What a wonderful place. Check-in was easy as well as check-out plus on site parking. Clean and cute. Better than a run of the mill hotel/motel chain. Wish we could have stayed longer but was just passing through. Walking distance to all the tourist things duval street, southern most point etc.

Thanks, Chelsea House, for a great, memorable, and convenient stay.

We were in Key West for 3 nights but sadly only stayed at Key Lime Inn for 1 night. I say sadly because we LOVED it and wish we had picked this place for our entire stay. The first 2 nights we were in Key West we stayed at the La Concha hotel, while it was nice, it was TINY! Very hard to move around. Then when we checked into the Key Lime Inn – the rooms were perfect, smelled great and really had a bungalow-type feel. When returning to Key West, we will definitely book at the Key Lime Inn again! Thanks for the hospitality – the entire staff was super friendly too!

We stayed at Albury for 3 nights, we were in beautiful Key West for a wedding. First and foremost, the young lady that was working the front desk upon our arrival was the most pleasant individual. She started our stay out on the right foot, and they are lucky to have her.

Positives

  • Within walking distance of Duval Street, marina, Mallory Square, etc.
  • Quiet Location (Old Town)
  • Public Parking garage just one block south on Grinnell. We actually never used our car once arriving, we rented scooters and there was ample parking for the scooters across the street on Eaton.
  • Room was small, but adequate. We did not come to Key West to sit in our room, we only came back to sleep.
  • Breakfast at the pool was plentiful. An assortment of Bagels, Yogurt, Cereal, Juice, Coffee, etc. For a free breakfast it was fine. The “local” ham and cheese croissants were fantastic!
  • Pool area was nice, but we never got a chance to utilize.
  • Each day, I placed the “please service” sign on the door and returned to fresh towels and our bed made.
  • The bed was so comfortable!!
  • Room included hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and fridge. No microwave.

Negatives

  • The room (#6) needs a fresh coat of paint, I can tell they “patched” up some areas, just time for a refresher
  • The bathroom shower grout needs to be bleached/cleaned. It is grey and for some people that may be a turn off.
  • The wet bar faucet, for some reason is so far back if you use it the water will go all over the counter.

Our stay at the Merlin Guesthouse couldn’t have been any better. The location offered a perfect stroll’s length to and from Duval street and Mallory Square, and the room was extraordinarily clean. Linda checked us in and made us feel right at home the moment we walked through the door. She even helped us find a parking spot (which was surprisingly close to the hotel). Our room was very pretty with gorgeous wood floors. Our only complaint was the lack of a closet.

Continental breakfast by the pool was completely enjoyable, and sweet tea was complimentary throughout the day. I would recommend this hotel to any couple looking to stay in Key West. We will definitely be visiting again!

When we picked the Key Lime Inn for our short stay on Key West, it looked like a nice hotel that had a good location. When we arrived, we were very impressed with everything….from the very nice room to the very helpful staff. We were kicking ourselves for not staying there longer than 1 night !!!  It turned out to be a very nice hotel and grounds that had a great location.  We would definetely stay there again and would recommend it very highly.

I stayed at the Key Lime Inn for few days at the end of April for some R&R.  The location was great, central to downtown area. Close enough to downtown to walk to different exhibits and restaurants or if you just want to lounge around the pool. my travel plans extended past my stay due to airplane issues. The staff was very accommodating and extended my stay. This is the second stay at your hotel and I would not hesitate to book with you again.

Arlene and I truly enjoyed our stay and we should have stayed longer. We had plans to go to Key Largo and it didn’t go exactly as planned. In hindsight we wished we would have stayed in Key West longer than we did. We will be back that I can promise you and we’ll be bringing friends down when we come. Thanks for the email.

This was our second stay at Cypress House and we look forward to many more. The staff was friendly and professional and provided outstanding customer service from reservation to check-out. We have already recommended this property to several friends and associates and they enjoyed their stays as well. The location is perfect to get to the action on Duval St but far enough away to not be disturbed by late night activity. Looking forward to our next stay!

Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Convenient to the Dry Tortugas terminal, Mallory Square and Duval Street. The database I made my reservation on said they provided parking but found out it was on a first come serve basis Street parking. One of the employees was kind enough to move his vehicle so we can have a parking space. What a wonderful man.  But once we parked, we did not have to move to see and do what we wanted.   The room was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Wonderful experience.  Great staff.  Clean and beautiful rooms.  A very quiet “Bed and Breakfast” environment.  Absolutely perfect.  If they have open rooms when we visit Key West it will always be where we stay.
