My husband and I have spent our Key West vacations at the Key Lime Inn for many years.  Just a lovely location, and the staff is very welcoming.  We are already looking forward to our next visit!

I am always hesitant when entering a hotel room for the first time but was very relieved upon opening the door to our room.  Although our room size was on the small size, it’s shiny clean and tastefully decorated. The grounds are well kept and the staff was always polite and helpful.

Also loved the location, easy walking distance to all the attractions yet far enough to be quiet and serene. When in the area, check out Willie T’s. Great music, food and atmosphere.  Definitely would recommend and we plan on returning.

I have stayed at the Chelsea House for many years, it is my go to place to stay. If I can’t get a room, I’ve stayed at the Lighthouse Court and the Merlin Guesthouse, all of them their hotels. This particular trip, Lyena ( not sure of spelling ) was the best. Very polite and respectful and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We ask to move rooms where the A/C was not over the bed and she was more than happy to help us in the process.

I recommend the Chelsea House to anyone looking to head to Key West. I grew up and live in Miami and make it down to KW as often as possible. I will be back to the Chelsea House again in 2016! Thank you for your hospitality and service.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Chelsea House in November 2015. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Included continental breakfast was good and it was very pleasant to sit poolside enjoying it and chat with other guests. Your staff could not have been more helpful both at check in and during our stay. Special mention for John, and the young ladies, I’m sorry I can’t remember their names (one originally from Russia and the other for a Caribbean island).  All of them added to the enjoyment of our stay and could not have been more helpful. Will definitely recommend your hotel to others visiting Key West.

The recommendations regarding the Mexican restaurant on Duval street and Antonio’s we took up and were excellent. We also enjoyed hiring a motor scooter from the Moped hospital just down the street from you. This enabled us to cover more of Key West and park easily. Staff there also very helpful. Keep up the good work.

Our stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel was such a treat. We were the bride and groom and had a large number of family members staying here. Our personal experience was very good. Staff were attentive and friendly. Marie especially was awesome. The Hemingway Suite was gorgeous and the room we stayed in one night before that was great as well.

We did have a couple of minor issues with our room. One was that the curtain rod over the sliding door fell down and maintenance did come by to fix it, but they put ties around it so that we couldn’t then open the curtain, which made getting in and out a little awkward.

The other issue was that the curtains on one of the windows in the bedroom didn’t close properly, so at night there would be this one light shining through right where we were lying down on the bed. We didn’t alert anyone mostly because by the time we would realize or remember it was happening, it would be late and we just wanted to sleep. We devised a makeshift way to cover it but I wanted to mention it because I’m sure other guests will experience the same issue and I’m sure there is some kind of solution.

Other than those two minor things we had a fabulous time and would love to stay here again on our next trip!

I stayed at Lighthouse Court for two nights while working in Key West. The hotel had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere and everything I needed. The internet was fast and I was able to get everywhere easily by foot. When I arrived after a very long day of travel Laura at the front desk was incredibly warm and welcoming. She provided me with much needed information and suggested activities I could fit in around my work schedule. When I returned the next night after working all day she again welcomed me cheerfully and chatted with me about my day. You will feel welcome and at ease at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. I would recommend it to any friend!

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to provide this review.  I was working in Key West last week and needed to find a place to stay on short notice and found the Chelsea House.  The staff was great and super friendly and really accommodating for my needs.  The grounds were awesome and the room was super nice and clean.  I had a great one night stay that exceeded my expectations and when I woke up the pool looked so inviting.  I had to go but would easily stay there again for a vacation.  Thanks again for running such a nice place!

Yes, we were very happy with our stay at the Merlin Guesthouse. We were checked in by a very agreeable fellow, Kenneth. He gave us an upgrade to a King room. It turned out to be right next to the office by the pool, so we couldn’t have been happier. the pool is small, but nice and comfortable and great for a refreshing dip. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting.

We stayed for two nights. This was our first visit to Key West. We took the 4 hr Key West Express and we took our bicycles to the island, highly recommended as we saw much of Key West by biking around. wish we could have stayed longer, and we will next time.
We ate lunch across the street at the “Off the Hook” (small) restaurant, recommended by Ken. The next night we ate a magnificent Italian dinner at “Abbondanza” located a few blocks down turning left on Simonton St.
the complimentary continental breakfast at Merlin Guesthouse was very nice with a good variety of food to choose from and delicious coffee. Very relaxing.
Recommend a visit to the Ecological institute (free) by the State park.
We enjoyed Duval Street at night, browsing and shopping in the many bars and shops.

We would definitely return to the Merlin Guesthouse on our next trip to Key West.
It was just what we were looking for in a first visit: clean, relatively inexpensive, relaxing tropical atmosphere, very good location in downtown and quiet (we visited in November).
