A quaint place for a relaxing vacation.  The staff was friendly and helpful.  The rooms and surroundings were clean and attractive.  The location was perfect, as we were able to walk to anywhere in the Old Town area, yet retreat to the quiet sanctuary of the hotel.

Albury Court Hotel was recommended to us by my brother who stayed there for his honeymoon in 2011.  My husband, three year old daughter and I thought it sounded great and couldn’t wait to give it a try.  The staff were very courteous, accommodating, and responsive to our needs.  The room was big and clean, spacious enough for our family and our very active three year old.  Check-in and check-out was easy…we arrived a bit early but that was no problem, and the staff had a place to store our luggage as we weren’t leaving the island til much later in the day.  We would definitely recommend the Albury Court Hotel to anyone traveling to Key West with kids!

We took the Key West Express down from Ft Myers and wanted an overnight to have some time to explore.  We were pleasantly surprised to have our room at the  Albury Court Hotel available when we arrived around noon. The hotel’s buildings have kept an authentic Key West historic feel but modern inside, and our upstairs room was clean and comfy, with a nice deck right outside the door as a bonus, with a view.  Staff were friendly and the breakfast was casual and relaxing. The courtyard and pool are small and had an authentic local ambiance as well.  Would recommend the Albury Court Hotel, especially for location, if you’re coming down via the Express – just a short walk from the docks, and easy access to the main attractions: we had time for the Mel Fisher Museum, the Hemingway House, and strolling the shops and eateries.

I stayed at Key Lime Inn for my birthday with my fiancé and it was honestly my best Key West experience. I’ve been to Key West many times by way of Miami  because my parents grew up there, but Key Lime Inn made my trip. The cottage was the cutest thing ever. Very homey. Simplicity at its finest. I can’t wait for my next trip. My anniversary is in March and I plan on staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay for 5 nights. The greeting by Helena was warm and she recommended Duffy’s Restaurant nearby which we enjoyed on three occasions (good food and good value). The second front desk person, I think his name was Bill, was extremely nice and helpful. He recommended the Key West Seafood festival and several other local things of interest which we followed up on. The breakfast was ample. Would have liked dry cereal with no or little sugar. They had the funniest local bagels I have ever seen. They were tasty when toasted and put peanut butter on. The room was clean. We were in the back of the property which was nice and quiet except for the sound of air conditioners. We enjoyed Hemingway’s house, the Truman Winter White House, Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park and Beach, the local art museum, and the Tropic Cinema which is one of the nicest movie theatres I have been in recently. We liked Santiago’s Bodega Restaurant and enjoyed a drink at Blue Heaven.

We would definitely recommend the hotel. It is in walking distance of all the main sights and away from the loud touristy streets (Duval, etc.)

My husband and I arrived at the Key Lime Inn to a welcoming smile and a “Happy Birthday” from the staff. We were checked in quickly so we could unpack and enjoy the evening. The deluxe king was roomy and clean. We had a private patio, which was a plus since some of the units did not have the privacy. Right outside our building was a hammock that my husband enjoyed using while waiting for me to get ready. Shortly after we checked in, there was a knock on the door with a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate my birthday. The Key Lime Inn is located conveniently off Duval Street within walking distance of everything. The breakfast by the pool started was a relaxing way to start each day. The coffee was delicious!

The next time we stay, I would like to stay in the back corner cottages since the cottage we were assigned to was a little close to the kitchen prep which made mornings a little loud. But other than that, the place was perfect!

Our 3 days at the Merlin Guest House were just what we needed to get away.  All the staff were wonderfully friendly.  The front office staff were all knowledgeable of the area & referred us to great restaurants & activities.  The room was fabulous – LOTS of natural light!  Breakfast was adequate for continental, and if we wanted a cooked breakfast, the restaurant across the street was terrific.  The Merlin Guest House’s location was probably what sold us on a return trip.  We parked the car when we arrived & never moved it until we left.  Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.

As innkeepers ourselves, we really appreciate all the work you do behind the scenes.  We mentioned one maintenance issue that would need attention for future guests, and by the time we returned home that night, it was fixed!  Exceeded our expectations!

We also have to recognize Jordan – what a great staff member 🙂  Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This trip was a Christmas present to my fiance. We have really been looking forward to getting away from the gray, damp days of this Mid-Atlantic winter. Waking up to the warm sunshine every morning was spectacular, made even more impressive from the bedroom loft of the Hemingway Suite. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our wrap-around porch with a glass of Scotch after dinner overlooking the Hemingway House watching the famous cats patrol the grounds. The hotel is central to everything. We walked everywhere from one end of the island to the other. The day trip to the Dry Tortugas was a special treat, and the depth of history at the Truman Little White House was a pleasant surprise. Cafe Sole and Azure are off the beaten path restaurants that we highly recommend.

I held the last pineapple in the rating only because I would recommend a more robust selection at breakfast especially more fresh fruit selections. I expected more being in Florida. But otherwise the staff was excellent, the grounds well kept, the pool pristine, and the bartenders at the Mojito Cafe quite friendly!

I have been running the Key West Half Marathon for the past 5 years and have been staying at the Albury Court Court.  My wife and I love this place, it’s very clean and the breakfast is great. Not to mention it’s close to the start and finish of the half marathon.

The Lighthouse Court Hotel was home base for three days and nights, as we celebrated our daughter’s wedding, three weeks ago.  From our initial contact with the Lighthouse Court management, the service, and attention to details were second to none.  When we arrived at the Lighthouse Court, we were greeted by friendly staff and directed to our waiting rooms.  The rooms were brightly decorated with modern furnishings, with housekeeping staffs who were friendly and courteous.  Also, not to be missed, is the Hemingway Suite for the honeymoon couple, or for a romantic time for any occasion.  It is gorgeous and spacious with a loft, high beamed ceilings and a view of the Lighthouse off of a private patio.  When not in our rooms, we enjoyed sitting poolside, with family and friends, enjoying cocktails, light snacks (from the poolside Mojito Bar), or a fabulous complimentary breakfast!  While parking can be challenging, for a small fee ($10.00 a day) the hotel offers a private parking lot within walking distance.

The location of the Lighthouse Court Hotel is a prime location for a walk down Duval Street and a visit to Mallory Square.  We spent our time walking to various restaurants (915, Blue Heaven and more) during our stay.

We will return to Key West in the future and we will definitely stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel, again! We highly recommend this hotel when visiting Key West.
