Great place to stay in Key West – rooms were clean and comfortable – staff was friendly, helpful, and professional – location is good – not on the Main Street so removed from noise, but close enough to be very walkable.

We only booked one night in advance but spontaneously decided to extend our stay for a total of 3 nights. Your staff was very helpfull and did all to arrange that for us. It was just a perfect stay for us as we even could stay in the same room! We will highly recommend your hotel to all coming to Key West! It’s been a very relaxing time for us! Next time we would even travel by air just to spend some more quality time in your lovely retreat!

Thank you so much for everything!

Cypress House offered excellent customer service and was very accommodating. The room was clean, the breakfast was great, and we can’t wait to return.

When making our reservation, my husband mentioned that we would be riding our bicycles from Marathon to Key West and celebrating my birthday.  Due to inclement weather, we had to change our reservations. The manager on duty was happy to do so for us with absolutely no problems. On the day of our arrival, we were pleased to find a small bottle of chilled champagne in our cottage along with a Happy Birthday Wish to Celebrate our long ride and my birthday. What a pleasant surprise!  Our cottage was cute and clean. The staff was helpful in planning a location for my birthday dinner. They offered umbrellas for our walk To dinner.  After a very comfortable nights sleep, we enjoyed a nice continental breakfast by the pool.  The weather, unfortunately, was not cooperating and we needed to leave Key West right after breakfast to start out cycle ride back to Marathon to avoid a storm. The staff brought us ponchos, in case we did not beat the rain! So very thoughtful. I would highly recommend this property for either a business or pleasure trip.

This is a charming, historic hotel, very well maintained and located very close to Duval st., Mallory Square and Key West Express port. Additionally, there was a very nice breakfast and happy hour included, plus a pleasant lanai and pool area.  The reception people were very helpful in stowing bags, arranging transportation, etc. Definitely a good choice for our group.

My husband and I have stayed at the Cypress House for about fifteen years now and have always had a wonderful time.  The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.  The rooms are clean and the grounds are well kept.  The breakfasts are so good. We also enjoy the liming/social hour but would like to suggest you offer beer and wine in addition to or in place of a cocktail.  While at the Cypress House we have met some wonderful people from all over the world.  My best recommendation for the Cypress House is that every year when we arrive we look at each other and say “we’re home.”

Our recent stay was great!! We were surprised on checking in with a complementary room upgrade. The front desk staff were super! They provided us excellent recommendations for restaurants and provided coupons to various ones. Duffy’s was excellent and the free slice of key lime pie was super! The room was great and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

Brought some friends down with us this time and Cypress House did not disappoint. Got in early but one of our rooms was ready so we dropped off bags and wandered for a while. Came back to find that other room was ready. AC wasn’t blowing as cold as we hoped, but that was fixed by dinner time once we let them know. Good advice on where to go and what to do. Staff was great. We’ll be back. :)

This is my go-to spot to stay in Key West, just a blcok off Duval so close to the main drag but much quieter. Comfortable rooms, good amenities and terrific staff. Reliably consistent quality and the owners are always tweaking and improving things every year. If there’s a problem (rare) or a special need during your stay, staff go the extra mile. Plus, the Merlin has a built-in ambassador, the human-friendly cat, Jordan del Gato. (He even has a Facebook page!). Great spot to relax, or as a base for jam-packed daily activities.

We wanted a nice place within walking distance of the tourist hotspots, but far enough away for peace and quiet, and this was perfect.  The huge balcony on Building B was a great space to relax and unwind, and we were only a quick 5-6 blocks from Duval St or the Historic Seaport.  The room was comfy & cozy with a mini-fridge and huge bathroom, the continental breakfast was tasty, and Ayanna at front desk was spectacularly helpful. We’d be happy to stay there again.
