Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very welcoming staff and some great help from Matt. Breakfast was good although unusual heavy rain made it difficult to find somewhere to sit out of the wet.

I travel to key west twice a month for work and always stay at the Merlin if there is a room available. The location, staff, rooms and breakfast are all fantastic. The hotel is in the heart of old town, convenient to everything in key west. The staff at the front desk is very helpful and courteous. The Merlin is also close to some of my favorite key west restaurants. Reasonably and competitively priced, the Merlin Guesthouse is a winner!!!

One of the best hotels we have stayed at!  Our room was huge and I thought the price was super. It was just far enough off Duval to have a quite retreat, but close enough to walk to everything.  The staff was friendly and welcoming.  I will be back next time I come to the Keys!!

It rained most of the time we were there, but we drank and walked around….the staff gave us ponchos and umbrellas/etc….they were so helpful.  We loved the property and would stay again.

We arranged our trip to Key West to coincide with my husband’s birthday.  We couldn’t have chosen a better place.  The Lighthouse Court Hotel met all our expectations and more.  I couldn’t single out one particular person for praise as all the staff from the front desk to those who looked after our room were excellent.  We even had a surprise bottle of sparking wine in our room to celebrate  my husband’s birthday.  The location was excellent, very central and within easy walking distance of all the attractions.  The room we had was private and very well appointed.  We would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely return ourselves.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. We had a wonderful, clean room with plenty of space. The staff were all very friendly and gave us a smooth check-in and check-out process. We rented scooters from right down the block (A&J) and had the best time going in and out of the hotel because of its close location to everywhere we wanted to go.

Would stay again in a heartbeat and highly recommend for people looking to be in walking distance of old town.

We came down for Thanksgiving 2015, and enjoyed our stay at Lighthouse Court! Perfect location, great rooms and great service! Not to mention the fabulous Mojito bar! I’ve stayed at 2 other Historic Key West Inns hotels before, and they are always top notch! I’ve stayed at other places too in Key West, and these spoiled me! Another great stay, and we look forward to staying at another one of your Hotels in the future! Thanks for the hospitality, and until next time! :)

Great time, nice relaxing area. Pool was very, very nice. Staff always greeted us with a smile and a greeting. Great location middle of duval st area of key west and just a block from duval.

Only negative was the flat, uncomfortable pillows on the bed. We like them bigger and were there for 4 nights and they never got better.

Will I stay there again, absolutely.

I would stay here again. Rooms are clean. It’s close enough to everything but yet far enough away for some R&R. Staff was every helpful with any question we had.

This is a great hotel.  Ideally located so that a pleasant stroll is all you need to get around town.  The check in was quick and easy with friendly staff to greet you, the rooms are amazing.  A short walk across the bark covered ground, past the swing chair hung from a tree takes you to your room, the door of which has a porch and opens on to the courtyard.  It is well set back from the road meaning minimal if any traffic noise.

Roomy and very well appointed, a back door leads out to a private patio area sizeable enough to sit out and enjoy the wonderful climate in November.

We ate at the Conch Republic Seafood Company, a real treat for fish lovers especially!

Overall, a highly recommended hotel, definitely our first choice for any return visit.
