Hi

There were 5 of us in three rooms.  The rooms were small but in good condition. The staff was  very helpful and friendly.

We had one night at the Chelsea and we were pleased. The “Irish” welcome by Kevin was pleasant and fun.  The room was basic and the pool area inviting for an AM cup of coffee. Centrally located to all we wanted to do and experience.

My wife and I were guests at the Cypress House and we were extremely pleased with everything from the first greeting with Christopher to our final goodbye with a young lady (with glasses — I do not know her name).  We were treated kindly every time we visited with your staff and were made to feel at home.  I would whole-heartedly recommend your properties and have already done so.  Thanks for making our three-day stay a memorable and relaxing one.  While I’m mentioning people I have  to also give a positive comment to Scott too who helped us extend  our stay by a night because we found this so well.

My wife and I came down Feb 7-10 2013 for a wedding, and stayed in a economy queen room @ the Merlin Guesthouse. The front desk personnel were all nice and accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We booked the economy queen because we didn’t plan on spending much time in our room. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and it was located only a block from Duval st.  We saw most of the rooms available @ the Merlin due to our large wedding party renting the place out. All of them were nice and modern I heard no complaints from anyone. Complimentary breakfast out by the pool was nice each morning and a wonderful way to wake up mingling with everyone. Coffee was strong just the way I like it. All in all we loved the Merlin Guesthouse, and as first timers we fell in love with key west! I have already booked our anniversary flights to come back in May, and we plan on staying @ the Merlin or one of the many other Historic Key West Inns.  Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

My husband and I have visited Key West many times and this was our first visit to the Cypress House.  The convenience to Duval Street and Mallory Square was great.  We were there to attend a wedding at the Audubon House.  We stayed in the King Deluxe Room in the main house on the third floor.  The room was very comfortable and spacious.  One suggestion we would have is if the grout in the shower and bathroom could be bleached.  We know the bathroom was clean, but the fact that the grout is stained in the shower and on the floor does not present well.

Breakfast at the pool was very relaxing and a great way to start the day.

We would definitely look to stay with you again.

This was my first visit to Key West.  I stayed at the Chelsea House.  I would recommend this inn  to everyone.  The rooms are comfortable and the staff was very helpful.  My husband was not able to make the trip so he called the Chelsea to ask their help to have flowers delivered to my room.  He said they were so very helpful and great to deal with.

I will be back.

We traveled to Key West 02/03/2013 – 02/10/2013 for our wedding, which was across the street at the Hemingway House.  The first 4 nights we stayed in a king room that had its own front porch.  The room was wonderful and the front porch offered a bunch of great people watching!  The last 3 night’s we stayed in the Hemingway Suite.  Words can’t describe how wonderful the suite is!!  It was absolutely amazing!  It is the most amazing place we have ever stayed.  The view from the porch was great…as well as the romantic view of the lighthouse.  The staff were more than helpful the entire time we were there.  Also, the Mojito Bar has the best Key Lime Mojito that we have ever tasted.  We would like to thank the entire staff for making our stay memorable!

Thank you,

Scott and Casey White

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, location and cleanliness of the Key Lime Inn. Staff was very helpful and gave suggestions on Seven Fish for dinner, which was AWESOME! Key West is definitely different than 20 years ago when I was there last, but the Key Lime Inn helped make me feel right at home. If ever in Key West again, we will be looking up the Key Lime Inn.

We had a great time staying at the Merlin Guesthouse.  Our room was clean, very well appointed and tastefully decorated in the Key West style.  The grounds were well maintained and had plenty of areas to relax in after a long day out.  The staff was professional, nice and extremely helpful.  The Inn is very well located just close enough to the action yet far enough to be quiet.

A few things I would comment on are that the A/C unit in the room was loud and the TV remote was not functioning correctly.  The coffee at the continental breakfast could also be improved on.  We also noticed that although we had the “do not disturb” sign on the door our room was made up while we were away.

Next time I plan a trip to Key West I will definitely stay at one of the Historic Key West Inns if not the Merlin Guesthouse once again.  I will also make sure to recommend them to friends and family.

Regards,

Hernan

We recently stayed at the lovely Merlin Guesthouse for a destination wedding in Key West, and loved the secluded property. The front desk person was very kind, taking time to talk with us even though we checked in very close to closing time.  We loved the pool and breakfast each morning.  My one suggestion would be to up the mattress quality in our room. In addition, this is just a small thing, but as the room cooled we had no blankets to put on the bed. Ask the front desk.
