We had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Court Hotel. Cute hotel in a perfect location.

We stayed at the Merlin Guest House for New Years 2015/2016. We loved our room, the pool & patio area as well as the breakfast every morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and much larger than we expected with lots of extras. We are already planning a trip back and we want to stay in the same room as our last trip.

Entire experience from checking in to leaving (which we didn’t want to do) was wonderful.  Everyone was professional, courteous, responsive.  The room was small but clean and comfy.  Highly recommend, and have, in fact, done just that.

Really enjoyed La Ti Da on Duval Street.  Nice music and dancing for seniors (over 55) when we were there.

And HOPE I win since it will bring be back sooner — though I will be back.

We stayed 3 nights over New Years and had a great time.  The happy hour and breakfast were an added bonus. We will stay here again on our next visit.

We knew the minute we entered the room that care and thoughtfulness went into managing the hotel. The room was clean and has modern interior finishes while maintaining the olde charm.

Kenneth was most helpful in getting us settled in and was friendly and informative through out our stay. We also enjoyed lunch and dinner just across the street at “Off the Hook ‘ restaurant.  We would most definitely consider staying here again.

Thanks for the opportunity to let you know about our stay. Check in was not easy but to no fault of the staff. Just bad timing. Ernesto was at the desk and handled a bit of craziness with proffesionalism. He should be commended, he was very professional and calm during a time most may have lost it.
The room was as I expected from the website. Shower was small and a clock would be helpful. Small table or shelf in the bathroom would be a nice addition also.
The pool was nice.
Breakfast was better than expected.
The staff out and about the hotel were friendly.
I hope to stay again and would recommend this hotel.
One our best moments in key west was the boat ride “commotion on the ocean”. Highly recommend that!
Thanks again for asking about our stay, see you soon, Jeanne Cilmi

Hello! I was lucky enough to stay at the Key Lime Inn for (6) nights arriving on Dec 28, 2015. What a great, cozy, tropical environment indeed. My hotel room was part of a cottage structure so it was more of a home than a hotel room. I enjoyed a big room, great bed, quiet surroundings, big bathroom, and amply AC. The hospitality by the staff was perfect, spot on! Check in/out was a tropical breeze, easy! What a great vacation! We dined all over old Town Key West, loved Blue Heaven, Mangia Mangia, The Porch, Grand Vin and so many others. Wandering up and down Duval is fun, relaxing and a requirement for all travelers. Our New Year’s Eve on Key West was probably our best in years!! I can’t wait to come back later this year hopefully.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast by the pool was great. A little annoyed at the sign saying we shouldn’t take ice to fill our cooler. Most guests probably don’t even travel with their coolers, but we do, and splurged for just one night in Key West. Surely you could happily dispense ice for those who try to economize by keeping food and drinks in coolers! Nice plantings, comfortable beds, great location, and appreciated the late checkout.

Me, my husband, and 8-year old daughter stayed at Lighthouse Court 12/28-1/3 and had a fantastic time.  Although the hotel is tailored to couples, we felt completely welcome with our daughter.  Service was excellent.  We were greeted warmly when we arrived, and housekeeping was always on point and never obtrusive. It was lovely to relax around the pool–which was never too crowded even during the busy week.  Lighthouse Court is in a really great location.  We loved being across the street from the Hemingway House and close to Blue Heaven (our favorite Key West experience). We had an amazing time and cannot wait to return.

We had such an amazing time in Key West! Enhanced by our stay at Merlin Guest House. I could tell you many of the things I liked about The Merlin but I think this story pretty much sums up the level of care you receive from the staff.  We were three old friends meeting up in Key West for New Years. I forgot to make dinner reservations. I called many places which were, of course, all full. I called the Merlin and asked if they had any suggestions of what I might do. Kenneth said there was a place right across the street that they really liked, would I like him to go over and see what he could do? I said yes! Kenneth actually went across the street to see if he might be able to secure us a New Years Eve dinner. He called me back to say that the problem was solved, we had seats at the time we had hoped for! The food and service at Deuces Off the Hook was top notch!  Donna was at The Merlin to greet us when we checked in. She was so friendly and happy to see us! Everything was already in order. Check in took just a couple of minutes!  She walked back to our room with us, assisted us with our parking area, showed us where breakfast would be served, where to get ice and soda… she didn’t just tell us. She personally showed us! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Key West! I would also like to commend Leela, the bartender at their sister property the Lighthouse Court Hotel. The best margarita I have ever had! She was delightful and knew her business! I look forward to returning to The Merlin Guest House again and again.
