We decided to head south to the Keys from Georgia without making any reservations in advance.  One of our nights was spent at Cypress House. Our stay there was wonderful! The well built, older house had been restored with much care.  Our first floor room was large, spotless and decorated simply with attention to detail. Our delicious breakfast and coffee was prepared in a large kitchen area and we enjoyed dining with other guests outside by a lovely, small pool. The grounds around the inn were plush and tropical. And, Cypress House was a short walk away from the harbor area and Duval street. Once we parked a few blocks down the street, we never needed to get in the car again until we checked out the next day. Parking was really the only issue, but that is to be expected in this concentrated area of Key West.

We searched for a “value” in KW on TripAdvisor and the Key Lime Inn kept coming up.  We made the right choice and will go again.  All the staff was great and of course Alexander mentioned his name often. We love good marketing.

I’m sure any of the other hotels in your Historic Key West Inns collection will be as good.  We had Room 34 on the pool and it was great.  We never used our car and booked a two day City Tour Trolley and used it to get around.  Best restaurant was Blue Heaven and of course Better Than Sex for desserts.  Enjoyed our “drink” at the Lighthouse Court Mojito Bar.  Bartender was great to chat with.  We may try different inn next trip.  I want to come down for Fantasy Fest but Carly shook her head.   LOL

Your hospitality to guests is the best.

My mom and I had a great night in the Cypress House. Staff was very nice and helpful and the rooms were clean and modern. Good breakfast.

We found the accommodations to be very neat and tidy.  The staff was very helpful showing us our room and helping us find a place to park.  The choice of toiletries exhibited good taste.  This was our first visit to Key West, and we would definitely return for a longer visit.  When we decide to make it another vacation destination, we will book with you.

We stayed in cottage #18. It would be cool if they had a bigger bedside table for the clocks, keys, cell phones, etc… other than that it was top-notch.

The continental breakfast was adequate – with bagels, muffins, assorted breads, yogurts, apples and coffees/orange juice.

The staff was friendly and accommodating,

Staying here, you’re smack in the middle of town with a 1-block walk to Duval. For the features and the space – y0u can’t beat it.

It was very private and quiet while still being close to anything you want to go do.

We highly recommend it.

This was my first visit to the Keys and I was celebrating my 55th birthday w/friends. The room was awesome, loved the spilt bedroom idea. Room was clean, perhaps just a little to bright at night but the ac unit worked perfectly. Bathroom had nice bath products. Pool was quaint for an evening dip. Location was great for getting around by the very affordable/efficient pink cabs. I can’t wait to return soon!!

Dear Accommodating Staff of The Chelsea House,

I just wanted to take a few minutes to express my gratitude to you for making my recent stay so very pleasant.

I called the front desk a few times before arriving to Key West and each time I was greeted with a warm, professional, staff member who answered all my questions thoroughly and provided reassurance of my reservation.

Upon arrival, I was welcomed by a young lady at the front desk who offered great local recommendations and easy to follow directions. The Chelsea House was superbly located far enough from Duvall to enjoy the quiet and close enough to walk to all the excitement effortlessly.

I have been to Key West before and unfortunately had a different experience staying with other Hotels. I was apprehensive as often times “charming”, “historic” or “rustic” is used to describe dirty, infested, and poorly maintained. The Chelsea House, however, far exceeded my expectations.

I unpacked my things comfortably in my neat, bright, and tastefully decorated room. The room smelled noticeable clean as though someone had just finished making my room just right for me.

My room was conveniently located near the poolside. The pool area was also clean, comfortable, and serene. During the day I observed many staff members diligently cleaning and grooming the property to maintain its magnificent appearance. Since I made use of the pool so often during my stay, I also took advantage of the opportunity to exchange my towels near poolside for clean towels. The gentleman who is responsible for the laundering of the towels always greeted me warmly and I could see the care he took in picking the nicest towels fresh out of the dryer for me.

This trip was a girls getaway trip. Some of my friends who stayed a nearby hotel opted to spend everyday visiting us at our room as our accommodations were just the best!

The Chelsea House is all that it promises to be. I will most certainly be staying with you again and will be recommending you to anyone who desires a truly great vacation in a clean, safe, and fantastic location.

Kindest Regards.

The room was great and the staff lovely. Only problem was that we couldn’t get wi-fi, except right by the office, whIch was fine when we’d worked that out – but nothing to ruin our stay.  We managed to get a car space so that was fab.

Your receptionist was lovely and asked if we wanted to check out later as we were checking out in a down-pour – that was great.

Thanks so much. Warm regards.

We LOVED our stay at the Albury Court!  It was such a pleasant surprise to see this gem of a hotel!  We stayed in the Suite with our daughter and everything was perfect for our trip!  We especially loved the balcony.  We enjoyed our evenings there after the days of walking and sight seeing!  We hope to be able to return to Key West and we would definitely prefer to stay at Albury Court for a return trip!

Thank you

For someone wanting to hit Duval and experience the night life, this hotel was the perfect location. Close proximity to bars, restaurants, etc. It was awesome. The staff was very friendly. The cocktail Liming hour by the pool every night was AMAZING! Can’t wait to book my next stay with you!
