great for a refreshing dip. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting.

We stayed for two nights. This was our first visit to Key West. We took the 4 hr Key West Express and we took our bicycles to the island, highly recommended as we saw much of Key West by biking around. wish we could have stayed longer, and we will next time.
We ate lunch across the street at the “Off the Hook” (small) restaurant, recommended by Ken. The next night we ate a magnificent Italian dinner at “Abbondanza” located a few blocks down turning left on Simonton St.
the complimentary continental breakfast at Merlin Guesthouse was very nice with a good variety of food to choose from and delicious coffee. Very relaxing.
Recommend a visit to the Ecological institute (free) by the State park.
We enjoyed Duval Street at night, browsing and shopping in the many bars and shops.

We would definitely return to the Merlin Guesthouse on our next trip to Key West.
It was just what we were looking for in a first visit: clean, relatively inexpensive, relaxing tropical atmosphere, very good location in downtown and quiet (we visited in November).

Stayed at Merlin Guesthouse 11/14/15. -11/20/15 and loved it. A very warm & welcoming place. Office personnel were super friendly with suggestions for great places to go. Loved our room 16. Very comfortable. We had a problem with hot water one day but it was fixed right away. Breakfast was great served daily out by the pool. Location is perfect close to Duval street but not in the middle of all the noise.  Thanks for helping to make our first trip to Key West a great one.

Lighthouse Court Hotel received us in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, especially at the reception, is very friendly, helpful and professional. Smooth check-in/check-out. The rooms are very clean, nicely and tastefully furnished/decorated and absolutely inviting. We loved the courtyard which welcomed us to stay for breakfast or for a drink from the hotel bar, enjoying the pool or just relaxing. Location is unbeatable – everything in walking distance (Hemingway house just across the street). Cheers to everyone who takes care of the hotel and its guests, including the hotel cat Gary Cooper. Hotel and service are worth the price. Absolutely recommended!

My wife and I have visited Key West annually over the past three years.  Previously, we stayed at the larger, more crowded, hotel/resorts.  We found the Key Lime Inn provided everything we could ask for.  It was close to the activity that attracts us to Key West; however, provided a quaint and relaxing environment to escape to. The staff was very attentive and the room exceptionally well maintained. We would highly recommend the Key Lime Inn and look forward to our next stay.

I recently had the good fortune to stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. First, the Hotel has very reasonable rates and is in a very convenient location to everything you might want to see and do in Key West.   Second, the Hotel itself is fantastic.   My room was comfortable and clean.   The included continental breakfast is just enough to get your day started and the pool side Mojito bar makes for a lovely spot to have a late afternoon drink before going out to explore the Key West nightlife.  I will definitely be staying at the Lighthouse Court Hotel on my next visit to Key West and would highly recommend it to others coming to Key West.

Key Lime Inn is a well kept place with all the things you need! Staff was great, place was clean! Close enough to the main strip to walk but yet far enough away you don’t have to hear it! Thanxs for a great stay!
