Stayed at the Albury Court for the week of New Years 2014/2015 and loved it. We booked our trip late and were really fortunate to find this gem. It was affordable, given the week we were going, more so than of the other hotels that had limited availability on such late notice.  The location is perfect, a short walk to Duval street, but far enough away from the craziness if you want that.  The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially the woman at the front desk, whose name escapes me (she was from Maryland).  The rooms were on the smaller side, but that’s to be expected at these boutique hotels – we didn’t need much more – and it was very clean, recently renovated and had a modern tilt. They may have larger rooms, but there were only 2 of us so nothing more was needed.  Plus, if you’re spending all your time in the room, you’re doing something wrong. They were quiet, never really hearing any other guests.  We had a nice little shared porch with a couple of chairs if you want to sit outside and people watch. There is a little pool with a few chairs if you want to relax outside, with a daily continental breakfast which is above and beyond any continental breakfast I’ve ever had.  It’s a block or two from a nice little bakery/coffee shop, as well as bike rentals, which you can keep at the hotel for mutiple day rentals.  Considering you spend most of your time exploring, walking, touring and enjoying all Key West has to offer, this place is perfect and highly recommended.

We stayed at the LCH for the week of New Year’s and it was a very pleasurable retreat.  The hotel was clean and comfortable and the pool was very refreshing! The room was surprisingly quiet.   Breakfast was outstanding – really good local bagels, and this coming from a New Yorker.  The staff was super friendly and gracious.  The location (one block from Duval) couldn’t be beat.  Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

The Merlin Guesthouse is a quiet oasis in the middle of busy Key West. The private grounds are beautifully landscaped with tropical plants, and there are lounge chairs, a hammock, and a small pool scattered around, perfect for relaxing. We opted for a Deluxe King Room and are so glad we did. Our room (# 11) was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. There was a mini fridge and Keurig in the room. When you walk out of the grounds, you are just one block from Duval Street, and a 15 minute walk from Mallory Square and 10 minute walk to the Southernmost Point. The breakfast was sufficient and the staff were very nice and helpful with restaurant and jet ski tour recommendations. They even help you find parking when you arrive. We would definitely stay here again when in Key West.

This was our 4th trip down to Key West but our first time staying at Albury Court. We had reserved two rooms for two nights. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was fantastic throughout our stay. Provided suggestions for lunch. Unfortunately I do not remember any staff member names. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The cost per night was right on. Check in and check out was very quick and easy. We would definitely recommend Albury Court to anyone planning on visiting Key West.

Loved our room (#22)!  Very spacious & clean, comfy bed, nice porch area, very secluded and quiet.  Close to Duval and all the places we like to explore.  Check in/out was a breeze, staff friendly & accommodating.  We will definitely stay here again & would gladly recommend to others.

This was the best place we stayed during our US trip. The room was of an excellent standard, the guesthouse is beautiful and in a great location, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Loved having breakfast in the garden and will definitely return if we come back to Key West.

The Lighthouse Court was a wonderful base of operations in my short “mini-moon” vacation. With the brevity of our stay, it was a shame we would not relax in and around the inn more. (And when we could, the weather would not cooperate with sun. Alas!)

Check-in and -out was a breeze. The staff went out of the way to make it accommodating, and receiving helpful, informed, and informative suggestions (e.g., between competing trolley companies) was as easy as asking. (And ask! They may have coupons for you to use, if you remember to bring them.)

We stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for two nights in January and it was wonderful! The suite was always spotless and very well updated. Pool area is cute and the bartender at the cafe was very nice. Breakfast is included and offers fruit, cereal, local pastries and a few others things. The location can’t be beaten…one block to Duval but far enough away that it’s quiet at night. (As a suggestion, walk to a restaurant called Blue Heaven down the street). All the employees were friendly and helpful!
