Great bed and breakfast experience. Clean, cute room and the grounds at the guesthouse were beautiful. Service was unbeatable too. Would highly recommend :)

Unfortunately I cannot remember her name, the red-headed woman helping us at check-in and check-out was very friendly and helpful in recommending activities and places to eat.

On our last day she suggested Azur for lunch and, though I am usually cautious about hotel recommended restaurants, Azur had the best fried snapper sandwich this native Floridian has ever had! And as a cherry on top the hotel gave a coupon for a free mimosa!

The room was quaint but very clean and cozy, perfect for a weekend getaway with the significant other. We did have one very minor incident when housekeeping entered the room around 9:30 AM on Saturday, and while both myself and girlfriend laughed it off, someone else could have been caught in a very precarious position!

The location was absolutely perfect, only a few blocks from a marina that served as a wonderful path to restaurants, shops, and of course Duval Street. We were close enough to the action to have 2 great nights out on Duval but far enough away to walk back, relax and sleep well in the quiet of our room.

Weary from fun on our last morning, our check-out time was extended with a simple phone call and we made our way back to reality a little more casually and well rested. As a side note, while parking is not included with the room, there is absolutely no problem finding parking on the street or in the nearby garage and we were there during lobsterfest!

Overall the stay was wonderful and you cannot beat the location or service; we definitely will stay there again on our next Key West adventure. Someone has to enjoy that sun-deck and sparkling pool!

The people you have working there are very kind and considerate. We asked for suggestions on places to eat and were given wonderful places to eat fish (BO’s) and the food from Carolines was great. Our room was a bit smaller than we expected but it served the purpose. Luckily, we were on our motorcycle, or we would have had to fight for a parking place. All of staff were helpful and we really enjoyed our vacation. We would most certainly recommend your hotel to our friends and family.

I decided to take my wife on a special trip for our 35th anniversary.  I made arrangements for a 2 night stay in Bonita Spring, FL, followed by a Sunday-Monday stay in Key West at the Cypress House Hotel.  Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Dennis who explained that our room wasn’t yet ready.  He offered to hold our luggage while we took a tour on the Conch Train.

Upon returning to the Cypress House,  he escorted us to our room.

He unlocked the door and as we entered,  the bed was covered with rose petals in the form of “35”.

He explained that our daughters had arranged for an event planning company to decorate the room and that is what delayed us getting settled.

Dennis was so polite and helpful with directions to most of the sites we wanted to see. The happy hour was delightful and we met some very nice and interesting people.  This location is very central to Duval Street and all the restaurants and shopping one could ask for.

The Cypress House welcomed us and made us feel like we had been there many times in the past.  Our stay, (though brief) was one will will never forget. We will definitely stay at the Cypress House when we plan a return visit.

I had an incredible stay at your hotel. We arrived quite early from our 3pm check in time and your staff went out of their way to get me in a room since I was just staying for one night. It was great being able to check in and not have to worry about coming back at 3. The ambiance was excellent as well. Very quiet and relaxing. I will definitely  be coming back on my next trip down!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Cypress House Hotel.  Shanice (not sure if the spelling is correct) at the front desk was awesome! She recommended great restaurants  and  fun activities. She took a lot of time giving us detailed directions.  She was amazing! Our room was beautiful, as well. It was very clean and very well decorated. Breakfast was delicious each morning (my husband is a very picky about his breakfast and he was pleased every morning).  We had a great experience and would definitely choose the Cypress House if we return to Key West.

We were torn on what was the perfect place to stay. We wanted to experience Key West and Duval Street, but also relax and un-wind from life’s daily grind… Lighthouse Court Hotel was the PEFRECT place to do both!!

Its location is one block from Duval Street, which was perfect! In less than 2 minutes, we were enjoying all the activities that never end on Duval Street, but then could return to tranquility in the courtyard at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. The courtyard had a pool, Mojito bar, breakfast bar, and plenty of seating to just hang out and relax. Rooms were spread out in several different buildings surrounding the courtyard and bricked paths, beautifully landscaped and maintained took you between each room and around the property. The upper deck also hosted perfect seating for those looking to hide away in the tree tops.

Off street parking was a huge plus. Yes, the parking lot is two blocks from the Lighthouse… but walking is what Key West is all about. It was just great to have a guaranteed place to park (saved the hassle of looking for an open spot – which there are not many off).

We stayed in a deluxe king room (B4)… perfect!! Very comfortable bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, big TV, and a refrigerator (another plus in the KW heat). The room was very clean and the staff kept it that way (on a daily basis). When we stay in KW again, we will request B4. Perfect room… with three windows right at the end of a 3 room run on the second story.

The Lighthouse Court is a hidden treasure (across from the Hemmingway House) that is close enough to the action to keep you busy and having fun, but at the same time providing a great place to just relax and un-wind.
