Headed to Key West to experience the culture, attitude & yes, the entertainment that I’d heard so much about. No I was not disappointed. It proved to be that and so much more. Staying @ the Key Lime Inn added to that experience. From the time I checked in until my “sad” departure the staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The location made it so convenient to everything. My unit was all that I could ask for with the room exceeding my expectations and housecleaning doing an amazing job each and everyday. Enjoyed the Hemingway house and related cultural activities. Rented a bike for 2 days and literally saw everything – what a way to travel. The bars and restaurants where amazing with such a selection and varied array of choices. My favorite dining was Duffy’s (great value & amazing dinner) just up the street from Key Lime. Would I go back – in heart beat. Will and already have recommended the Inn to friends and associates of mind.
I look forward to my next trip to Key West and will definitely return to the Key Lime Inn. Thanks for everything.

Our stay at the Chelsea House was perfect from check-in to check-0ut. Kessy is an excellent representative and was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions for touring Key West. Our room was well appointed, airy and comfortable. It had a great porch for sitting or a hammock to relax in after strolling around the town.

Treat yourself to a stay at the Chelsea House!!!!

My Husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Key Lime Inn.  It was quiet and quaint with large trees and palms around the property. Cottage like rooms with comfortable beds and soft linens. Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator.  Very convenient location to restaurants, bike/scooter rentals and Duval street.  Continental breakfast was good. Enjoyed eating at the umbrella tables.  We definitely will come back.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. The price was right, the location great and we are directly across from the Hemingway Museum. What couldn’t be better? Definitely will stay here on our next visit.

This hotel had private rooms and bathrooms like a typical B&B, but inside the rooms had the feel of a hotel. Our room was located at the top of the back stairway leading to a beautiful pool deck.  The morning breakfasts had many delicious options (hard boiled eggs, pastries, cereal, local bagels, fruit, OJ).  The staff was SO nice, especially Ms Barbara, who was singing a little tune as she walked and so sweet to everyone.

You could definitely tell that many of the historic features remained (antique stairways, doors, and wood), but much of the room was updated to accommodate a modern bathroom, etc.  It was located on the east end of Duval St, and we had no problem walking everywhere (southern most point & eastern sunrises, Duval St. and Mallory Square sunsets, bars & restaurants).  One thing to note, although there was no iron in the room, we were able to borrow the iron & board for the weekend from the front desk.  Also, don’t try to walk to Ft. Zachary Beach… wow, was that farther than expected due to the strange location of the entrance!!  I almost missed the wedding we were there for!

We stayed at Cypress House in Key West for three days in December 2015. We were upgraded to a mini-suite and would highly recommend spending the extra if you can. Our room was large, clean and had a fridge, sink, dishes and an awesome private veranda overlooking Caroline Street. We spent much of our time kicked back in the comfy deck chairs watching the world go by! It’s true that parking is a ways away but you really don’t need a vehicle for much once you are settled. The hotel is 1 block from Fogerty’s on Duval Street (awesome food and drinks) and one block from the waterfront. We spent a lot of time walking along the marina looking at the fish, the boats, and the sunset. It really is an ideal location if you want the fun but not the constant noise of Duval! Staff at the hotel were professional and friendly and the daily happy hour and breakfasts were a nice touch. They even had gluten free cereal.

My only tip for improvement would be to dim the lights on the veranda at night. They were a bit bright for sleeping.

Thanks for making our quick trip to Key West a memorable one. Hope to return soon!

This was our first time in “the Keys”… After our 22hrs of traveling from the UK we were feeling more than a little tired… Upon getting to the reception  a little after 10pm “John” had kindly waited back… He showed us to our room and “wow” we had arrived in heaven… The spacious room was all we needed… A lovely comfy bed with fab bathroom and shower… Very well maintained, very clean neat and tidy… Over the coming days we found it was not just the room that shone… The staff here are some of the most professional, courteous, attentive and thoughtful we have had the pleasure in meeting… The continental style breakfast was nice and fresh everyday… There is plenty of coffee and iced tea on hand all day… We shall be back next year for our winter vacation… And it’s all due to the staff and professionalism they had shown throughout our 9 night stay… You won’t go far wrong at this property in the right place…

Where to begin… My girlfriend and I decided to visit Key West for my birthday weekend where I, unbeknownst to her, planned to propose marriage. We booked Chelsea House on a hotel website weeks in advance because the pictures and location looked nice. “Nice” is an understatement.

The location was perfect – a short walk to downtown, but far enough for a peaceful getaway. The grounds and lobby were very well-kept and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was immaculate and had all the Key West charm one hopes for when visiting the island. It had been more than 10 years since either of us traveled to Key West, despite living only 4 hours north in Ft. Lauderdale. It took longer than usual to get there and my proposal plans fell apart, but the hotel, particularly Edy and John, came together for me last minute by placing a bottle of bubbly on ice to await our arrival and create a picturesque engagement, and the hotel did it on the house.

We will stay here every time we come to Key West, and because of the experience, we will wait 10 months instead of 10 years. We recommend you book your stay here as well.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, very knowledgeable about Key West events and places to visit.  Clean and roomy rooms.  Great location to be near all the action.  Outstanding breakfast, with a relaxing garden patio & pool.  Sun decks are a very relaxing place to put your feet up after a busy day.  Highly recommend staying here.  Will be our go to place on future visits.
