2nd stay within 3 years. Great staff; easy check-in. Hard to park. Room was satisfactory but prefer the hardwood floors in our former room, although I understand why the carpet is there. Room was directly off the pool. Arrived and room was fresh and ready. Great breakfast out by the pool. Very convenient to Duval and quiet. Will stay at least in another Historic Key West Inn.

“915 Restaurant on Duval.” Had two levels with two different menus. Very confusing. We wanted the upstairs and got seated at the more expensive and different menu downstairs. Our server said that “it happens frequently”. Offered to move us upstairs with a wait. Decides as others probably do, to stay put. Almost feel it was a bait and switch by the host. Food was just ok for me and better for my wife.

Can’t remember the company, but was on the far end of the docks near the Marriott. Took the early wave runner tour around Key West. My wife rode for free. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. Only 3 wave runners and one leader. Had a lot of fun and definitely worth it.

While we only had one night (and a few hours of the night) at the Lighthouse Court, we loved the room and the location. We were close enough to all the “must see/must do” attractions, yet not so close that we were overwhelmed by the noise or traffic. A few more tables around the pool for breakfast would have helped some seating issues, but nothing that would detract from staying here should the opportunity arise.

We loved it at Lighthouse Court. The courtyard by the pool is so relaxing, and we enjoyed our self-serve breakfasts there. The location suited us perfectly and Scott at the Cafe/Bar treated us really well. He makes a great sandwich and fantastic cocktails! Thanks, Scott.

Red Fish Blue Fish does fantastic meals, has a nice vibe, and the service is very good, without feeling intrusive or rushed

Truman’s Little White House was really interesting – we had an excellent guide, who “sold” Truman a newspaper during one of his visits to Key West

Room, on two floors, was extra spacious for the two of us. Clean, very well maintained given the age of the wooden building, and very comfortable. Pool and bar area were like gems nested in a lush garden between the various buildings of the inn. Ideally located opposite Ernest Hemingway’s house.

We visited La Te Do, a 5′ walk on Duval Street. Extremely good setting which acted as a magnet on us and other passers by. Service and food were good.

Theatre of the Seas : excellent parrot and dolphin show, too bad their restaurant kind of let the whole package down. Ernest Hemingway’s House : what a treat to step into the big man’s footsteps!

What did we like about our stay? EVERYTHING! How was our experience you? We felt at home, the staff were very helpful. The layout of the hotel grounds gave the air of being miles from anywhere yet so close to everything. A home away from home!

I loved staying at The Lighthouse Court. One block from the hustle of Duval Street, it was an oasis of calm in the middle of everything. The pool was lovely, the snack bar with drinks was quite welcoming after a day of activities. The breakfast was simple yet varied with fresh fruit, yogurts, muffins, bagles, granola and delicious coffee and teas. It was also fun watching the cat chase the rooster around the pool! I know some people complained about the rooster waking them up at 3am, but the air conditioner was enough to keep the noise muffled for me. The staff was excellent and did a nice job of keeping the place clean and running smoothly. I would love to return!

Blue Heaven, a short walk from the hotel was 5 star food in a fun and funky former brothel. We went several times for breakfast and dinner, and we were never served a mediocre meal. Wonderful!

The Hemingway House, right across the street from The Lighthouse Court Motel was very interesting, beautiful, educational, and fun. Our guide looked like he could be Hemingway’s younger brother and was full of information that he offered in a most entertaining way

We had a minor problem with our room that I woke up to on my birthday. The Manager was so wonderful about it and upgraded us to a beautiful suite upstairs with its own private deck and gorgeous marble bathroom. She made my birthday one of the best every and will always remember her kindness. I highly recommend a stay here (we were there for 3 days). Right across the street from the Hemingway house and an easy walk anywhere. Enjoy!!

The courtyard/pool area is very, very pleasant. The mojito’s at your bar, excellent. Breakfast could have more choices. Would have enjoyed a bit of fresh citrus or some sort of tropical fruit, even a banana! Only fruit offered, an apple. Our room needed a place to hang clothes and a few hangars. Staff was very helpful.

The room was a little small and most of them face the pool/bar arena, so noise, especially around Happy Hour, can be an issue. However, the location was unbeatable, and the little bar/cafe was cute. We got two free drink coupons, so it was fun to start the evening with a cocktail around the pool.

The sunset celebration is really fun and free. Extra bonus if the cat entertainer is there

Banana Cafe – amazing food and atmosphere – the crepes were an unexpected delivery but totally worth it. Hats off to the chef. Can’t wait to visit again. So good we ate there twice.

Did not have enough time visit everything but Mallory Square at sunset was very nice. The street performers were entertaining but took up a lot of time.
