This is our 2nd stay at Cypress House Hotel and 3rd stay to date at one of their Historic Key West Inns hotels.   While all of our stays have been great our favorite has been Cypress House.  We stayed in the main house and loved the spacious room, private porch, modern amenities and old Key West charm. The staff was great, making us feel right at home, from check in to departure (Scott was great at check in).   Also you can’t beat the location…. minutes from Mallory Square or Duval St. We say that we will try staying somewhere different “next time” but we always seem to gravitate back.

Looking forward to our next trip.

A charming place, very well located with a nice staff. A convenient breakfast is at your disposal near the swimming pool, just what you need to begin a good day!

I cannot express how ready I am to go back to Key West already! I would stay at the Cypress House Hotel again in a heartbeat. From the moment we arrived, each and every employee exhibited excellent service and willingness to help us feel at home. They were knowledgeable about the local area and more than helpful then we had ever expected. We felt comfortable and more welcomed than ever before. Our room was absolutely beautiful. It was private, quiet, and comfortable. Not to mention the historical construction and stunning architecture. It was extremely inviting and clean.

The housekeeping staff was polite and adequate in all aspects. The check-in and check-out process was super easy. In fact, when it was time to head back to the airport, an employee arranged a taxi for us so we had nothing to worry about. Check out time was at 11:00 am, however, they invited us back for their awesome liming hour which was at 4:30 pm because our taxi wasn’t coming until 5:00 pm! I thought that was so nice! When we do return to Key West I definitely will be staying at the Cypress House again. We had an amazing time and I would and have already recommended the hotel to several people. Some of our favorite places in Key West were the Rum Bar, Turtle Kraals, and Louie’s Backyard. But then again, when you’re in Key West, every place is a favorite!

My friend and I came and stayed 2 nights and 3 days. We found the house was full of friendly hospitality by the staff. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and Brenda who was most helpful with great info about hot spots. Also Matthew was great very friendly and helpful especially with the coffee maker in the office. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again. Room was clean and met all standards of cleanliness.  Great Place to Stay 🙂

The hotel staff is very helpful! On my way to check-in, I was having difficulty finding parking so I called the hotel to find out where would be the easiest place to park. Rose answered the call and stayed on the phone with me until I reached the guest parking. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. I would definitely suggest the Lighthouse Court Hotel to stay in Key West. Also, check out the Ernest Hemingway House as it is directly across the street.

Not having been to Key West before, we really weren’t sure where to book our hotel in town.  Fortunately we found the Merlin Guest House! It happens to be within walking distance to Duval St., many shops and restaurants, and almost all the main attractions.

The grounds at the Merlin are lovely and tropical, and there is off street parking for a small daily fee. We made use of both the spa pool and the communal patio area and completely enjoyed both, especially when Jordan Del Gato was in residence to oversee all the fun.  What a charming cat!

Our room was a king with a private patio.  The room itself was spotless.  Both the bedroom and bath contained all the basics and were a good size, as was the closet.  The bed was very comfortable.   We would have liked to have found bottled water in the fridge, and perhaps a few hooks in the bathroom, but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to future guests.

This was our second stay at Key Lime Inn. It was just as good as last year. The accommodations are excellent and the location can’t be beat for access to restaurants, beaches and the ever active Duval St. The staff is friendly and always ready to accommodate your needs. We are already taking about returning next year.

We traveled for Easter weekend 2015, and our Merlin Guest House experience was so great, we booked the exact same trip for 2016! Upgrade to King Suite or choose economy to save.  Either way, your room is spotless, facilities in perfect working order, pool is refreshing, breakfast sufficient, and hospitality unwavering.  Things I appreciate: room cleaned EARLY… in case you need a siesta, free water cooler… saves bottled water for post-Duval rehydration, and Jordan del gato… if you’re missing your own kitty while away.  Book now, see you there.  Looking forward to 2017 🙂

A wonderful stay. The room was neat, clean, and spotless. The housekeeping and maintenance were superb. We had some trouble with the cable TV connection and two maintenance technicians jumped right on the problem and did not give up until it was solved. The hotel concierge (Lyenna) was very knowledgeable and helpful (locating and reserving a sunset sail and recommending several good restaurants). Everyone on staff was cheerful and welcoming. We would gladly return and recommend Chelsea House Hotel. Thanks!

This was our 4th stay at Key Lime Inn. We had a great king room, which was spacious, clean and quite comfortable for our 5 night stay. The staff was tremendous, as always! We love the pool and the large sundeck. The grounds are quiet and shaded by palms. The location is ideal for walking or biking to most everything. Truman can get a little noisy with traffic but this usually tapers off by late evening. My wife and I love this hotel!
