Enjoyed our stay immensely! Been  going to Merlin for years and always enjoy the helpful staff and peaceful setting. Celebrated our 25th anniversary there!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find this little gem.  Checking in was easy, we were greeted with a smile and a meow from Jordan the house cat. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name that helped us but I did see him later in town on a gorgeous Harley! He was friendly and helpful with the check in process of bags and parking. Our room was small but perfect for what we needed. The back porch and sitting area was quiet and well kept, like our own little oasis for relaxation. We enjoyed the pool after a hot walk through town with towels readily available.

Breakfast in the morning was delicious and magical while sitting amongst the beautiful green foliage. The price was right and we would absolutely recommend the Merlin Guesthouse to any of our friends and family that visit Key West.  The only downfall was we stayed for only one night!

My husband and I found ourselves in Key West – local style (we decided to extend our stay but had nowhere to go). We called Historic Key West Inns and they found one room for us at the Merlin Guesthouse for two nights. Little did we know when we arrived…

The place was truly a fantasy. One block from famous Duval on a quiet street. The face of the building looked very quaint and when we stepped through the gate, we were whisked away to a private paradise: glorious, lush palms and ferns, trickling water, sparkling pool. And up the stairs to our room – double french doors opening to a studio unit complete with private balcony, king-size bed, sitting area, refrigerator – everything we needed and more.

Oh, and the service – superb: attentive and professional.

So, did we learn our lesson about staying in Key West without plans? Well no, not really. In fact, we kinda feel rewarded.

This was our second time staying at the Key Lime Inn. We have traveled to Key West on six different occasions and found this place to be our favorite. We love the “cottage-like” rooms. They are clean, well decorated and have just enough space to relax from the fun-filled days in Key West. My husband and I also like the location. The Key Lime Inn is a couple of blocks from Duval, but it offers quiet space from the hustle of the night life. When we travel to Key West again, the Key Lime Inn will be our choice accommodation. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Regards,

Kelly and Chris Slavin

Everybody in the staff were very helpful and kind. The room was clean and looked very nice with a good bed and wooden floor. To bad the porch was not accessible as the door was closed with screws. The garden was very calm and butyful and had a small nice pool. Good parking facilities. Good complementary breakfast.

Very Happy we stayed at Albury Court in Key West. The room was clean and very efficient, the staff was wonderful. After a day of biking and enjoying the Island, the pool was perfect. Very nice breakfast in the morning also…The value was also excellent. We will stay there again on our next trip to Key West.

I was so pleasantly surprised to stay at Albury Court. I was concerned because of my limited choices during Fantasy Fest for hotels, but I would definitely return. Not only was it comfortable and clean but every staff member I met from the room attendants who kept our room very nice to all at the front desk that went above and beyond to assist me.  I didn’t get everyone’s name, I’m sorry to say, except the last person, Kara. She made phone calls and arrangements for me when I was in a predicament and really helped me out. God Bless you all, it’s obviously not a job for any of you but a way of life. Be proud of yourselves and your lovely hotel!

My wife and I stayed four nights at the Lighthouse Court Hotel this October.  (We were there a week BEFORE Fantasy Fest).  From emails before we arrived through checkout, our experience was great.  Helpful staff, a clear comfortable facility and convenient location combine to made this a great choice for our short vacation in Key West.

We walked to the beach, enjoyed several fine restaurants (suggested by and reserved for us by the front desk) and took a great tour to the Dry Tortugas (also booked by the front desk).  We also really enjoyed the Hemingway house which is directly across the street from the Hotel and wandering and shopping Duval Street a block away.

We arrived in Key West by ferry from Fort Meyers and took a cab to the hotel.  The location is so central we decided not to bother with a car while we were there.  Parking is tough in general there and you can take a cab pretty much anywhere for $5-6.

When we return to Key West, we will be staying here again.
