We love the Cypress House! On arrival, Scott was very helpful and accommodating, setting us up in a great room on the middle floor with a wonderful balcony. So close to Duval street, the location couldn’t be better for us. Loved waking up to a surprise of something new for breakfast every morning, in a cool old fashioned style kitchen. The apps and drinks were a great late afternoon pick me up. On leaving, a nice very informative staff member told us about Alabama jacks to stop at on the way back. Great local seafood, was a nice suggestion. Thank you very much for making my birthday weekend so memorable. :)

It was thoroughly enjoyable.  Dennis and the staff could not have been more accommodating.  I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

Room was clean and quiet. Bath fixtures updated, linens and towels nice. Room was just a little smaller than in previous visits.  Nice breakfast spread.

I recently stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel, and it was great!!! The rooms were really nice and the beds were comfortable. It looked like all of the bathrooms and bedrooms had been updated, and we had a small kitchen area. The pool was a little small and parking was a little hard to find on-sight, but they offered their second parking lot that was 2 blocks way and was free. We didn’t have any issue with parking our car there for the 2 days we were on the property. It is a great location and is close to both the southernmost point and Duval Street. As for the staff, they were very polite and accommodating. We rented two double rooms, and they called ahead that morning to see if we would like two adjoining door unlocked and opened for us. On the one day that we had heavy rain, they gave us complimentary ponchos. That was a very nice and unique touch. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and would stay here again.

My husband and I just spent our first time in Key West for our honeymoon following our wedding in Las Vegas. When we called to book the room, the staff was warm and knowledgeable right off the bat.  We checked in with Marie who was so friendly and welcoming and congratulated on our nuptials! She provided us all the information we’d need and even called to tell me our car was in a guest spot so we didn’t need to worry about relocating to the off-site lot after we unloaded our car, which was very nice.

We had a lovely note and bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room as a Congratulations – very sweet start to the trip!

The rooms and the grounds were clean and updated and very modern. We had a very lovely stay – no issues to speak of!

Thanks again for the hospitality! We can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I drove to key west from naples looking for 3 nights of relaxation, we weren’t disappointed, the Chelsea House is lovely, we had room 33a and it was spacious, clean and had everything you need. The hotel is in a great location and easy for Duval Street. And other attractions, house staff all pleasant and very courteous to all guests. Unfortunately we got a day and a half of rain but this didn’t detract from the fact we enjoyed our stay at Chelsea House, will book again next time we’re in the USA.

Great convenient location to all the attractions in Key West. Employees pleasant and helpful. Breakfast exactly as they advertised. Suggestions for the Chelsea House Pool & Gardens would be to place the fruit in the shade and the coffee pots in the sun during breakfast.  Also, an available microwave for guests would be useful.

The staff was very nice and attentive. The property is very cute and really captures the Key West feel. The pool was a good size where you did not feel crowded with other guests but not too big that you felt you were in a large impersonal hotel. The rooms were great. They were clean and comfortable.

We had a great time and will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 wonderful nights. It was our first time ever at a boutique hotel and it was amazingly! The staff was so friendly and helped us with suggestions of places to eat and things to see. The room was better than we anticipated!! This was our first visit to the keys and thanks to everyone at Chelsea House it was a memory we’ll have for years to come. The breakfast was so delicious with many options and the staff who replenished it was so very friendly. The location was ideal!! Not to far but not to close from the hustle and bustle. The gardens were beautiful with plenty of seating space in the shade as well as in the sun. The pool was inviting and beautifully well kept. I could go on and on. This place is a true gem!!! If you haven’t been here you don’t know what your missing!!We hope to return to the keys in the near future and we can assure you this is the only place we will stay!! Hats off to the owners-you having a remarkable staff who made us feel very at home!!!

The only reason I gave Cypress House Hotel 4 stars is due to an uncomfortable mattress and being above the kitchen. Neither are worth complaining about because it’s just a matter of preference. The bed was fine for the 2 nights I stayed, but my bad back prefers something softer. Also, we were right above the kitchen, and while the kitchen is not a loud place, I could still hear some of the noise through in the early morning hours.

The rooms are spacious and gorgeous, the grounds are nice, and both front desk men were so very nice and informative. Rather than researching other places to stay in Key West, I’d stay here again because I know I like it and I enjoyed feeling so welcomed, safe,  and close to everything.
