I want to thank Merlin Guest House for being so warm and inviting. I felt completely at home during my stay. They are very accommodating and helpful. My room was precious, and I loved the location. It was in walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. My favorite part was breakfast in the courtyard by the pool and the yummy tea with fresh oranges throughout the day. I am already missing Key West, and I will definitely be staying at Merlin Guest House my next visit.

Room was great, clean, and pleasant. Parking is another story. Not the fault of the hotel, but patrons not knowing HOW to park correctly.  Key West is an island with very limited space.  Only reason why 4 stars.

Good place to stay, nothing fancy but nice! Couldn’t check in early but could leave our bags. Very helpful in the office. Same when checking out. Left bags but could use small pool and provided towels. We walked and biked from here. Nice walk and not too far. On a busy street so we had a room off to the side. Could have a porch to the street but might be noisier. Our companions had one of those rooms and it was fun to sit on the porch and people watch!

Went to Better Than Sex Restaurant for dessert! Wonderful!!! We got lucky because they had a cancellation! Don’t eat a meal before you go as the desserts are fabulous and large!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Key Lime Inn. The staff was excellent. We especially liked Karen who worked 4 to 10 at night. Her recommendations for dinner and her other info was really helpful. We will return.

We really enjoyed our stay there as well as another couple who came down with us…. Everything was great!!  Close to Duval but still quiet at night…. We liked walking to the Blue Macaw and McConnells…. Had a blast and wish we were still down there but life happens and our dogs missed us…

See you next time!!

I had a very good experience staying at Key Lime Inn, courteous and helpful staff, nice, comfortable rooms, a great pool and a nice continental breakfast every morning.  Great location, walking distance to Duval Street and was quiet at night.  The only negative were the pillows, I stayed in 2 different rooms and they were all the same.  Other than that I would happily stay there again and highly recommend.

Very nice hotel. We loved the stay. Very friendly staff. Comfortable and clean bedroom. Nice backyard with pool. It’s fun to have breakfast outside in the backyard. The hotel is perfectly located. Close to the main POI but not too close.

My husband and I stayed at the Cypress House Hotel from Monday September 28 until we had to leave on October 7, 2015.  We love the Cypress House.  We stayed in one of the ADA rooms and our friends occupied a room right across the deck from us.  We had a small but totally adequate room for our needs and a whole deck outside to play cards, drink wine and just chat or wait until our group was together.  We enjoyed the pool, several of the evening “get togethers”  and the morning breakfasts.  The Cypress House location is for us the best!  (ok the staff is great too).  Close enough to walk to Duval Street or down to the water (I guess there is water everywhere!)  We are at a number of places – we were there 9 days and enjoyed them all:  The Raw Bar, Harpoon Harry’s, Chicago, Smokin’ Tuna, Carolines and a bit of a hike but Onlywood was great –much more than pizza and Tuesday night is 1/2 price wine night!

One thing that will not be important to most guests but was very important to us was the Island Mobility delivered a motorized wheelchair/scooter to the Cypress House before our arrival and picked it up after we left.

Thanks to the Cypress House Hotel staff and Island Mobility for that special care and service – I hope we are back soon.

We originally booked for 5 nights but fairly quickly extended our stay to 10 nights based on how much we liked Key West and how comfortable we were in this hotel.

In our view the hotel is in a perfect location to allow you the opportunity to explore Key West on foot and giving you a place to sit around a pool and relax when you tire of sight seeing.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and professionally run. However the real bonus were the staff all of whom were friendly, cheerfull and helpful. We were given many good tips on where to eat, drink etc and what sights we should visit.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel as a place to stay.
