My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Albury Court Hotel, and was very satisfied with our accommodations.  It was our first trip to the keys. The staff (Pat) was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the area. She even brought us a chilled bottle of wine to celebrate our anniversary, during our short stay there…. Extremely thoughtful Pat. Our room was small, but very clean, quiet and cozy,…just right for a retired couple. We were only a 5 minute walk to the ferry terminal, about a 25 minute walk to Mallory square. We parked our car when we got there, and never touched it again until we got ready to leave. The only improvement I would suggest, would be to have a small microwave in the lobby for guest to use. (Such as a bag of popcorn) We will definitely consider the Albury Court Hotel on our next trip, and would recommend to family and friends.

We recently booked and stayed in the Cypress House Hotel, we got married in Key West in March and wanted to come back for a visit over the summer. We decided on the Cypress House Hotel as we had stayed a few doors down in a house rental with family for the wedding. We knew the location couldn’t be beat and remembered walking by the Cypress House Hotel numerous times and how inviting it looked. So for our return visit we booked it! We took the ferry in from Fort Myers which made it very convenient to walk to and from. We were able to get to the seaport, Duval, boardwalk, restaurants and local attractions in just a few blocks any direction. We were there in July so coming back and taking a dip in the pool with no kids splashing around made it perfect for relaxation. We also were able to chat with some of the other guests and talk about our day spent on the island. The rooms were very well kept and the housekeeping did a great job making sure we had what we needed each day. The outside deck was in the process of being replaced, my only suggestion would be to keep it going as it was weathered in older spots and the newer part looked amazing if it were be carried throughout the rest. The staff was nice and friendly and on top of any question or request made whether the front office, housekeeping or ground crew. A great choice for a great price!

We chose the Merlin Guest House by accident; didn’t know anything about the accommodations in Key West. Could not have done any better. It was small enough to be intimate; one block from Duval, right in the center of the block; an easy walk to everything. The staff was great and personal (loved Linda). Our room (#8) was spotless and that was the impression you got when you opened the door: mostly white, new white tiled bathroom, nice bright interior and bedding; completely calming and comfortable. Please thank the housekeeper. It screamed clean and that is so important to guests. The grounds are small and also intimate; when you leave the sidewalk and come through their gate, you get the feeling of tranquil and island; you don’t even think that there is a street 75 feet away. Loved the breakfast in the courtyard under the trees. And of course who can leave out meeting the resident kitty. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable.

Upon check in I mentioned to the gentlemen at the front desk that it was my boyfriend’s birthday (honestly was just hoping for a nicely located room). He apologized saying that they were at full capacity & if they had noticed they could have done something. I said ‘no worries’ and was actually pleased with the location of our room anyway. As my boyfriend and I were bringing our luggage into the room a woman came up behind us with an ice bucket and bottle of champagne & said ‘Happy Birthday!!!!’. It was a nice touch & my boyfriend was thoroughly surprised!!! Thank you for a great visit!!!

We enjoyed the stay here. Kenneth at the front office was very friendly and helpful I will say the best customer service and the maintenance supervisor and the team was great. We loved coming to Key West and staying in hotels but this one was the best experience we have had in Key West. The house we where staying in was very nice and cozy and the best part was they had  breakfast every morning just a hop and skip from your room. Thanks Thanks!

This hotel was great, 3 blocks from Duval Street and the assortment of bars and restaurants. Room was very clean and staff was very friendly offering coupons to local bars and attractions. Pool was bigger than expected, it was a nice surprise. Overall a great stay at the Key Lime in. Definitely would stay there again! Thanks !

We decided to travel to Key West for a 7 night stay during 4th of July week. We always like to try new experiences so we split our stay up into a 3 night at one place and a 4 night at the Cypress House Hotel. We could have easily spent all 7 nights at the Cypress House Hotel, that is how great the experience was. It’s tough to write about all the great attributes so let me name a few important ones… First, the staff was tremendous. Very accommodating and polite. I overheard one even tell another guest that it is called the hospitality industry for a reason and he was there to assist in any way. Always pleasant to hear when on vacation. Second, the Cypress House Hotel location is as close to perfect as you can get. A block from Duval St and close to those places not exactly on Duval that we like to frequent. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Third, the room was very clean and the grounds as well. We enjoyed the pool almost everyday and it was quite relaxing, not to mention enjoyable. The “Liming Hour” is always nice…tasty drinks and snacks, which are plenty enough to hold you over until dinner. Fourth, being an adults only accommodation is pretty nice. We enjoyed the company of several of the guests, all were very nice to speak with. It’s fairly quiet in the rooms and around the pool since everyone is usually respectful of each other. A great atmosphere to meet others though. We couldn’t have had a better time and know we will definitely be staying there several more times!

I am a repeat guest of the Chelsea House Hotel.  The rooms are clean and well appointed.  The staff couldn’t be more accommodating to all your requests or needs.  This property is located close to Duval St on the far end of Mallory Square but a nice walk up and down Duval is always fun. Parking on premises too which is always a plus. Also a beautiful Catholic Church is right across the street.  The breakfasts are wonderful as well.

Don’t make the mistake of choosing a hotel out from town. Their rates may be less, but you aren’t going to be near Old Town, the attraction area of Key West. All of the Historic Key West Inns are in the best Old Town areas. The Merlin Guest House is a block from Duval St and has great access. It’s typically smallish rooms but has parking lot and pool and all the normal amenities. Nice clean rooms. I like it!

We stayed for 3 nights and plan on going back. Our room was very well kept and the location of the hotel is, IMO, the best spot in KW. It was 1.5 blocks from Duval St, yet at night you couldn’t hear any noise. At the hotel, you’re offered breakfast and at 4:30 “liming hour” starts. “Liming hour” was a variety of drinks and 1 appetizer to go with it. Either way a great additional perk to staying there. We we will stay there again once we go back!
