My husband and I stayed with you for 2 nights. What a wonderful experience! We are from NJ but call Florida our “happy place”. Key West has always been a day trip for us. But this year we left the kids with grandma and treated ourselves, and a treat is what we got. Clean, friendly and a great location. The little daily happy hours before sunset and breakfast were the perfect little extras. My husband works for a very successful hotel on the jersey shore and I work for an amusement park and have a house cleaning business, so we had some pretty high expectations coming into this trip and were not disappointed.

We will be coming back for sure and you bet our friends and family will be recommended to visit Cypress House on their next Key West vacation.

My husband and I stayed in room four, but i would recommend staying in a room that is not on the street due to some street noise.  We did experience a small problem in our room, but it was handled immediately and to our satisfaction.  The staff are attentive and friendly.  The pool was perfect!  We would stay again.

The gentleman behind the desk when we arrived was one of the warmest, most personable hotel staff I’ve ever encountered.  He was very helpful and friendly.  We had arrived late, so he kept happy hour going a bit longer so we could settle into our room and still catch it.

Our room was clean and relaxing.  The only issue was that the tub did not work so well so we had to take showers (and I prefer to take long baths on relaxing vacations!).

I would recommend this hotel to other travelers who want a nice clean room at not too high of a cost.

I have stayed at the Key Lime Inn several times and have never been disappointed.  Great location, very comfortable rooms, and a great staff!  I recommend Key Lime Inn to anyone looking for a hotel on Old Town.

This was our fourth visit over a ten year period. Front of  building and the front desk room are very attractive. Pool area is well kept. Room was well lit, sheets and bedspread were clean, maintenance was prompt when needed. Beds remade promptly each morning. Staff is always very pleasant and very accommodating. Room was ready upon arrival. Breakfast fare,*8A-10A each morning, was very adequate. House location is very good; off the main street but close enough to easily walk to all interesting points of the city.

My family and friends had a great stay at the Merlin Guesthouse. We were in for a wedding therefore there were 14 of us that wanted to stay in the same location. We occupied every type of room at the Guesthouse from the a regular queen room to the 2 bedroom cottages. Every one of them had a different charm to them and were spacious and clean. The common area where the pool and lounge area was, was perfect and they served a complimentary breakfast everyday outside which really was enjoyable. It was a short walk from Duval Street and a very central location for us to be able to walk everywhere we needed to go. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into the Keys. If you are a party crowd I would say this is not the hotel for you because if you are too loud after 12 you will most likely get a knock on the door from the night guard. Also if you are looking for high end amenities such as On Demand Movies this hotel does not provide that. But you’re in the Keys so you should be exploring the town not the hotel room :) Also the cottages were huge with full kitchens so if you were looking to save some money on eating out that is definitely possible in the cottages, they were very big. We are looking forward to our next stay there.

We needed a change of latitude and it was the perfect week for vacation.  We had one large snow storm in Massachusetts and got out on Superbowl Sunday before the next storm on Monday, 2/2.  From what we hear it snowed all week while we were enjoying our vacation.  Unfortunately we are now back home and most schools and businesses are closed due to another snow storm!

We do however want to thank you all at the Chelsea House for making our stay in Key West everything we expected.   Starting with our check in with Dennis at the Chelsea House he was very informative.  Free parking was great.  We didn’t move our car for the entire time we stayed.  Our room was fantastic.  The women (sorry I cannot remember their names) who oversaw the breakfast in the morning by the pool were so pleasant.  Had a wonderful conversation with them.  The office staff were great.  We had a rainy, rainy day on Thursday and the woman in the office was wonderful.  Thanks so much for the poncho!  We enjoyed the pool and lounge chairs on Friday for a couple of hours.   Love relaxing and soaking up the sun.   Commotion on the Ocean for our Sunset Cruise was wonderful as well as Hot Tin Roof Restaurant.  We hated to leave the following day but all good things must come to an end.  Goodbye sunshine.  See you again in the future!

Cypress House has it all!  Superior location to Duval & Front Street.  Historic charm plus cozy, updated rooms.  Relaxing, private pool area.  Enjoy a continental breakfast and happy hour daily.

This was our first time visiting and we were thrilled.  The staff is friendly and helpful.  Fresh bathing linens are provided daily.  We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Key West!  Thanks for a really great stay!
