My husband and I stayed at the Cypress House Hotel from Monday September 28 until we had to leave on October 7, 2015.  We love the Cypress House.  We stayed in one of the ADA rooms and our friends occupied a room right across the deck from us.  We had a small but totally adequate room for our needs and a whole deck outside to play cards, drink wine and just chat or wait until our group was together.  We enjoyed the pool, several of the evening “get togethers”  and the morning breakfasts.  The Cypress House location is for us the best!  (ok the staff is great too).  Close enough to walk to Duval Street or down to the water (I guess there is water everywhere!)  We are at a number of places – we were there 9 days and enjoyed them all:  The Raw Bar, Harpoon Harry’s, Chicago, Smokin’ Tuna, Carolines and a bit of a hike but Onlywood was great –much more than pizza and Tuesday night is 1/2 price wine night!

One thing that will not be important to most guests but was very important to us was the Island Mobility delivered a motorized wheelchair/scooter to the Cypress House before our arrival and picked it up after we left.

Thanks to the Cypress House Hotel staff and Island Mobility for that special care and service – I hope we are back soon.

We originally booked for 5 nights but fairly quickly extended our stay to 10 nights based on how much we liked Key West and how comfortable we were in this hotel.

In our view the hotel is in a perfect location to allow you the opportunity to explore Key West on foot and giving you a place to sit around a pool and relax when you tire of sight seeing.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and professionally run. However the real bonus were the staff all of whom were friendly, cheerfull and helpful. We were given many good tips on where to eat, drink etc and what sights we should visit.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

The front desk staff was very cheery and helpful.  The room was clean and away from the noise on Eaton St.  The Check IN/OUT process was quick and painless. And yes, Albury Court Hotel is now on my short list for lodging in KW.

Key Lime Inn was great – no complaints! We loved the oasis-like pool, breakfast exceeded expectations, and the staff was friendly and courteous. Thanks for a memorable Key West experience!

Stayed here for a family wedding and really enjoyed the hotel stay. Very friendly staff and very clean and modern room, however no place in bathroom to keep our toiletries. Check-in was easy and parking for check-in is very limited. But once the car was parked, didn’t need it for the rest of the stay- great location- close to everything. Would stay here again.

What a charming and unique hotel!  My husband and I spent two nights at this hotel and loved it.  We were in town for my niece’s wedding and the location of the hotel to the wedding festivities was very convenient.  The hotel staff was very helpful in giving advice on where to park within the city and avoiding residential parking that may result in an unexpected parking ticket.  The hotel staff also helped me find the hotel that my niece was staying at and the best way to walk to that location.  I would defiantly stay here again on our next trip to Key West!

Hello,

My fiancée and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel 3/16-3/18 & for the second time–this stay was fantastic! Upon check in I met Laura who was so helpful and kind. She offered suggestions on local bars (after I advised her we were here for St. Patrick’s celebrations), helped us park and even helped carry luggage up the stairs! When we returned to our upgraded room (thanks for the 2nd stay reward!) there was a bottle of champagne to celebrate our 1st year engaged? Last year the love of my life proposed to me on the swing outside of your pool deck & it was very sweet that Laura helped make our stay special. We look forward to our stay there again after we marry in Key Largo:)

Best Regards,

Rose

We had a wonderful stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for three nights during what was Spring Break week.  It started with Laura at the reception desk.  She was very professional and friendly and immediately asked questions of our interests and expectations and gave us a handful of discount tickets for local restaurants and attractions and an overall view of the happenings around Key West.  The property was clean and the other staff were very friendly as we encountered them during our stay.  The room, though small, was clean and very quiet and served our purposes.  It is a great location and I recommended your hotel to the person next to me on the plane from Dallas to Shanghai.  Continue the good work.

Given that it would be spring break when I arrived at Key West, I insisted on a place to stay prior to arriving.  It can be difficult to do this online but the website for the Historic Key West Inns hotels made this pretty easy.

One of the photos showed a series of motorcycles and since I would be traveling by motorcycle to Key West I called the hotel to get additional information.  Not only are they friendly to motorcycle riders, they provide a board you can place beneath your kickstand to keep the bike from falling over in the mulch.  So not only can you park close to your hotel room, but they help you to help keep your bike upright.

This really demonstrates their commitment to customer service and is one of the many reasons they earn a five star rating from me.

The room I stayed in had plenty of space, nice hardwood (or laminate) floors, a comfortable bed and nice shower.  The location cannot be beat as you are close to Duvall street and all the action that happens.  A big plus is that while close to Duval, you are far enough away from the marina where all the bars and tours are based so you don’t get the rowdy beach scene.

My future stays in Key West will also be at the Key Lime Inn or another one of their other Historic Key West Inns hotels.
