We had an amazing experience at the Merlin Guesthouse. The staff was so nice, we were a little late getting in and the women at the front desk stayed late to wait for us to get in. The location was perfect, just a block from town. It was like a hidden secret from the 4th of July madness, very clean  and relaxing. We will definitely be staying again!

I just retuned from a wonderful 3 nights at the Cypress House and my first visit to the Florida Keys. The staff was wonderful and the facility was beautiful. We enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast around the pool and when taking a break at the afternoon happy hour before heading out for our evenings in Key West. The hotel was centrally located allowing us to walk to everything (and making it easy to take a mid-afternoon break and cool off in the pool). We would absolutely book the hotel again on a return visit to Key West.

My husband & I had a wonderful time at the Chelsea House Pool & Gardens! We stayed for our honeymoon the 1st week of June & could not have had a more relaxing time :) The staff was nothing but extremely helpful!! We received help on info for excursions, calling a taxi & always received a friendly smile! Our room was always clean & we enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere, as well as, the pool & breakfast each morning! We will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Key West at Albury Court!  The hotel/B&B was within 10 minutes walking distance to the action on Duval St and Mallory Square, but is in a quiet neighbourhood so you can escape the noise and just relax.  The room was clean and nicely done up, with helpful amenities such as a coffee maker and fridge (and eco-friendly toiletries!  Loved this!), so we could store food for picnics.  The pool and patio were really nice spots for relaxing, and the breakfast provided lots of options – local pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs etc.  The staff were really helpful and friendly, and quick to help. All in all a really nice spot for relaxing with easy access to everything in Key West!

We recently stayed at the Merlin Guesthouse. It was a great experience. The location is perfect for those who want to explore Key West. Everything is within walking distance. The Guesthouse is quant and clean. From the moment we checked in until we left, everyone treated us as family. We arrived in Key West from the Ft. Myer’s Ferry Express. It is about 8 short blocks to the Guesthouse, we only had carry on bags and the walk was not a problem, flat, nice sidewalks, gift shops to explore along the way. I would recommend The Green Parrot and Willie T’s if you are looking for music. Both had excellent bands.

Thanks for the hospitality!!

We were in town for a wedding and spent 2 nights at the Key Lime Inn during early June.  The weather was rainy, breezy, and extremely humid.  The air conditioning in our room kept up with the moisture levels.  The room was large and very comfortable with its own patio, the grounds are planted with  tropical trees and the ground is covered by wood mulch.  It is surprising how peaceful our stay was considering Duval Street is just a couple of blocks away.  There was plenty of room at the pool for cooling off, and the patio also served as the seating for breakfast, which was convenient.  The shining star of our stay were the staff.  Always warm and inviting, they provided reviews of out-of-the-way spots for dinner and sight seeing.  They even loaned us an armload of umbrellas and panchos to take to the wedding, just in case.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back.

We stayed at the Key Lime Inn for 3 nights over the weekend of Father’s Day and the solstice, our first-ever visit to Key West, and were very happy with our choice. Our room was a charming cottage, rustic on the outside but completely modern on the inside, and provided every amenity we needed – a comfortable bed, good flat screen TV, coffeemaker, small refrigerator, quiet and effective AC, and a great shower. Our concerns about street and cabaret noise were quickly allayed, as the Inn is in a quiet neighborhood and across the street from a church. We were able to walk to various places quite easily, and to catch the trolley just a few blocks away. The breakfasts outside next to the pool offered a good selection of tasty options, and we enjoyed meeting some of the other guests there. Finally, the front-desk staff was friendly and helpful in helping us pick some restaurants and activities. Key Lime Inn is now definitely our go-to choice for staying in Key West, and we recommend it to our friends.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Key Lime Inn in June of 2015. The Key Lime Inn was great! Especially for the price. We were able to walk to all the main spots on the Island. When we showed up I was very excited to see how cute the Inn was. When booking alone it is hard to know what you are getting yourself into. Check in and check out was speedy and efficient. The rooms were clean and very cute! The pool was clean and a nice spot to hang out by on a hot Key West day. I would defiantly recommended this hotel to anyone I know and I would stay there again.

Key West is an awesome place to vacation. We hit the lighthouse, the southern most point, Louies Backyard, Schooners, Blue Heaven, and we did a sunset cruise. Can’t wait to go back to Key West one day soon and it may just been for my destination wedding.

My husband and I visit Key West for our annual “Kid Free” vacation, and starting in 2011, we began staying at the Chelsea House.  From day one, we have never had a single disappointing moment.  When originally shopping for a hotel, we knew we wanted to be close enough to the restaurants and shops on Duval Street, but far enough away to also avoid the noise and chaos.  Chelsea House is in the perfect location for us.  It’s an easy walk to most places (we always end up renting a scooter – because, hey, we are on vacation and I’m usually too stuffed from eating far too much seafood to walk ANYWHERE), and the rooms are quiet when you’re ready to hit the sack.

I honestly can’t point out any particular outstanding service than what we received from EVERYONE.  The office staff was incredibly friendly and more than helpful, the housekeeping staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating, and even the maintenance staff was wonderful when my hairdryer caused the breaker to flip!  (I was back to drying my hair within minutes!)

The rooms are gorgeous (we have had the same room for three years but have stayed in two different ones on other visits).  The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and it is the perfect place to come back to after a long day at the beach or just sightseeing.

We will continue to return to the Chelsea House each year, and look forward to seeing all of the familiar staff faces who have now become friends.

Thank you for another amazing visit.  It’s only been four days, but I’m ready to come back!  :)
