My wife and I had a very pleasant stay at the Key Lime Inn. The Cottages are very clean and quiet. The pool area was well kept and the pool water was warm and refreshing. The whole time we stayed it was quiet and the staff was very knowledgeable of the area as well as being courteous and helpful. the only reason we scored a 4 instead of a 5 was the beds were a lot firmer then we were used to. The response was that they are brand new. Our favorite place we found is McConnells Irish Pub, the food was excellent as well as the staff. The atmosphere was relaxing as well.

Over all we had a great experience and would highly recommend The Key Lime Inn as a place to stay in Key West.

Our stay in Key West was a pleasant surprise since we didn’t know exactly what to expect! The Chelsea House Hotel was perfect in every way. Room was very modern and well designed. Staff very helpful and gave us a lot of great tips for restaurants and bars. Location was superb. The only con was the A/C that was a bit noisy, but not enough to change my rating from Excellent.

Having not seen the place before I got there, I was a little skeptical about what we were getting ourselves into.  Luckily, there wasn’t anything to worry about once we arrived.  The check-in process took about 5 minutes, and we were on our way to our room.

We stayed in one of the king suite rooms, which we thought was very nice.  The room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.  The area around our room was nice and private, not crammed in right next to other rooms.  The room had everything we needed (see fridge, decent tv, microwave, storage for clothes and stuff).  The whole complex has an authentic/historic feel to it, which is cool.  Something you may not get at a chain hotel type of place.  The location is perfect for getting anywhere on the island.  It’s within walking distance of anything you might need.  Anything you can’t walk to, you can easily ride a bike to.

The staff was super nice and helpful the entire time.  The cat that hangs around the place was also very nice.  We never had any issues at all with our room/stay, so we never needed to talk to the staff much besides check-in, check-out, and just talking to them about our stay throughout the week.

We did not have a vehicle during our time down there, but decided to rent bicycles for the week.  This is the way to go if you ask me.  You can get anywhere on the island with a bike, and you never have to worry about parking spaces or driving.  We even rode over to stock island a few times.

I would recommend checking out the bars down on Duval Street just because they’re so much fun.  Irish Kevin’s has some great entertainers there, namely New York Pauly.  The fishing is phenomenal if you’re into that type of thing.  We went out on a backcountry fishing trip, which was a lot of fun.  We used Key West Pro Guides to charter the trip.  Also, there’s  a great place to eat over on Sunset Key called Latitudes.  It’s pricey, but the views of the sunset there are awesome and the food is great.  We found that the Fort Zachary Taylor beach was the best one to hang out on during the day.  It’s larger for Key West standards, and the views and water are nice.  It is a coral based beach, so I would bring some water shoes or sandals to walk around in so your feet don’t hurt.

All in all, our stay was awesome.  Would not change a thing.  We’ll be staying at the Merlin Guesthouse again when we come down for the Key West half marathon in January!

My stay was a pleasure not only for the condition of the Hotel but also the people. I checked in a little early and the girl at the front desk was great and very infomative. I will be booking a three day stay to come down with my wife. What makes a great stay at a hotel is two fold. First of all is the condition of the Hotel and most of all is the people and how they handle you and themselves. They were great and look forward to visiting one of my favorite places in the World.  Thanks for the good memories.

Let me start and say my stay at Merlin Guesthouse was great. Trust me if I’m saying this then the stay was great. I’m a preferred member at all hilton hotels, so when I usually stay places that’s where they are. So this lets you know what im looking for in a room. I like a place I can walk in and it feels comfortable to me. Like lay my belongings down anywhere and can take my shoes off and relax. The Merlin Guesthouse gave me that key west feeling we were looking for.

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the Merlin Guesthouse to friends and again for myself. My check in and check out was great. Even before getting to the guesthouse the people I talk to when pre paying for my room were extremely nice. The best person there was Ms. Linda. I love that lady. :) She was so nice to us and gave us information whenever we needed it. We sat in the office at least twice 20 minutes each just talking to mrs Linda etc etc. She got me small things I need for my room and actually delivered them to us herself. The 2 days before leaving she told me she wasn’t going to be there when we left so she hugged us before we went out for the day. She really stood out to me.

Key West had some really nice people. I’m from NC so I always look for great customer service and people that are naturally nice and key west gave that to me. The best experience in key west was going stand up paddle boarding, freaking an amazing experience. Call SUP, front desk chick Brooke and out guide Brian. Sooooo nice . :)

But to end this review the place was really nice. And also we came down for a wedding so most of the rooms were filled with the wedding party and they had no complaints.  Thanks :)

Everybody was so friendly and the room was just upgraded and clean and only a block away from Duval Street.

We had a wonderful stay last week at the Lighthouse Court. The newly renovated room was great and exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A staff member recommended a Jetski tour through Sunset Watersports that was terrific.

The continental breakfast on the Patio was also relaxing.

thank you.

Key Lime Inn was a really nice and quaint place to stay.  The staff and accomodations were great and the proximity to Duval Street was great for us…away from the noise but very accessible.  I only wish that the pool were not so warm but that is South Florida in the summer months!

If you’d like a quiet, comfortable location close to all the fun of Duval street but out of earshot, the Key Lime Inn is a great spot.

I love knowing I have a parking place regardless of what time I roll in, and it’s an easy walk to almost anywhere. Our room was extremely clean, well ordered, and the bed was super comfy.  Staff was always close at hand if we needed anything. Only small complaint was that, in July, the pool is like a bathtub.  Got to love the tropics!

Great location, clean rooms, very nice staff, and a nice pool and mojito bar. Everything about Lighthouse Court exceeded what was advertised.  Would definitely recommend this property, and will stay here on future visits to Key West!
