When we showed up at the front desk to check in, they had no record of our reservation.  Apparently we used a service that had confirmed with us, but hadn’t sent the information on to the inn.  Luckily, my husband was able to pull up the e-mail confirmation. Because of the issue, we spent the first night in a smaller room, but Michaelle quickly straightened everything out.  We would check out of the smaller room the next morning and leave our luggage there and the staff would take care of everything else.  Sure enough, we checked out the next morning and went on our way and returned to a lovely room containing our luggage and a very special touch of a bottle of bubbly as we were celebrating my birthday!

The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of storage and the bathroom was spacious.  There were even two Adirondack chairs outside our door in a private area with a small fence, but looking out to the pool area.  Having parking for our car and scooters was so convenient.  The staff were wonderful, the inn was darling and well-appointed and it was a good location.  This is the third property we’ve stayed in with the Historic Key West Inns hotel collection and plan to hit them all.

This was our first time in Key West and the staff here were extremely helpful and courteous. Everyone was more than happy to answer any questions and provide recommendations to great attractions and restaurants. The Chelsea House is centrally located so it was easy to walk or bike pretty much everywhere. The atmosphere at the Chelsea House is relaxing and clean. It felt like a tropical spa. The rooms were large and decorated nicely. I would definitely return and stay here again!

My trip to Florida started off rough. The Merlin Guesthouse turned it around.  The staff was amazing, rooms perfectly decorated and so clean.  I wish we didn’t have to leave (I don’t like the heat and I wanted to stay). Thank you for really making my trip so much better.

I am a business traveler (on this occasion) going monthly to Key West to meetings.  This time my usual (corporate rooms at the big name places) were full or ridiculously priced.  I stayed at the Key Lime Inn and had a nice stay.   Room was clean, folks checking me in were polite and it was quick.   It was room #4 and pretty quiet, had safe and iron, seemed like new floors, plenty of charging plugs, and iron.  The pool looked nice.  The parking lot was full but they said they had spots at the sister hotel right next door.  Even offered to show me where it was.  Overall nice short stay.  I always rent a bike to tool around, this time I got it just east of Duval at Pirate rentals, they are open later than the 7pm at the closer places, and that is the only reason I rented from them.

My wife and I were delighted to stay at your Inn the week of March 10th.  It was a perfect getaway for us to celebrate our 15th anniversary.  We chose this Inn based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. We also loved the quaint look of the rooms, continental breakfast by the poolside and the walking distance to Duval St and other area activities.  We really enjoyed Blue Heaven, Peelers, Sloppy Joe’s, Willie T’s, Kelly’s, and Captain Tony’s.  The trip to the Dry Tortugas didn’t disappoint. We also loved the state park.

We have already recommended The Key Lime Inn to friends and wouldn’t hesitate to return.  Thanks for making this such a memorable stay for us.  Best wishes.

We loved everything about Key Lime Inn, from the service, to the location, to the poolside breakfasts. We would definitely stay again. However, a few little things bothered us. The bathrooms were tiny with no counter space. The floor length mirror was great, but again, it was too far from any counter or electrical outlet and had no lighting near it to be of any use. While the window had venetian blinds, there were no room darkening curtains, so light penetrated the room at night. These little touches are expected in the price range we paid for.
