The Chelsea House was quiet and the breakfast was great. Also, the staff was very pleasant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Key Lime Inn. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly attentive staff. Offers of assistance to help us get settled in and details about our stay. Our room was amazing. So comfortable and cozy and included everything you could want from soothing decor to soft towels to great bedding…a mini fridge and coffee maker…flat screen tv and internet. AND the best part was right outside our door we had a table and chairs to enjoy our morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet…the ham and cheese croissants were delicious. AND it was so nice to eat in the morning right beside the pool…which we also enjoyed every day of our stay. The location is also excellent just two short blocks from Duval Street and close to the CVS too which is open 24 hours for things that you might have forgotten like we did. This was my first time in Key West and I definitely want to come back and do more exploring and I will for sure stay at The Key Lime…it really is the “”Key””  because great accommodations are so important to a great vacation!!! Thank you so very much for your hospitality! Hope to see you again soon!

My husband and I stayed overnight at Albury Court on August 27, 2014. Our room was lovely and we would stay at this hotel again and will definitely tell all our friends in St. Petersburg that this is a great place to stay. We originally stayed in the Chelsea House in January of 2014 and decided to stay closer to the Key West Express this time. Everyone at the property was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. I’m sorry to say that we will not have the opportunity to come back for a visit and use the returning guest credit before the end of the year but we plan on a visit sometime in 2015. Thank you so much and we will definitely call Historic Key West Inns to book our next stay.

We had an excellent time at Albury Court. The employees and the cleanliness of the nice rooms were spot on. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast and the camaraderie with other guests by the pool. Look forward to our next visit and thank you so much.

This past weekend we had a large group stay here for our wedding weekend. The front desk was absolutely AMAZING! Michelle and Clem were so helpful as were all of the other staff. Mary Simmons made the weekend stress and worry free for us. The rain didn’t hamper us from enjoying the pool. When our wedding was postponed 2 times they were so generous by letting us check out at noon and hang out until the rain passed late in the evening. All of the rooms were gorgeous and very clean. Parking was great as well. I really can’t say enough positive things about everyone who works here.Thank you to everyone!!!

We loved our stay at the Cypress House and would totally stay there again.

After landing in Key West at 8:00, we were greeted with a call around 8:30 pm from Sean at the front desk confirming our arriving time. He met us at the door about 15 minutes later and helped us with parking. He then took us to the room, which had been upgraded despite it being our first-ever stay at the Cypress House.  The room was a king bed with a gorgeous bathroom on the second floor, and he even carried our rather heavy bags up the stairwell.

Our room was phenomenal! The bed was very comfortable, there were lots of pillows, the AC was already on when we arrived (and the room was cool!), and the bathroom was gorgeous. The shower was my favorite part – wonderful water pressure, great size shower head, and beautifully designed!

We loved the convenient location of the Cypress House. Only one block from Duval Street for entertainment, and one block from the harbor. We had a morning dive charter booked on checkout day, and they graciously stored our bags while we dove!  Everybody we encountered was wonderfully helpful, even letting us use the fresh-water shower and a first-floor bathroom after our dives to freshen up.

The only thing we could think of that would have made our stay better was in regards to breakfast. My husband is gluten-free by requirements, and it would have been nice to have plain eggs or something else a little more substantial than yogurt before the dive. The yogurt was good, and the breakfast spread was nice if one is not required to eat gluten-free.

Despite this minor annoyance, the Cypress House was a lovely stay, and we are looking forward to our next stay there! We have also recommended them to all our friends interested in Key West for vacation.

My name is Sylvester Hart we stayed at the Key Lime Inn on dates august 12 ,13 and 14. We had a great time, the room was very clean.  I enjoyed the fact that we felt safe and appreciated the closeness to Duval street.  We also took pictures on the swings. My wife and I felt like kids again. The continental breakfast was very good also.  If I came back to Key West 100 times I would always stay at the Key Lime Inn.

Our group of four ladies had a fantastic time in Key West and staying at Merlin Guesthouse was a big part of that.  We knew almost nothing about Key West before arriving to celebrate my birthday.  How lucky we are we chose these accommodations.  The location was absolutely perfect.  Duval Street is about 1 mile long.  We were at the .5 mile mark and just  two (short) blocks off Duval.  We walked everywhere except the day we rented bikes (from a place a block away) so we could go to the beach further away.  Our room was spacious and immaculate.  We received daily service including a little organization of our bathroom toiletries and even fixing our coffeemaker.  The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful.  They were accommodating by allowing us to leave our luggage in the office when our plane arrived early and left late.  They also seamlessly handled billing and allowed the four of us to split the bill.

We spent the majority of our days by the perfectly sized pool.  It was the right temperature to give some relief from the summer heat and we loved the jets.  It was an extra perk that tea, sunscreen, towels and magazines were stocked under the nearby cabana. The cabana was similarly impressively stocked for breakfast.  It had everything we wanted: fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, light local pastries, cereal.

Overall, the four of us agreed that when we return to Key West, there is no need to look anywhere other than Merlin Guesthouse for a great place to stay.  We were 100% satisfied.

Needed a last minute hotel, not too pricey, and found Albury Court. Was greeted with a smile and a better rate than advertised online! The room was perfect, not too big, not too small and the bathroom was very nice too! I especially loved the free breakfast by the pool each morning. Very quaint and cozy accommodations!
