The Chelsea House Hotel is located in an amazing Key West location–close enough to Duval street and all of the action that you can walk everywhere, yet not directly in the middle of it (so that you can get a good night’s sleep). We thought that the continental breakfast was awesome and we loved the beautiful wrap-around porch that our room had access to.  Our room was spacious and comfortable, and had a mini fridge that we stocked with waters for the mornings. The one thing I would say is that they could improve on their bathrooms–definitely very basic and there was no place to really put anything in the shower stall (we were there for 3 nights, so we actually unpacked).  All in all, however, it was a great experience (my 2nd at the Chelsea House), and we hope to visit again soon!

I usually do not write reviews, but our stay was so excellent I felt like it was well deserved! This was our first trip to Key West – My husband and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for 4 nights for our anniversary.  From the moment we arrived, the staff was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Whether we wanted to rent bikes or find a restaurant to eat at, the staff was extremely helpful with their services and recommendations. Our room was wonderful, clean, updated, and comfortable. I don’t have a single complaint! I will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Key West. Thank you Lighthouse Court for a wonderful week!

My fiancé and I had an amazing time at the Albury Court Hotel. It’s was clean, cool and for the most part quiet. Breakfast in the morning was pretty good and the staff is helpful and friendly! There are bike racks to lock up your transportation very convenient! Also not to far from anything no more than 10 mins from really anywhere on bike… we would love to come back and visit 🙂

This was our first visit to Key West and because of the Lighthouse Court  Hotel and staff it will not be our last. Such a beautiful property with everything you need for the stay. Very nice room, free breakfast, mojito bar, perfect location and very historic all add up to the best stay on the island. Definitely coming back!

This was our fifth trip to Key West but our first stay at Cypress House. It will certainly not be our last stay there. My husband and myself have stayed in some of the large “fancy” hotels on the island and none can compare to the personalized service and atmosphere of the Cypress House Hotel. It is truly the “Key West Experience” and we will never stay anywhere else. From the moment we walked into the front office to the moment we left it was simply heaven on Earth. The staff was immensely helpful, our room was kept very clean and there wasn’t a person we encountered during our stay that didn’t have a smile or a friendly word. The room was updated and very comfortable with a lovely common area to spend some quiet time off of Duval street. The photographs of the rooms and the pool area on the website don’t do them justice. During your stay at Cypress House Hotel you will not need a car as EVERYTHING is within a few minutes walk. If you are wondering if this is the place for an “away from the kids” vacation don’t wonder any longer. You will not be disappointed.

Lighthouse Court Hotel is somewhat of a hidden gem! A prime location, one street from Duval St. in the heart of Old Town Key West, yet it is a quiet retreat. Our week long stay in May was nothing short of FANTASTIC! It was perfect for a couples vacation. The entire staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Laura checked us in and she was GREAT! She asked about our interests and provided us with a wealth of information and suggestions that fit what we were looking to do during our stay! We had inquired about bicycle rental for the week and next thing we know she’s on the phone making arrangements with Island Safari Rentals for us! Our room (B1) was clean, comfortable, had several windows for lots of natural light and was just what we wanted. The only suggestion I would have is to add counter space in the bathroom. The lack of made it a bit of a challenge to place/store our toiletries. The grounds were beautiful! The pool was clean. The Mojito Bar & Cafe was delish! The smaller, more quaint setting made it very easy for us to relax and really enjoy our trip and our time together. We cannot say enough about our stay and highly recommend Lighthouse Court Hotel! We are already planning our next trip and we look forward to another stay at Lighthouse Court Hotel!  Thank you!

First of all, I will just say that it was a true joy and pleasure to stay at the Merlin Guest House! I was celebrating my 34th birthday with my girlfriend, Libby. I am from FL and have been to Key West several times. Libby is from Indiana, and has only been to Key West once, when she was a little girl. I flew her in from Indianapolis into Miami, then we drove down together on the morning of June 2nd. I chose the Merlin Guest House because I liked the location, the reviews online, the price range, and the pictures and description of the unit. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Michealle and Linda. They treated us to a bottle of champagne for our room. It was a nice touch! The room itself, we stayed in room 11, was perfect! The size, cleanliness, bathroom, patio with chair areas, community hammock, everything was great! Libby and I had such a wonderful time, we said it was like heaven on earth, like paradise, and a weekend neither of us will ever forget. Linda was very helpful with providing a list of local companies that do bike rentals, waverunners, etc. We would love to come back to stay at the Merlin Guest House and I have already recommended it to my friends and family. It’s a great place and you have chosen some great employees. Can’t think of a single complaint.

We had an excellent experience from the get go with ‘Robert’ at the front desk (check-in/check-out), who greeted us with a big smile and made us feel welcome – What a great guy! He was very attentive to our needs and showed us the room before we confirmed our reservation. Front desk staffer ‘Kezzy,’ who was by Robert at check-out, was also very pleasant. The maid staff also greeted us with welcoming eyes and smiles.  We found the room to be spacious, clean and had no residual odors of smoke or strong cleaning chemicals that some places use to hide smells. Thankful to have none of those odors. The bed however, was a little smaller that the king that we are used to and firming than we like.  The continental breakfast was an added plus, with bagels and muffins, hard-boiled eggs, coffee and orange juice. The cottage setting amongst the trees was very nice and relaxing. Unfortunately we never made it to the pool, but it looked inviting.  We chose the Key Lime Inn for its location, as it was across the street from the St. Mary Star of the Sea Basilica, which was one of the reasons for our visit to Key West. The Butterfly Conservatory, not far from there was the other. Would definitely recommend the Key Lime Inn to others!

Really liked the Cypress House Hotel and the atmosphere. The staff was personable and friendly. Loved our room – it was comfortable, clean and private. We had a sitting area outside our room (#13). Liming Hour was very nice held every evening. What we liked the best about the Cypress House Hotel was that it was adults only. Bo’s Fishwagon just a few blocks away had a great Grouper sandwich. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, it’s not your typical hotel.
