My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel.  It started with a pleasant greeting at the front desk.  The room was very clean and nicely decorated.  The interior location was very quiet.

The pool, courtyard, decks were all used by us.  The breakfast was very good and eating in the courtyard was very nice.

We would certainly consider staying there again next time we are in Key West.

Thanks for asking.

Ken

The staff at the front desk were amazing. They could not do enough for us.  Especially Alexander, Micheal and the little young woman whose name escapes me.  Thank you for all you did to make our stay memorable!

This was our fourth visit to Chelsea House, each time we reserved a king room and are very happy with our stay! This year they remodeled our room and it was great! B & B’s in Key West are mostly very old homes that have been converted. They need restored ( some again), rooms and pluming added into a smaller older era, property lines defined and landscaping. Chelsea House has done a very good job with all these things without loosing the original charm! The owner has made improvements every year and that usually means they are here to stay and also care about what have. The room we always come back to was improved but still has a quirky shower door opening, funky knobs on the dresser and the ac was a little weak, on the other hand, the wood floors were new, power outlets everywhere for electronics, new tile, toilet and vanity station! We just love walking out of the french doors onto a too small of an old porch, but hey!, you just can’t get that with the new five star places! The people there are quite friendly but will also respect your peace & quiet and seem to know what mood you’re in. One thing you do get that is hard to come by in KW is parking! Free parking! The area does require some bit of walking to better attractions but there are some real gems and better shopping nearby, also near gay or stripper bars. Not to worry, the area does seem to be safe enough location and we never had a problem there! In Key West we have stayed at the $600.00 night waterfront – to the small B&B with no parking or balcony / porch. For us, Chelsea House fits the bill! Do your research and find the room that suits you, the staff will mail you a layout map of the rooms and you can choose the one that suits you.  You can’t go wrong booking with Historic Key West Inns!

Hi, Just want to tell you that you should be very proud of your staff, all your help and especially the Cypress House itself. We’ve been coming to Key West for over 15 years and we’ve finally found the place that we will always use from now on. Everyone and everything was absolutely perfect. We want to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for our best Key West stay ever. We will see you again.

Our family of 7 ( including our dog) had a wonderful time at the Chelsea House. Service at the front desk was excellent. All three rooms were nicely decorated. The location is great, and it is truly a pet friendly hotel. We will definitely come back. Thank you for a great experience.

We only had time to stay one night but found the Chelsea very nice, the room was modern and upgraded with a nice new tiled bath. No real complaints but perhaps a few minor suggestions. We choose THIS B & B because it had off street parking.

In the new bathroom, a simple hook for a towel/clothes on the shower partition is needed as the glass door swings that way. Maybe another small table to put our things on-but other than that everything fine.

If I ever get back to KW I will stay there again. You asked what we did: walked the whole town for hours! Met the chickens and then the Hemingway cats! Did the Butterfly Museum, Hemingway House and Mel Fischer Museum. We ate at Duffy’s across the street on the recommendation of the very nice desk clerk (we walked so much that was about as far as we could go at night after a dip in the pool)

Please give our regards to the clerk who was very pregnant and expecting on MY birthday (6 degrees!!)

We truly enjoyed our stay.  More enjoyable than a traditional hotel. Front porch was a nice feature.  Walking distance to the seaport was convenient.  Not too far from Duval St., but scooters are the way to go!  We’ll be back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at this nice little cottage. i had friends over from Germany and they were pleased at the convenience and how nice every one was. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Most of the guests we spoke with were repeat guests and they also had good words to say about it. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!!

This was our first stay at the Key Lime Inn. It had been many years since we last visited Key West and always enjoy staying in Old Key West in quaint bed & breakfast type establishments. This one definitely met our expectations. We are not resort type people. They are too crowded and too noisy. The Key Lime Inn is set in a residential area within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to be. Once we arrived, we did not move our vehicle. The room was very clean and spacious directly off the pool area. We would definitely stay there again. It was a great place to just relax.
