We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Key Lime Inn. Aesthetics are important to me, and I found our room perfectly epitomized Key West. Daniel and Micheall greeted us warmly and offered pertinent advice. In fact, all the staff were warm, helpful, and courteous. We enjoyed your generous continental breakfast around the pool. All in all your hotel provided a quiet oasis in the wonderful, lively island activity.

My friends and I recently visited Key West to run the KW Halloween Half Marathon, originally scheduled a week later, race officials changed the date just a few months prior to the race.  Having booked through a 3rd party company, they were incredibly unhelpful, I called the Chelsea House Hotel directly, and explained what had happened, and the person I spoke to went above and beyond to help me.  I wish I could remember her name now.  While the Chelsea House could not accommodate all three rooms we needed for our stay, she checked with their sister hotels to see if another could.  We found out their Lighthouse Court Hotel was available and could meet our needs.  I can’t thank her enough for actually caring about what we were going through!!

Our stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel was perfect.  The location is amazing, the folks at the front desk are wonderful.  Kyrell was wonderful upon checking in.  Check in takes a little while, but it’s worth it, as he gave us a thorough overview of the hotel and where everything was.  We were right across the street from the Hemingway House, just a few blocks from the Green Parrot and the Truman House.  There is a great rooftop deck & bar just one block down.  Not to mention this falls in the middle of the island so you’re a mile from Higgs Beach, or a mile from Mallory Square.  It was PERFECT!!!  The only negative comment I have is that while I am grateful to have everything well lit at night, my friends as well as myself were frustrated with the amount of light that shined into our hotel rooms.  There are blinds over the windows but they allow a lot of light to shine in. So if they would add some sliding “black out” shades like most hotels have or heavy duty curtains this would have been absolutely perfect.  Overall, I highly recommend the Lighthouse Court Hotel, you will enjoy your visit to KW immensely!

This hotel is in the best location. I chose it for just that reason as was way better than we even imagined. So close to the marina for Dry Tortuga’s, literally took us 5 minutes to walk. And Bo’s Fishwagon was equally close. Best fish sandwiches around. And front desk Ayana was the best informed and cheerful employee. WE love her!!

After traveling a good part of the country, and staying mostly at chains because of the ease in planning, it was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Merlin, an intimate and inviting guest house where everything was superb. Everyone we came in contact with was warm and welcoming. We found the other guests friendly, and the location idea! Close enough to walk to almost everything (the Hemingway House is a great stop), yet removed enough to be quiet and relaxing. It has now become our first choice for future visits to Key West!

This was our first stay in Key West and we were very pleased with our choice of Merlin Guest House.  The staff was so pleasant and helpful.  Unfortunately on our first day we encountered a few ants in our bathroom but Linda ( day manager) immediately had the housekeeping staff take care of the problem.  No ants for the rest of our stay!!  The breakfast area is beautiful, just wish the choices changed daily.  Maybe a different choice of muffin or different yogurt?  However it was still adequate to start our day.  All of the staff was friendly and helpful!  The walk to Duval street is short, so we never needed a car.  Had great meal at Blue Heaven and loved the tour of the Hemingway House!  Would definitely recommend this lovely gem!

We had an amazing time for my boyfriend’s birthday celebration. The hotel is exactly what I expected: very comfortable and clean, with the caribbean arquitectura feeling, in the historic area, close to the “action”, surrounded by nature and very quiet. It is actually located  few blocks from the buoy and literally right in front of Hemingway’s house. I would like to thank Laura at the front desk for being so amazing with us and her pointers and recommendations. I will certainly come back again.

This was such a beautiful place. Ideally located, close to everything and yet quiet and serene. Wonderful breakfast poolside, relaxing and comfortable rooms. We loved our stay here. Checking in was so pleasant, we felt like we were special guests and made to feel so welcomed. Will DEFINITELY return!

I can’t even imagine a better experience than we had staying at Lighthouse Court Hotel!  Just close enough to Duval Street without all of the commotion.  Although we loved Key West, the best part was the hotel!  Comfy beds with a choice of pillows that would satisfy anyone… And the staff was SO helpful, even when we locked ourselves out on the balcony of our room.  They were so kind to us coming and going… If/when we go back, we will definitely be staying at Lighthouse Court Hotel.

We were two couples traveling together and we stayed in the two king rooms overlooking the pool. We had lovely large rooms with mini fridges housing our liquid libations for our late afternoon cocktails poolside! We met many other interesting guests from around the world and enjoyed the serenity of the garden to decompress and rejuvenate. Beautiful sitting area in the courtyard with lush vegetation and tables and chairs. Breakfast was perfect..cereal, hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juice and coffee. Pool was small and perfectly adequate as many times we were the only ones using it relaxing between visits to Duval St. I know they said it was kept at 90 degrees but somehow not a believer..was a tad cool but refreshing!  The staff were wonderful. Really great location and would stay again. I gave it a very good rating as very few places are perfect.. this came very close!!
