My family and friends had a great stay at the Merlin Guesthouse. We were in for a wedding therefore there were 14 of us that wanted to stay in the same location. We occupied every type of room at the Guesthouse from the a regular queen room to the 2 bedroom cottages. Every one of them had a different charm to them and were spacious and clean. The common area where the pool and lounge area was, was perfect and they served a complimentary breakfast everyday outside which really was enjoyable. It was a short walk from Duval Street and a very central location for us to be able to walk everywhere we needed to go. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into the Keys. If you are a party crowd I would say this is not the hotel for you because if you are too loud after 12 you will most likely get a knock on the door from the night guard. Also if you are looking for high end amenities such as On Demand Movies this hotel does not provide that. But you’re in the Keys so you should be exploring the town not the hotel room :) Also the cottages were huge with full kitchens so if you were looking to save some money on eating out that is definitely possible in the cottages, they were very big. We are looking forward to our next stay there.

We needed a change of latitude and it was the perfect week for vacation.  We had one large snow storm in Massachusetts and got out on Superbowl Sunday before the next storm on Monday, 2/2.  From what we hear it snowed all week while we were enjoying our vacation.  Unfortunately we are now back home and most schools and businesses are closed due to another snow storm!

We do however want to thank you all at the Chelsea House for making our stay in Key West everything we expected.   Starting with our check in with Dennis at the Chelsea House he was very informative.  Free parking was great.  We didn’t move our car for the entire time we stayed.  Our room was fantastic.  The women (sorry I cannot remember their names) who oversaw the breakfast in the morning by the pool were so pleasant.  Had a wonderful conversation with them.  The office staff were great.  We had a rainy, rainy day on Thursday and the woman in the office was wonderful.  Thanks so much for the poncho!  We enjoyed the pool and lounge chairs on Friday for a couple of hours.   Love relaxing and soaking up the sun.   Commotion on the Ocean for our Sunset Cruise was wonderful as well as Hot Tin Roof Restaurant.  We hated to leave the following day but all good things must come to an end.  Goodbye sunshine.  See you again in the future!

Cypress House has it all!  Superior location to Duval & Front Street.  Historic charm plus cozy, updated rooms.  Relaxing, private pool area.  Enjoy a continental breakfast and happy hour daily.

This was our first time visiting and we were thrilled.  The staff is friendly and helpful.  Fresh bathing linens are provided daily.  We will definitely be coming back on our next trip to Key West!  Thanks for a really great stay!

This was my second stay at the Key Lime Inn in Key West. It’s a wonderful small property in Key West. Close enough to walk to everything and still out of the fray just enough that it’s quiet enough to sleep through the night. The rooms are pristine and comfortable, the grounds are very well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s all around a great property. We’ll be back.

We had a poolside queen bed room. The room was clean and comfortable, and usually pretty quiet. Occasionally the poolside gate did slam which was quite loud, especially during the morning breakfast, not a big problem for us, but might be for someone who wants to sleep in later. The office staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a nice but decent walk to Duval and waterfront. Nearby bike rental make it easier to see more of the island and get to the beaches. Eaton St Fish market was also an easy walk, the lobster roll was my favorite meal in Key West. They have a small but delicious, fresh menu! Overall, we had a nice stay and would probably stay again.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay in Key West at the Albury Court Hotel. A few blocks off  Duval street but a nice walk that let’s you see the Old Key West architecture. Front desk personnel went out of their way to answer questions ( it was our first visit to KW). Had a beautiful balcony and great outside breakfast. Would definitely go back again.

This is the second time I stayed here and both times it has been a pleasure.  The hotel is close enough to Duval and the action to walk but far enough so you don’t get the noise.  The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, nice pool.  Highly recommend.
