I want to thank staff for the parking of my Suburban with the canoe on top and the refusal to double dip when I had to bail out because of the one day in a year bad weather where the planes did not fly to the Tortugas.

As for the accommodations, it’s just another Ritz-Carlton but without the marble floors. Not to mention I was only one block from my favorite restaurant Hard Rock.  Geeez.  I WAS impressed!!

Thanks to the Cypress House, we had a fabulous first trip to Key West!  From the moment we arrived, the staff was so inviting.  We actually felt like we were staying with old friends.  The rooms were spacious and clean and have so much character.  The breakfast selections were great.  Each morning we had something new to look forward too.  We never wanted to go anywhere else in the mornings.  The liming hour is an event not to be missed, although it took us a day to catch on. Cypress House is also in a premiere location.  It is within walking distance of everything Key West has to offer.  This was our first trip to Key West and hopefully not our last.

This was our 2nd visit to Key West and our first time staying at the Merlin Guesthouse — we found the room clean,  modern and perfect for our needs — it was a small room, but a perfect fit for us. We took advantage of the daily morning breakfast which I felt was just the right amount of food options before a day exploring the town or a day at the beach. The staff was friendly and professional. The location was excellent and somehow very quiet at night. The pool was small,  but functioned well just to cool off during sunbathing. Lastly, the house cat Jordan was a great addition to our experience! We would definitely  recommend Merlin Guesthouse to friends and will definitely be back.

All I can say is WOW!!!  The Merlin Guesthouse does it again.  We drive from Columbus, Ohio to stay at the Merlin and on our way on March 14, 2015 a tragic accident happened on 1 just three cars in front of us.  In an emotional distress, I called the Merlin to let them know we may not be arriving until after closing due to the road closure.  When I called, Linda (whom we have grown so fondly of) was able to calm us down and let us know that everything will be OK and that we will have a wonderful room waiting for us when we arrive.  She gave us a detailed list of places where we could go to eat and take it easy until traffic was allowed past mile marker 9.  Linda is the epitome of amazing customer service, so much so that she does not treat you like a customer or visitor, but rather as family.

We love the Merlin so much because of its calm, quiet, and stunning tropical atmosphere; it’s hard to believe that the Merlin is just a two minute walk from the wonderful restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Duval St.  The staff are always so genuinely sweet and the rooms are so beautiful and clean.  To top everything off, the Merlin Guesthouse offers a wonderful complimentary breakfast poolside.  In closing, I have shared my experiences with the Merlin Guesthouse to family and friends, I have followed the Historic Key West Inns on Facebook, and I have fell in love with everything about this little piece of paradise.  Thank you for allowing us to have not a care in the world, to sleep peacefully at night in the comfy beds, and to wake up feeling human, even if it means we are only able to feel that “alive” once a year with you.

Thank you Linda, the Merlin Guesthouse, and everyone at the Historic Key West Inns for making our trip this spring one to remember.

The Lighthouse Court Hotel was an extremely comfortable and relaxed place to stay. Beautiful surroundings with an island atmosphere.

The staff was very welcoming and attentive.

The hotel is very close to Duval Street but a little distance from the harbor. Very close to to the best retail and restaurant parts of Duval.

We were at the Albury Court Hotel for 4 nights in March. We decided late in the game to vacation in KeyWest so our selection of accommodations were limited. Thank goodness the Albury Court had a room available for us. Upon arrival our room wasn’t ready because it was too early. The front desk took our cell and called us when it was cleaned. The front desk staff were excellent and friendly. Our room overlooked the pool with a small balcony which we did use to relax on. The room itself was small but quaint and newly renovated. It was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also newly renovated and clean, the shower was excellent. The room was freshened daily and done at our convenience. We didn’t use the pool but did enjoy the breakfast and coffee each morning. We didn’t have a car so parking wasn’t an issue for us.

We were very pleased with the entire experience. Thanks to the front desk, the housekeeping staff and the team that prepared the food. We had a blast in Key West and would recommend your hotel.

My wife and I have visited Key West two to three times a year for the past six years, and this is our second stay at Key Lime Inn. It is becoming our favorite and we are already discussing our next trip. Every staff member we encountered was fantastic, from the time we checked in until the day we left. Very welcoming and friendly. We stayed 5 nights and the room was quite comfortable for our length of stay. The room was clean and inviting. The bedding was also very fresh and comfortable. We love the location, too. Everything we did was within walking or biking distance. I really can’t think of anything negative to report. We will certainly look at this property first when booking our next Key West visit. Highly recommend it.

The room is spacious and clean, the decor has a tropical flare, maintaining a sense of warmth and elegance.  Location is ideal, quiet but a quick walk and you’re on Duval Street.

My daughter and I just spent two nights at the Key Lime Inn.  The room was charming and the facilities were great.  We enjoyed our daily breakfast by the pool and the onsite bike racks.

The entire staff was extremely helpful and attentive, sharing multiple recommendations.

The hotel is centrally located and a perfect spot for walking and biking through Key West.

This was a great place to stay! Some parts of the complex are historic. However, the place is updated to a high degree. It is across the street from the Catholic church and historic convent so there is no need to miss mass. The hotel is steps from the main Duval street and we walked to the beach at the state park. Other beaches were even closer. The sand is full of coral so water shoes might be helpful. The pool is great! Tons of seating! Tons of parking, but I had to walk a bit for the over flow parking. I had to take a taxi to Mallory Square (tons of fun and bars etc). It would be a longer walk for us. I was it was less money at this hotel, but… it was the best value for us!
