I searched high and low to find the perfect place to stay, the week after Valentine’s Day, for my friend’s 40th birthday celebration. We usually rent homes for our KW vacations, but couldn’t find proper availability 2 months prior. After an aggravating search, a friend recommended the Key Lime Inn.

From the moment I called to get info to the final moment we left for our flight, the staff was super accommodating, informative & always smiling, no matter how many questions or requests we had. We were able to fly in early, leave our bags for a few hours to get food, got early check in and late check out. The pool was clean, quiet and so inviting, morning breakfast was yummy with a little of everything (esp after late nights out on the town–Duval Crawl), the rooms were clean, quaint, modern, nicely decorated, beds were so comfy. Even tho there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room, we were able to bring coolers to keep leftovers and refreshments.

We loved the grounds, so peaceful and pretty, it was just what we all needed to rejuvenate from everyday life. The location was just right, close to the action, as we walked all over the place!

I’d recommend a sunset sail, Kermit’s Key Lime Shop, the 2 Cents Pub (although we missed the Happy Hour bacon), The Bull & Whistle bar (downstairs) for daytime people watching, & whatever you do…DO NOT miss Blue Heaven for brunch-amazing food, kind people, artists, music, just plain enjoyment.

We have now found our favorite place to stay in KW…Key Lime Inn!

Thank you owners & staff!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Merlin Guest House. The property is very well maintained and a peaceful setting just off Duval Street.
Loved the resident kitty Jordan and his side kick Henry.
Will definitely come back.
The staff was very accommodating.

Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cypress House Hotel.

The hotel has a wonderful authentic Key West atmosphere, with great staff, and is located just 2 blocks away from ‘everything’ (without the disadvantages of being right in the midst of it). We rented bicycles just around the corner (at JV Rent’All – good bikes for a good price!) and discovered the island (again, as re-visitors). We ended up listening to live music at Sloppy Joe’s. And we were ‘back home’ within just minutes.  Breakfast was good. So, a great stay for a Key West visit!

The only side note we had, is about the air conditioning being too noisy. This made us turning it off to get asleep – and waking up due to the warmth after a couple of hours. But hey, it is vacation and you are in Key West, so it’s just part of it…

My wife and I recently stayed at the Key Lime Inn and enjoyed every minute of it.  This was our first time visiting Key West, and staying at the Key Lime Inn helped make our visit a very positive experience.

The staff were very nice and professional, and two of them, Gail and Michelle, were very happy to thoroughly answer our questions and provide us with useful recommendations.  We felt well cared for, taken care of, and appreciated.

Our room was very clean and has been well maintained.  It provided a cozy and relaxing environment.  We enjoyed hanging out by the pool, and having breakfast outside on the patio was a delight.

The location is excellent and is in walking distance from Duval street, where a lot of the shops and restaurants are located.  We spent most of the first day enjoying the sights walking around, and the second day we rented a scooter just down the street from the Hotel, which was a lot of fun.

If you are looking for a cozy and relaxing place to stay with friendly staff in a great location, we highly recommend staying at the Key Lime Inn.

My husband and I just spent 3 nights and had a wonderful time. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with a hot dish every morning in addition to fruit, cereals, yogurt, bagels etc.  We loved the pool and happy hour. Great location for walking to Mallory Square, Duval and Historic Seaport.

Loved that it was all adults. We will be back!

After a weather delay in Atlanta made us board the plane much later than usual, I got a call from Cypress House checking on us. He told me EXACTLY where to find a key to our room and told us to get some rest. We were amazed to be met at the the gate by the night manager who made sure we made it to our room. That set the stage for our stay. The staff was absolutely amazing. We loved them all. Our room had the quaint historic feel we were seeking and as photographers the grounds were luscious and beautiful. We enjoyed breakfast by the pool, the closeness of everything we wanted to do and visit and a beautiful place to come to each day after our outings.

We have told many friends and family about our stay at Cypress House Hotel and the quietness of our room, the perfect mattress for a great nights sleep and the best staff in Florida !!!!

We will be back !!!!!!

Key Lime Inn is in the perfect location. Walking distance to most everything you want to see but far enough away for some peace and quiet. Our individual cottage was clean and cozy. It’s the perfect place to stay for a weekend get away. We loved it!

I wanted to start off with this review by sharing that we loved our stay. The staff were accommodating, and helpful, and offered excellent food recommendations.   The pool was nicely shaded by greenery. The pictures on the website reflected what we saw in our room.

The breakfast was delicious. Liming hour was a lot of fun. We love the location to Duval Street. Everything was within walking distance, including Zachary Fort and Taylor beach.

This is by far the best place to stay in the Keys. We stay there every year now. The rooms are all updated and a great value. It’s 1 Block off Duval and near scooter rentals, Bikes or Electric Cars.

The hotels grounds are well kept up, nice pool and a 24 hour Security Cat. They provide a Continental Breakfast in the morning which is pretty good. We have never encounter anything but friendly Staff. They have always taken care of our needs with a smile.

I have stayed in a few other hotels over the years before we started staying at the Merlin Guest House and the cost wasn’t worth the location. Key West is just not that big to matter.
