This is an amazing place and so close to Duval street. Everything is in walking distance for you to get to. The island is 2 miles by 4 miles so if you love to walk this is a must place to stay since everything is close to get to. The staff here are wonderful and will give you coupons to places to eat and drinks and if you need a cab they call you 1 and the cabs are always early in picking you up and taking you any where. I would recommend this place to everyone. The only thing, if you are a big breakfast person go to the Denny’s down the street for this is a light breakfast but is very good also. We will be back again to stay here. This is a great find.

This was our first time staying in key west and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The Key Lime Inn was close enough to Duval Street that you could walk, or rent a bike at the place down the street, but far enough away that there was no noise and you could get a good nights sleep. The room was ready when we arrived, and was everything that we needed for our 5 days there. The breakfast every morning was very basic but, who really needs a heavy breakfast when it’s 95 degrees out. We also enjoyed the pool area during a few of our afternoons, it was always clean and peaceful. The front desk staff was also very helpful, and recommended some good restaurants when we couldn’t decide what we wanted. Overall, I love staying at this hotel and would not hesitate to stay again.

We enjoyed our room in this nice hotel located in a Victorian Key West house. Our room was on the pool side and was quiet. It was very clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely decorated. The room was cleaned daily and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is served on the pool, which is very nice. We rented bicycles to ride through neighborhoods and even to dinner on Duval, what a treat! WE have never done that on any other vacation. Ask at the front desk and they will get them for you too.

We would definitely stay at Chelsea House again.

When we initially checked in the room we were very surprised by the beautiful historic wood planks on the wall which we found out they restored rather than replaced. We like historical details like that. The room was warm and cozy with everything we needed. We also liked that it was near the pool. Peter at the Mojito Bar was really funny and made us some great drinks. Brian and Jeremiah were very helpful giving us great suggestions for food and even made a reservation for a sunset sail. They also got us bikes to ride around the island. Highly recommend that, you don’t need a car to get anywhere.

It is a very quaint place to stay and is very close to activities. Most are within walking distance. It’s also across the street from Ernest Hemingway’s House, which is a museum. We would definitely go back here to stay.

This guesthouse type hotel is in a great location. If you are looking for perfection, this is not your place. But if you want historic character, you will enjoy staying here. Ask for a room away from ground level at the pool. It is much like being in a fish bowl if you are In one of the rooms just off the pool.

The hotel itself is in a prime location, the staff is very friendly and the room was modern, clean and up to date.  The one truly awful thing was the bed was taco shell shaped. Neither my wife nor I could get a decants night sleep and one day I found myself at Denny’s drinking coffee at 0330 it was so bad.

Would be nice if the Mojito Bar were open after 1700 too but I understand trying to let people sleep.

My husband and I spent one night in Key West and really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was that the coffee at breakfast was only lukewarm (maybe we got there at the wrong time). The desk staff were wonderful and very helpful. And the room was great.

Upon learning my best friend (a Key West resident) was giving birth the Friday before a holiday weekend, I knew I had to act fast looking for reasonably priced accommodations.  Since the primary purpose of the visit would be meeting the little guy at the hospital, I thought it would be nice to stay somewhat close to the action. Key Lime Inn did not disappoint. My near midnight check in was a breeze, keys were ready and the room was far larger and welcoming than I had imagined. We even had a private patio. The only thing that would have possibly made the stay better would have been a jacuzzi. ;)

The hotel is just 2 blocks off Duval, but about 10-15 minutes from the busier part of it. Since I tend to gravitate to more locals restaurants on other parts of the island, the location didn’t make a big difference, but I would definitely stay here again. Everyone is so nice and even if the parking lot gets full the street parking was safe and plentiful even on a sold out weekend.

Finnish couple:

Hotel was very cosy. Room with queen size bed nicely decorated, clean.  Big bathroom.

Weather changed rapidly from 83 F  to 55 F during the night, but nice breakfast warmed us. We appreciated hotel´s adult atmosphere.

Staff very polite.

Warmly recommended :-)

From making the reservation to a sweet note before I left Key West, your front desk person, Gabby, was an absolute delight.  Gabby loves her job and that can be seen with the smile, when she sees a person, to her helpfulness in giving out information and making suggestions.  She knew exactly from my explanation what I was looking for.  She gives 110% every day.  Thank you to her! and Thank you to you for having Gabby on your staff.  I look forward to another visit to Key West, and intend to include Key Lime Inn in my plans.  Many of my feelings about my stay are because of the way Gabby handled my inquiries! A special Thank you! to Gabby!
