We stayed for 3 nights during September 2015.  We enjoyed the room, the pool area, and the poolside bar.  We also enjoyed the free breakfasts.  The hotel is quiet while still in a centralized and convenient area.  Even though we had a car, we walked everywhere on the island.  Very enjoyable experience!

Enjoyed it, staff very friendly. Only one complaint, our room faced the street and it was noisy some nights!

We were warmly greeted and the property was cozy and beautiful. The colors and decor were relaxing. The rooms were updated and so cute. Biker friendly!!! Location is central to Duval and US-1. Easy in- Easy out. Will definitely return and recommend!!!!!

Everything about the Cypress House was ideal. Our room was large and comfortable. The location was within walking distance to our favorite attractions. Everything was clean and well kept.  I can’t say enough about the helpful staff.  A great place!

I highly recommend this hotel. The facility is not only beautiful but clean and well staffed. Unlike other places in Kwest where some of the guests may be a bit belligerent this is a great place for families and a more mature crowd. The front desk/reception lady (I wish I remembered her name!) was amazing and super hospitable and nice. I’m definitely staying here again! :) Thank you Merlin Guesthouse!

I travel to Key West twice a month on a thursday and stay overnight to work the next day.  Then it’s back to home in Fort Lauderdale.  The Merlin Guesthouse is conveniently located in Old Town, next to great restaurants.  The amenities are nice and adequate; free breakfast, nice pool etc.. and the rooms are clean and very tastefully done in the “Old Key West” style. Love this Guesthouse and can’t wait to bring my wife and kids here for vacation. Check out Off The Hook restaurant across the street.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the staff was so courteous and helpful.  It’s a quaint place and right in the center of all the best sites to see, including Duval Street, the Southernmost point, across the street from Ernest Hemingway’s house and the one of the best meals we had at the Six-Toed Cat!   We loved the continental breakfast and having mojitos in the evening at the bar.  The room was comfortable and cool at night!  I’d say it was an A+ HOTEL!
